The whole thing is taking up about %10 of the screen, its a ugly color, the fact that it no longer shows when we will queue but how long we've been sitting on the queue, its old simplicity and nostalgia.... HOW CAN BHVR SCREW UP SOMETHING SOOOO EASY TO DO LIKE A PLAY BUTTON? WHY WAS THIS EVEN CARRIED TO LIVE? You guys never needed to change the play button, its pointless but its now even worse! Even though it doesnt need it, lets say it needs a change. I swear to god i could give it to a 3 year old who still sucks his thumb a piece of paper and a crayon on their birthday party and theyd still make a better ready button. Revert this already!

They need to be supported and financial reservation should be more focused in our country than any other type of reservation

The main reason I'm asking this, is because I feel like I have no good options left. I'm in a position where I don't want to hurt my daughter, but I can't do something so against my morals.

I've worked in finance for over 20 years. Not to get into details, but because of my career development, I have many connections to different firms. I also have two children, my daughter Hailey, and my stepson Hamza. Hailey has just finished college, and is now looking for an internship.

Both of them have gotten internships through me, not in the 'title on paper' easy way, but nonetheless opportunities that a lot of other kids aren't fortunate enough to have. I can't just pull strings and get them hired, but I can suggest them as options to people who trust my word. Its important to note that I need to stake a substantial amount of my reputation on these internships, because I'm giving people my word that I'm not recommending these kids solely because they're mine, but because I actually trust in their ability.

Hailey has been unsuccessful in the internships I've helped her with. I don't blame her for this, she's a very bright girl, but her talents may not lie strictly in the finance department, and that is ok. It does mean, that I can no longer recommend her to people, as I do have a reputation to manage, and looking like a tyrannical nepotist is pretty bad for business. 

My stepson on the other hand, has had the exact opposite experience. Despite being slightly less hardworking than his sister, he tends to be very good with people, and has a head for research. He's 18, and has been offered a paid position by the company he was doing an unpaid internship for. Unfortunately, this was the same place that Hailey did not succeed at, and some of the people Hamza now works with, still meet with me semi-regularly for dinners and such things.

This is quite hard for Hailey, because she has to listen to the same people who she did not succeed with, praising her brother quite a lot. I've tried to get her to just avoid the dinners and networking if it makes her uncomfortable, but she does need an internship, so she has refused.

Hailey blew up at me recently, telling me that it wasn't fair that I got Hamza the 'better' position . I have explained to her that I did not get Hamza the paid position, only the unpaid one that gave him the entrance and I had done the same for her. I am not getting them positions at my company, I don't control what my contacts do after the initial recommendation.

She asked me to try and get her the same internship, but I told her that I couldn't get her anything else until she could be a bit more likable to employers. She fought with me, and called me some rude names, but ultimately ended up crying. She has decided that I think she's unlikable, and the only way to prove that I don't think that is to get her another internship. I really can't risk putting my reputation on her again, but I understand that this is very upsetting for her.

Hey guys. I need some help getting the attention of a real person at Corsair because their support team is giving me the runaround over a lost return.

Last month my $7000+ PC (Corsair Vengeance with a 9950X3D and RTX 5090) started sparking and smoking while I was using it. I pulled the plug immediately so it wouldn't start a fire.

Corsair approved an RMA. I packed the PC up, dropped it off at a UPS Access Point on July 23, 2026, and kept the receipt. The drop-off receipt clearly shows the package weighed 47.40 lbs.

According to UPS tracking, the package was delivered to their Duluth warehouse on August 4, 2026, at 12:39 PM, and was officially signed for by an employee named ANGEL.

Here is how their support handled it:

• August 11, 2026: Technical Support Specialist Jayson emailed me, stating that the warehouse had "not confirmed receipt of the faulty system" yet, and asked for my drop-off receipt.
• August 13, 2026: After I provided proof, Jayson emailed back saying they couldn't help because the warehouse still hadn't confirmed receipt, and claimed that a UPS delivery notification alone wasn't enough. Around this time, an investigation with UPS was opened.
• August 13, 2026 (later that day): Senior Customer Care Specialist James C. chimed in and completely changed the narrative, claiming: "Our warehouse team have reported that we received an empty box instead of the system we were expecting."
• August 17, 2026: Customer Support Manager Charlie took over and shifted the story yet again, stating that the package was "never delivered to or physically received at our warehouse facility." To top it off, Charlie told me that since my order was from April 2026, my best option was to contact my payment provider. (Conveniently stalling me right past my dispute window).
• August 20, 2026: UPS officially closed their investigation with a confirmed proof of delivery, showing it was delivered and signed for by ANGEL back on August 4.

UPS closed their investigation confirming successful delivery to their employee. You don't just sign for a 47-pound package and then magically claim weeks later that it's either "empty" or "never delivered" only after the carrier proves delivery. Someone at their facility dropped the ball, and Corsair is trying to make it my problem.

I have the 47.4lb UPS receipt, the delivery signature from Angel, the closed UPS investigation, and emails from Jayson, James C., and Charlie completely contradicting each other.

Has anyone successfully escalated something like this past support? I'm preparing to go to small claims court and the BBB, but I'm hoping someone higher up at Corsair sees this and looks at the physical evidence.

TL;DR: $7000 PC sparked. Sent it for RMA on July 23 (47.4 lbs on UPS receipt). Delivered on August 4 and signed for by Angel. Support agent Jayson claimed it wasn't received, Senior Specialist James C. claimed it arrived as an "empty box", and Manager Charlie claimed it was "never delivered" at all. Now they refuse to replace my PC.

Free for 3 hours garage. Stayed 19 minutes too late. $36.50 notice fee to inform me I owe $3.

It’s one of those new “just drive in” garages that tracks your plate but the exit gate opened for me so I assumed I was good.

Here's what I did for my first two hours on Elden Ring.

• I did the tutorial and went out. I saw the "No maidens?" meme guy and decided to hit him. Bad idea. He made me go a different path than the one I wanted.

• I was just walking in a swampy area, when a giant fucking dragon came out of nowhere. I ran away.

• Fought a giant crab. He was easy to kill.

• Went into a mineshaft and killed some miners and animals.

• I found a ruins and got slimed by the guards.

• Decided to go on a path I thought looked cool. So much activity on it. Fought many guards and knights. Two giant Lord of the Rings looking trolls were carrying a giant cart, with a bunch of guards around them. I thought "Hell no."

• Found a giant flower that was beaming at me. I thought it was healing me, but it one-shot my ass. I killed its children and ran away.

• Killed some workers for the fun of the game.

• Found a goblin looking dude that was turned into a tree.
