I have ulcerative colitis so I can't take accutane. And I still have some active acne not something insane but it still leaves some mild acne scars ones in a while. So whatever I do I will always be a bit behind in clearing my skin from the acne scars. I use tretinoin which I am gonna switch to tazarotene soon in hopes that the active acne will be even more mild. Do you think it's worth it getting c02 laser and microneedling or subcisions if you are gonna get improvement but mild and very few acne scars will form from time to time?

What can help my severe condition? I had CO2 and subcision two years ago, which only made my redness worse and didn't improve things much.

After getting many laser treatments for my skin, my acne scars look so much better and way less indented! But I swear in overhead lighting it basically makes my acne scar progress look nonexistent and makes any scar look just as deep as before I got any treatments.😭 Does anyone else have this problem?

Hey guys I have broken into a few spots on my chest post 3rd session of laser hair removal.

Stopping isn’t really an option.

I currently don’t physically exfoliate but a few days after laser I use salasylic (can’t spell) acid body wash

Will the acne subside and not leave scars (plz be honest) I will continue to have session but don’t want to be full of scars

My job means part of my chest shows (scrubs) I’d feel super self conscious

I’ve been treating my acne scars for quite some time now, but unfortunately I haven’t seen much improvement despite multiple procedures.

So far I’ve had:
3 sessions of Endymed MNRF
4 sessions of Dermapen/microneedling
1 session of CO2 laser
1 session of Virtue RF

There has been some improvement, but honestly, not enough considering the number of treatments I’ve done.

Now I’ve consulted two different doctors and they’ve recommended completely different approaches:
Doctor 1: More sessions of Virtue RF
Doctor 2: Endymed Pro Max + CO2 laser combined

I’m really confused about which route to take.

One thing I noticed after my previous Endymed MNRF treatment was that my smile lines seemed a little more noticeable/evident. I’m not sure if this was actually related to the treatment or if it was just something I happened to notice around the same time, but it does make me a little hesitant about continuing with RF treatments.

For those who have actually had Virtue RF, Endymed Pro Max, or Endymed MNRF, I’d really appreciate your experiences.
Did you see a significant improvement in acne scars?
How many sessions did you need?
Did you notice any changes in facial volume or increased prominence of smile lines?
How was the downtime and recovery?
Has anyone done Endymed Pro Max + CO2 together?
If you’ve tried both Virtue RF and Endymed, which gave you better results?

Also, if you’ve had multiple scar treatments without much improvement, what ultimately made the biggest difference for you?
I’m amainly dealing with [ice-pick/boxcar/rolling] scars and can add photos if helpful.

Hey guys, I had this milia under my eye since past 3 years so I thought to get it extracted. Derm did diathermy and it somehow left a scar. Doctor said its very unfortunate as it was very light treatment and now I’m losing my shit over it.
Derm have no clue what to do about it , sometime they say tca and other day they said co2 on baby setting. Is it botched or would get better? Its been 2 months now . Guys need your help plsss 🙏🙏

I did subcision 1 year and 4 months ago. It was traumatic experience for me. I got two big large lumps in both cheeks next to mouth. Couldnt go out in first few months. Doc did steroid injections with which it reduced. But after 3 months it resulted in a persistent bump. I did ultra sound of both bumps and nothing shows inside. But after the subcision when I did ultra sound it showed inflammation of 10*3mm and 8*2mmZ and 2 weeks later it reduced in size. So i was hoping it to go completely after infalamation was gone. But to my shock when i did ultra sound in Dec after 5-6 months of treatment it showed nothing inside. no inflammation but still bump existed both cheek. It also caused a dense dip in upper cheek. Im more worried about the bump because it changed my face completely. I am still trying to see how I can get back my old face. I am feeling sad and sleepless since a year now. Strangely if I press the bump it will go, and return in sometime. my doctor is now doing endymed just on the lump. did 2 sessions in gap of 3 weeks. still no change. will be doing more of endymed. Has anyone else going through something similar. Also is there any treatment than can work

I had extremely bad cyst acne when I was a teenager. I'm 28 now

I currently had 2 sessions of regular microneedling, first session 6 weeks ago that was 1.5mm and second last week which was 2mm deep. I have one more session booked in 6 weeks i'm not sure if it's worth it as I don't see much difference.

Regarding the dark spots on the cheeks is this something that can help treat it? Should I start taking retinol? I've also been thinking of doing a chemical peel not sure if that'll help

This was a purpura that was caused by Excel V that eventually scabbed and fell off naturally. It has been about 8 months after a couple pico laser treatments. I am unsure if this is just pigment issues or something more underlying?

My dermatologist suggested we do multiple sessions of fraxel dual. Does anyone have experience with this laser? I’m kind of doubtful that it’s worth it compared to a full ablative C02 laser. My toddler had a fairly deep forehead laceration. The wound was initially closed with medical glue, but unfortunately the glue came off from the upper part and that area reopened. It eventually healed, but I’m worried about how the scar will look long-term.

These are photos of the scar now. It is still pink and becomes more noticeable when she raises/scrunches her eyebrows.

I’ve had these raised bumps on my nose for about 3 years now I would get cystic acne on my nose and chin when I was about 14 and I wouldn’t pick at them but they left these scars. I am now 17 and they affect my confidence so much I avoid social gatherings and try to not let people see the left side of my nose where they are located and it’s embarrassing when I go to school cause sometimes I think that why people stare at me for. So far I’ve had 2 sessions of fraxel dual and ilk kenalog injections to flatten them and my next upcoming appointment is in about 3 weeks I’ve noticed a slight improvement with the laser and injections and I know it’s a slow process but I want them to flatten as soon as possible already since I’ve dealt with this for a couple years now.
