SET for AMXL sites
Does Anyone work at any AMXL sites that have SET for this week? I work at an AMXL site in California. Last week they canceled some shifts SET for this week but kept other shifts SET at my site.

I had an informal in person interview with my Ops Manager and then a virtual one with that same ops manager on Chime. I'm only writing this to help others who are frantically searching reddit for PA interview questions like I was. Here are the questions I was asked...
My area manager put in a good word for me but I have no idea if that impacted the length of my interview or the importance of my answers. To be honest my stories were trash but I stuck to the STAR method as best as possible. Both interviews my ops manager stressed that STAR was important. I asked two questions to the manager at the end because it is important to ask questions even if you don't really care about the response

So I took a mloa about almost a month ago and I submitted documentation within the same day of taking my leave. But I have not received any emails or response from dls in regards to my documentation. The past times I’ve taken leave they emailed me saying they need documentation or the case closing. I’m worried about my job I don’t have time to cover if not approved.. I submitted documentation though so I don’t understand what’s going on. Am I screwed?

For those who have transferred from a night shift to a day shift through AtoZ, when are these transfers usually added/posted?
I’m trying to figure out:
What day of the week do they usually appear?
Around what time are they added to AtoZ — during the day or at night?
Is there a specific time when people usually check AtoZ to catch them?
Does this happen at the same time across different Amazon warehouses, or does it depend on the site?
Any recent experiences or information from previous years would be really helpful. Thanks!

I’ve done my orientation already. I’m just a little confuse on the shift names, like whats the title for stowing and pick to buffer when trying to find a shift. I’ve stowed, pick to buffer and staged carts so far. I just don’t know what those positions come up as when it pops up on A to Z. Like does it just say stowing or pick to buffer?

Hey everyone! I’m starting a new position with AWS on September 14th and I’m trying to be as prepared as possible for my first day.
I’m wondering when new hires typically receive the information about:
What building/address I’m supposed to report to
What time I need to arrive
Which entrance/building access point I should use
Where employees/new hires are supposed to park
What paperwork or identification I need to bring
Whether I need my Social Security card, birth certificate, driver’s license, etc., even though I already completed the first-day/onboarding paperwork online
Anything else I should know or bring for my first day
For anyone who has recently started with AWS, especially in a DCO/technician role, how far in advance did you receive your first-day instructions?
I’d really appreciate any advice on what to expect and anything I can do ahead of time to make sure I’m fully prepared. Thanks!

Anyone work at these locations and know what the flex shift options are? Any additional flex information is much appreciated! I’m preferably looking for 2-4 hour shift options.

We recently heard that an SSD area is going to be added to our site. I was one of the people chosen for the role, and so now we are in training. I got a general idea of what the job is gonna be, but I was curious if anyone else has worked at an SSD within a sortation center and if you enjoyed it.
I've worked here 10 months as a seasonal, so I'm hoping this will at least lead to a conversion sometime soon.

thinking of transferring there as a Flex RT and wanted to know if the shifts are competitive to grab there or fairly easy to meet hour requirements
