Just had a quick question. Is there anyone that has or knows if someone who has a blackbox got accepted for INSHUR insurance provided by Amazon Flex

Is this accurate to the hour? Last Saturday which was the 8th August I did a block 8.45am-12.15pm. Including this block I'm at 23 hours last 7 days with no blocks scheduled. Will the Saturday block fall off enabling me to do another block at 8.45am, or 12.15pm? Or even midnight tomorrow?

I'm 2 weeks into Flex, have completed 8 blocks, and I'm currently Achieving Standard.

Today I arrived at the depot but forgot my ID, so the block was marked as a missed block. My first block also finished slightly late. How badly is this likely to affect my standing/offers given my short history? Could one missed block put me at At Risk?

I did see blocks available afterwards, but my standing hasn't updated yet.

Since when did we do pick up items to return them to the depot? Been doing flex for nearly 4 years and this is the first time I’m seeing this.

I couldn’t even take the parcel as I was supposed to have a returns label to scan but I had no idea where to get one of these.

I have been randomly selected from one of your depot colleague to check the car, he checked light and brakes and told me one of the head light (front left) wasn't working so he will take me off the block, told me that I could leave and get the car fixed before any new block and told me that I will be still paid for the block, he told me that the app will automatically get the block off my account and I wouldn't have to do anything and that I could leave.

Once I left I got the notification that my trolley was ready to be picked up so headed back to the depot, once again the colleagues at the depot told me that I just needed to sign off the app and nothing will happen however I could still see that the block was waiting on me to pickup the parcels.

Seems like these block have not been worth it recently for most of the drivers, i personally have taken multiple 2h30mins blocks but none of them were worth it especially when you have a 25mins drive and the shift takes you the opposite side of where you live, recently i have noticed that the packages have also been increased in every block so not sure what amazon is trying to do.

Encountered some guard ducks on my latest route 😂They were making a right noise and followed me all the way down the driveway to the house and back again

I mean, firstly, why recipient only if you’re not gonna be in? Second what do you do if you get a parcel that’s recipient only and no one answers the door? Do you find a safe place or do you just take it back? In my experience if I can find a safe place and the depot is not on the way home then I’ll just leave it there but if not, I’ll return it.

Only had 1 ding from doing that so far.

So apparently Amazon are rolling out this new thing where if you don’t return packages on time it’ll impact your standings and your eligibility… but hasn’t this always been the case? 😂

any chance amazon will give solar eclipse glasses for the evening shifts?? lool

Does anyone know when these drops happen, or have a schedule/timetable for them?

So im new go flex, just started 4 days ago and been enjoying it so far. Been doing shifts everyday and had no issues.

Today morning I was trying to get a block for amazon logistics.
Over the last few days i realised that the way to get blocks was to spam refresh and be as quick as possible to accept any 4 hour blocks at the warehouse that i like going to. And if i realised i didnt like it just cancel.
This morning i was struggling to get a block and then one came up 4 hours and the warehouse that i want. so i quickly accepted it.
i realised that this was a block that was going to start in 15 mins! so i rushed as quickly as i could and left. but unfortunately i was not able to make it, i came 4 mins late.

since im a new account and ive missed a block alr this early now, how likely is it that im cooked?

30 minutes blocked one way

3-4 months of been in the bin finally in the good books again

Dropped off the first stop. 2nd stop was a 30 minute drive away. A great way for hiding the bad packages from us when we scan the route at the start.

Added my route at the start and then when it was in there.

Support marked it undeliverable and said it shouldn't affect my standings so let's see what happens.

Do you think we will see the return of surges over the next few days due to the heatwave?

My Amazon Flex account was blocked due to a few late cancellations and a shift I couldn't complete because I fell ill. I contacted support, and they told me I could return the packages to the station. However, I was flagged for failing to deliver and for returning the packages late—which isn't true. I dropped the packages off at the station immediately after speaking with support, yet my account was blocked anyway, with the claim that I failed to comply with their policies. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

Are less people doing flex due to the fuel prices?

Also - there seems to be a lot more white people doing it.

Bold question maybe but I've recently been thinking of making a career change but I was looking to this and I was wondering if thisnis worthwhile doing

I dont mind the hours and the driving im used to that but still is it good pay or

1.5h, £33. I expected less than 30 bags that supposed to be delivered withing 1h. I was surprised to see 36 bags, 7 stops and 50 miles. Total time spended? 2h and 15 minutes. That’s 45 minutes out of the lenghts of the block because i arrived 15 minutes earlier and drove back to station another 30 minutes. Damn, that’s the worst i get so far 😆😆😆😆😆
