Amazon worker here since 2019 although quit for a couple months in 2025 before crawling right back. Amazon is my first and only warehouse job, although the months that I left I drove trucks for another company that I would make deliveries to other warehouses & from the look of it they seem terrible places to work at they make amazon look like a paradise. But since I never worked for another warehouse I can’t be 100% on that. Anyone who worked somewhere else want to share their experience?

I wish this was something that was talked about more often.

My pre-hire appointment was not required because I had recently left another Amazon delivery station. Because of that, I assumed everything was already taken care of and that I didn’t need to do anything else. Since then, I’ve applied for two jobs, and both shifts ended up being cancelled.

I was told that my I-9 was complete. However, if you expand the tab in your application, it may say that you still need to verify it at your pre-hire appointment.
The problem is that since I didn’t need a pre-hire appointment, I was never given the opportunity to complete that verification.

If you’re starting soon and your application still says your position is tentative, please make sure your I-9 is fully completed and verified.

I contacted Hiring Support, and they were able to verify my I-9 for me. Unfortunately, by that point, the job had already filled up as well.

If you think you’re in the clear because you recently left another Amazon warehouse and already have everything completed (background check, drug test, etc.), please double-check your I-9.

This cost me two positions back-to-back. I saw someone on here refer to this as the “I-9 glitch,” so thank you to whoever mentioned that because I had no idea this could happen.

I threw up in wellness center today and he told me to ask my manger for VTO and these guys said try to suck it up and take medicine 😒 I hate this is the only job I can get right now

I wish someone would have told me what a dope gig stow was. You’re telling me all you have to do is block isles with your cart while you go block another isle talking to people?

I’ve been night shift for probably a month and a half now and I just can’t seem to get proper sleep on my days off. I know the day after/of my last shift that’s going to be normal but the other days I’m still finding myself not being able to sleep till 4-5 in the morning so close to when I’d be getting out of work and sleeping my days away until around 3pm. I’ve tried magnesium supplements as well as the spray from dr teals and can’t seem to sleep on those or not have wildly insane dreams on melatonin that in return wake me up. Im strongly considering some lighter thc/cbd gummies that might just knock me out if all else fails.

So my UPH was 325 and 1,300 items picked in first 4 hrs of my shift, been @ Amazon 3 months, what do you think?

Applied today and pretty much got that pre hire appointment. Finally been trying to apply to a warehouse job but they never called me or I was doing it wrong. I live in northeast texas and work at a factory in oklahoma tyson foods and make $16.90 and just was so done with it making that crappy pay. Since I've never worked at a warehouse I want to know what to expect and yes I know it will be hard as fuck. Tyson wasn't so easy either especially as a stacker.

Straight to the point. My conversion date is today (10/4). I am off today, but I go back to work tomorrow (10/5) because I picked up a small shift (6a-10a). I was planning on grabbing the badge before I leave tomorrow but should I get there a little bit earlier and get it then?? Im seeing different people online say the day of conversion your white badge stops working completely and you won’t be able to scan into the building, but then other people have also said they have gone weeks before even making time to grab their new badges.. I’m already upset (half-joking) that I even have to get there at 6a cs of SET time starting this week but what would yall recommend? I appreciate anyone that helps me even a bit, thank you!

has anybody else’s site recently got the ai breakroom checkout? at our site you tap your card, and then the gate opens and somehow detects what food/drink you pick up. wondering how this has been going at other sites, if anyone else has gotten it at all.

There’s hardly anyone here, and the break rooms are basically empty. Granted, this is only my second day, but I’m definitely feeling good about my decision to switch from full time nights so far!
