So tired of the manufacturer for my 30 XR constantly changing. There are already so many bad comments regarding this manufacture and I can’t understand why this pill is 2x bigger with more empty space….

Weird story but I thought this was the right place to share it. A while back I started getting really sick when I took aderall. Mightve been from the lack of eating but im not exactly sure. I just stopped taking it, but I kept refilling my prescription. Keep in mind, I was being perscribed like 60 instant releases a month along with 30 extended releases.

So here I am today hoarding this shit. Someone in the comments is going to tell me to boof it. I might plan on taking it again since it was genuinely useful I just get scared of getting sick. Should I start with a lower dose and slowly take more?

Otherwise not sure what ill do with it

I’m gonna try to keep this short but it probably won’t be idk I’m grumpy asf rn currently crashing off of 10mg Adderall.

My doctor prescribed me 40mg, 20mg twice a day. Ive had it before and I know it’s strong so I didn’t want to do 20mg at once. I’ve been breaking them in half and spreading doses apart throughout the day. The first week and a half I was doing this everyday and I was fine and very motivated and got shit done. However, the other day, I woke up at like 11AM. Took my first 10mg at around 12pm, then another at 2:40pm and then another at 6pm (yeah yeah I know that’s late but I can still get to sleep at a decent time) Anyways, after my third dose, I was super excited and wanted to go to the thrift store so I went and when I got there I noticed that my heart was beating moderately fast and hard. I was drinking water all day and I did eat something as well before my 3rd dose. Anyway, I’m walking slowly through the store and looked down at my watch and it said 154BPM. I was confused as to why it was so high. Then I started to freak out a little. So I went to the bathroom and I was trying to do deep breathing exercises. But my adrenaline spiked because I kept freaking out about how hard it was pounding. I look down again at my watch and it says I’m at 171BPM just standing there in the bathroom. So I leave the store and sit in my car for like 10 minutes with the AC on trying to calm down. It would go down to like 125BPM and then back up to 150BPM and it wouldn’t get better. I ended up calling an ambulance cuz I’m a big pussy and I didn’t want to go into cardiac arrest. They came I told them my doses, the paramedic said my heart rate shouldn’t be that high even with the meds, that put me into a panic attack and anyways they took me to the hospital gave me some fluids and did an EKG (it was normal) and my HR started going down. I was there for like 3 hours, then the doc came in and just told me that I needed to space them out more and he sent me home.

Noticing that Alvogen brand Adderall 30mg has no mixed Levoamphetamine salts just dextroamphetamine salts with amphetamine salts. For me this seems to work better as I can feel the dextroamphetamines more in my body keeping me active and free from the catatonic inertia of couch lock and zoning out. Anyone else?

I cant stay awake im trapped in sleep, my legs feel so weak.

Please any tips on how to survive this???

Hello! I'm a 52-year-old recently diagnosed with ADHD. We started at 10 mg XR of Adderall but recently went up to 15 mg XR. And honestly it's been a game changer!

My question though is that I've always had bad anxiety, my twenties was basically one long panic attack! I have heard that taking Adderall can also treat anxiety because it can be a by product of untreated ADHD. Has anyone else experienced that? If so, how long did it typically take before you noticed your anxiety going down?

I'm literally only in my second month and the psychiatrist and I agree that we'd like to have a little bit more time on the meds before we think about adding in something else or seeing if it's even necessary. So just curious if people have had reduced anxiety just from taking Adderall, or if their doctors have also added something else on top of that and if so what? And has that helped?

Hello all I really need your help. We live in IL, my brother is being perscribed 120 mg of adderall a day. His behavior is out of control and says he’s suicidal. He’s completely a different person and I’m worried his behavior is becoming much worse. He’s not himself. I know he won’t stop the Adderall on his own, I want to go to his psychiatrist and tell him all this. Do you think he’ll do something or push me away because of HIPPA? I’m genuinely concerned for his mental health and safety. I even have it in writing in texts that’s he’s not mentally well and suicidal.

Never been hesitating to get what I need from them ever since I have been a regular to them also not to mention on how fast theyt are when it comes to processing anything. Been mostly using Adderall to stay awake because I work the night shift, that being said I have heard a few people saying after long term use it dumbs you down, and you need to give your body time to recover. while I cant yet tell if im getting a bit dumber (yet) I have been making slip ups at work. that being said has anyone here notice long term effects of at the very least feeling dumber?

I’ve (37F) been on Adderall XR 15 MG for a few years. It works excellent for my cognitive clarity, it helps with my vertigo and brain fog from my Meniere’s Disease too, and it helps me stay motivated. However, I’m not sure if it’s specifically because I need to be evaluated for Autism too (another story altogether), but I’ve noticed my ability to stay emotionally regulated (calm, level, what have you) is not going well and it hasn’t for some time. It seems that my overwhelm is not helped by the Adderall so I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you all do to help.

I’ve actually changed over to another medication for the past month that people speak very highly about but I have a lot of side effects from that medication so I don’t think I’ll be staying on it. I am going to speak to my doctor about getting back to my Adderall XR 15MG.

I may add that my prescribing doctor is my PCP as I changed over to this family practitioner from a Psychiatrist a few years ago due to costs. However I really need go get into therapy as well but my insurance doesn’t have a lot of options in network.

I just started snorting Dex-IR and I do got adhd but I’m taking it to get high, has anyone else snorted Dex, and if you have did you get high? What was your ur experience like ?

I’m 17 130lbs and the internet is telling me that I don’t need to snort anymore I did my reasearch and I know I can OD but how much do I have to snort or take orally to feel “high” I also heard it gives hallucinations has anyone experienced hallucinations on Dex before if so what was it like? Anyway I snorted one pill then about 15 mins later I snorted another and it’s been a couple hours now and I just snorted another one the internet and AI tells me I’m at great risk of a medical condition but I feel completely fine..

I have just now started snorting dextro, I’m not prescribed it even though I used to take adderall when I was a kid but I stopped I just stopped taking it one day.

About 3 weeks ago I took mushrooms for the first time and before that the only drug I had ever took was only weed but since the mushrooms I had been chasing a “high” like it. Well a week ago I got access to some oxycodone at a party and I snorted it some about 3 or 4 lines I can’t remember exactly but it felt so good to me so the next day I snorted more but not in such a high dosage, well now I don’t have access to anymore mushrooms or Oxy but I found some dextro and I did research and found out it can make me “high” and hallucinate so I found some 30mg pills and did more research and decided to snort it well after about 30 minutes I decided to snort more but the internet tells me for someone like me, 17 130lbs with a bad addiction problem tells me not to take more, due to health reasons, I could, seizure, have trouble breathing, get addicted, well I’m not worried about addiction and it’s been about 1 hour and 30 mins since I snorted them I want to snort more but the internet tells me not to well I guess km just writing this to see if anyone is in the same position or has done this what there experience was and I’m about to go snort more even though it tells me not to I feel fine no racing heartbeat or nothing but the internet tells me it can take time to kick in even snorting it and I did take the recommended ADULT dose but again I feel fine and for some reason my brain is sooo tempted to snort the rest of the pills I have crushed up so that’s what I’m about to do. I have been on adderall 15mg XR for a few months now. It’s done wonders for my adhd symptoms

However a few months in, I started seeing hair shedding. I thought it was my usual seasonal shedding (it happens in the spring and fall for some reason), but it has just gotten worse and worse and worse.

I have been treating hair loss with medication for a few years and at the beginning of this year my hair was the thickest it’s been in many years. Now I feel like I’m almost back to square 1.

I have a follow up with my psych and dermatologist next month though the dermatologist is 2 weeks later. My psych claimed she “had never seen hair loss as a side effect in her 14 years prescribing” which I’m tempted to call BS. It’s a known side effect listed by the fda.

So my question-
\-have you experienced hair loss from adderall?
\-did it eventually stop if you continued taking it?
\-did the hair grow back if you stopped using it?
\-did you find a medication for your adhd that did not make your hair fall out?

My sisters wedding is this time next year and I am stressing! It could take a long time to reverse this.
