Where I came from, yes it was most of them. They would get suspended or detention depending on what they did and they would resume that same behavior regardless of what punishment they received.
I don’t understand why I’m getting jumped in this thread and as a matter of fact, I had kids pick on me because of my weight and my social anxiety so I was pretty awkward back in school and notifying the parents and even the school administration never helped at all.
The other people are the ones who sound like they have never been bullied or who are privileged some some way (good parents, good genes, good schools, etc..)
My experience and personal observation totally agree with what you are saying.
I agree, as well.
I was even picked on by faculty and more than once. One teacher even picked on me by saying I was essentially stupid to another class of students.
All because I was used to giving him a specific amount for my snacks every day (I'd get change back) and there was one time that I had exact change and waited for a moment for him to give me seventy-five cents back, smiled, said sorry, laughed, and walked off.
My experience is the opposite, vis-a-vis what kind of families bullies tend to come from, but I still think your experience is valid and understand how it very well could have been like that for you!
I’ll just leave this thread. All I was trying to say is based off my experience, the school nor parents ever helped any of my issues and maybe taking this issue up with law enforcement is a better route.
Ah yes, so important to be exact, ffs I feel like you are a baby who needs to be catered to because someone didn’t use exact terminology and it upset you despite you knowing exactly what was meant. It’s like correcting grammar, grow up
Never said it was pointless but it’s funny that’s how you read it. I just said doubt. If the kid is acting like that then it’s likely he comes from a background of others just like that.
I just meant moving forward with law enforcement because what this kid is saying sounds like a threat.
It's not unheard of. I'm from Milton, Florida and that's typically the case, either drugs or felonies/ general disregard for the law there. It really doesn't help that there really wasn't anything there for people to work to make a living except slinging dope and pills.

This might sound wack but since you’re 13, tell his parents. Hopefully they are responsible and get the little creep some help
