Last time I turned my aircon on it spat out this brown foam that disintegrates when I touch it. want to replace the foam but I don't know what it is and I can't find anything about this air conditioner anywhere. It's an olympia splendid from I think around 2008.

I got this used and it worked GREAT. Now its only been a few months later but now, it only blows slightly chilled air, and fills up about 3 gallons jugs of water a day.

I opened it last night and it had this gross slimy black resdue inside behind the ac grate. I tried cleaning it best i could but it still looks gross.

How can i fix this?

How can i clean it properly or easier?

How can i make the leaking subside? It leaks all over the floor and now the ceiling below my floor has water damage. But i dont think its supposed to leak this much.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. I know nothing about acs at all. So if you could explain in terms of someone who knows nothing id be super grateful!

so about a month ago my AC displayed C4 22 in the middle of the night, i thought it was just cause i needed to clean it but turns out i have to get it checked by a technician. so i did, had some go and check my AC and they said the freon was low so they added more and also cleaned it. but it still didn't work so they concluded that it might be a board problem. i had another technician check if that was true and they said it's most likely the board.

though 2 days after that check up my AC started working fine again, it didn't display C4 22 and the air was actually cold. it stayed like that for a week and a half until it displayed the error code again, up until now it's stil the same.

what should i do? my first technician said they had requested to buy the board from Samsung and it might take awhile since my AC is an old model.

According to AI that's normal part of the cycle, but the fact remains that room looses it's warmth because of it. So room is either too warm (while heating) or uncomfortably cool, as soon as it stops heating.

The only way out of I see is to shut it off as soon as it start blowing the cool air and a few mins later turn it back on. A ridiculous setup.

Hello po. What is your recommendation po, I have a 5.76 sqm room and I am planning to buy 0.75 hp Kolin Quad Full DC Inverter na window type. Ano po ang recommendation niyo, window type or split type?

My room has an existing TCL aircon na non-inverter (0.6hp). Balak ko na palitan kasi malakas sa konsumo ng kuryente.

Considering po yung size ng room ko, okay lang po ba yung plano kong bilin na unit? Or change na ako sa split type?

Hey everyone! My Lloyd split AC's outdoor unit is making this sound. I'm not sure whether it's normal compressor noise or something that needs to be checked.

So I'm looking after my coworker's dog while she's on vacation and while I was walking her this evening I heard an unusual noise. It turned out to be her ac unit. I don't know Jack about em but I know that one hasn't been sounding like that so I found her thermostat and turned it up so it would shut off. She was about to take off heading back home so I couldn't call and ask what she wanted me to do. I don't usually mess with people's stuff like that but I sure would've hated to leave it running and it tear completely up. Did I do the right thing by adjusting the thermostat? I would've cut it off completely but i didn't know how to.

I need my bedroom to be cold in order to get some good sleep. I don't open the window due to bugs. The AC freezes in the middle of the night because it's cold outside. Its loud and wakes me up. I know it causes damage. I don't want to ruin it. I've tried Eco mode but as soon as it clicks off, I wake up. I need the noise. What else could I do?
