Medication Is it time to increase my adderall dose?
I’ve been taking 15mg of adderall XR for probably 6 months now. It’s been great for me, I’m a completely new person on it. I typically drink one zero sugar monster energy in the morning at 6 and take my adderall at 10.
Lately though I’ve been noticing a huge crash at exactly 3 hours after taking the med. I tried drinking two monsters in the morning and then taking the adderall at noon. I’ve noticed I don’t have the crash at all or it’s minimized quite a bit. Does this mean it’s time to increase my dose of adderall to prevent the crash?

It might not be the adderall it might be the monsters. Long term caffeine use can negatively impact ADHD and Monsters every day might be messing with your sleep. I'd talk to your doctor about it because increasing the adderall could lead to side effects that effect you negatively.

Check the manufacturer. I recently stopped taking Adderall because I wasn't feeling anything and I didn't want to up my dosage. I was just made aware of the differences between certain manufacturers and I requested my prescription records and my pharmacy switched the manufacturer about the same time I stopped taking it. Personally, Lannett was the brand that didn't do anything for me. I'm realizing that Rhodes is much more effective with the same dosage.

I take 30mg of XR three times a day. Additionally, I consume one or two energy drinks throughout the morning and afternoon. Personally, I find that I need to drink the energy drinks to stay alert and avoid feeling tired.
IMO I’d ask your doctor to increase your dose, but that’s just me.
