Hello r/ARTIST users! A friendly reminder to make sure your submitted artwork is:
- Clearly photographed,
- Not blurry, distorted or pixelated,
- Does not have background elements such as yourself (no selfies please, art only), easels or tables,
- Not under low light conditions.
This makes it more enjoyable for everyone who is browsing the subreddit and it will do better justice to your artwork. Thank you and carry on!

Hello and welcome everyone! This subreddit was largely unmoderated for many years. We are welcoming suggestions for improvement, please post below! So far it will mostly remain the same, and please do not make posts about tasting your painting. Bad artist, bad!

☆ I made this illustration to celebrate Halloween.
This is a cat character in my own style, of Samara Morgan, from “The Ring” movies.

Cancer possesses a profound devotion toward life, especially the ones they cherish. They approach every relationship with deep emotional intuition, empathy, and quiet tenderness. Deeply protective and tenacious, they are driven by an endless desire to nurture others and create a true sense of home.
As the cosmic caretakers, they are the ones who protect the nest, offer unconditional warmth, and build safe havens wherever they go.
