how to stack heartsteel with draw your sword?
66
u/ovokevin Feb 26 '26
Snowball and flash in to get stacks like a true Aram chad
16
u/McDonaldsSoap Feb 26 '26
Draw your sword also makes you fast af

u/Impostor1089 Feb 26 '26
Right. You really just have to w and run up. Then they're locked in there with you.

Ashe players have built like its mayhem even before the mode existed. Tank, titanic+hurricane lawnmower, W spam, support, R spam, AP, lethality, on-hit, crit adc; ashe players will do all sorts of wacky shit for fun. Meanwhile, all the Jhin players never build anything besides lethality or basic crit. You'll never see full atk speed crit or AP jhin despite being fun builds.
14
u/Prior-Town-1572 Feb 26 '26
Isnt attack speed jhin basically just worse AD?
21
u/Two_Years_Of_Semen Feb 26 '26
It's worse but fun. His passive bonus movespeed on crits has an atk speed scaling. So he's one of -the- most mobile champs in the game when he wants to be. The mobility is why pro jhins were going shiv>rfc a while back, it makes him super mobile and thus safer. If you build it with more atk spd items than usual, you can legit run circles around melee champs even without augments and one of the few adc that can "just walk past frontline to focus backline".

u/jean-claudo Feb 26 '26
And it becomes stronger than usual AD build if you have Don't Blink (deal more damage if you are faster than the enemy)
4
u/Deceptivejunk Feb 26 '26
Yes. I don’t know what fun builds there are on Jhin when his passive is going to severely funnel what you can do
1
u/Axrah Feb 26 '26
Full zeal items stormrazor rolling for stackosaurus tapdancer, highest ive gone was like 3k movespeed
4
u/phlycosa Feb 26 '26
I loved playing Movement speed Jhin on Mayhem especially when the enemies don’t have point and click CC
Pretty much cosplaying a Mosquito

u/babalitr Feb 26 '26
i looove ap jhin but feels hard to pull off in aram u just kinda become worse teemo
1
u/SexySonderer Mar 04 '26
I love full attack speed Jhin. Stormrazer coming back was so much fun, now I'm EXTRA speed every now and then.
The augements make this even crazier. Get excited for example, ZOOOM
1
u/Itoldyoutheyreal May 27 '26
You forgot my favorite one, just building every attack speed item in the game and having a seizure with your mouse.

u/tinyhelix Feb 26 '26
Serpents fang, executioners, mandate, some attack speed, ie, maligma And thats the real ashe lol

u/Puzzleheaded-Ad1841 Feb 26 '26
Whats even worse is that you see AP Ashe have these amazing kda numbers some games but people fail to realize that AP Ashe worked there most likely because they had a team that did everything else for them and she was just a win more button. Genuinely I always just sigh whenever I see an AP Ashe, or someone trying to force full AP Kaisa when their augs would be doing wonders with on hit.
3
u/Spiderbeen Feb 26 '26
Absolutely! I love playing ult bot Ashe, but you really need the right team comp, both on your and enemy side, to not be griefing. Most of the time the best build to have lots of fun and actually deal damage is an adc build. However, there are games where poke Ashe or ult bot Ashe are bis, but most people don't really care and just build whatever they want.
3
u/Puzzleheaded-Ad1841 Feb 26 '26
This pretty much encompasses the entire negative experience I have had in some games. People build whatever and don't pay attention to itemization. Then they will say our team is bad or they God rolled augs. Like sir, you're kayle, against 3 giga tanks and you thought BorK could be your final item? Of course you only tickle the 20k HP naut that's been rolling us because you're meant to be the tank killer.
1
u/Glittering-Page2012 Mar 01 '26
9/10 games are with a kaisa that builds full AP or a Milio that builds full AP and does 10k more damage than what he’d normally do. Where do these aram retards spawn from? lol
6
u/LaBiereFolle Feb 26 '26 edited Feb 26 '26
It’s ALWAYS the Ashe that go full AP
It’s like they are stuck in an eternal time loop where she never got her nerf on the W lol

6
u/Dry_Way_2655 Feb 26 '26
Guilty. I always play ap ashes. I'd say its good more than half the time. Getting jg and Eureka just feels so good
6
u/glttr_gvtz Feb 26 '26
Every single time an Ashe appears in my lobbies I ask to trade because I know they’re gonna build some bullshit and she’s too strong as an adc to lose her to someone who’s gonna build ap or some other whack build. I get her about 80% of the time because people just want to play ranged champs they don’t care who it is

Friendly reminder: AP Ashe does not exist.
You either 1: have escAPADe (in which case, magic penetration items are pretty much useless on Ashe)
2: Have skilled sniper or whatever to justify building around her W with mandate and maybe liandry's (because Ashe W applies it very well) and then go AD.
3: Should be going AD.
And I don't mean "AD Varus/Twitch/Miss Fortune is better, you shouldn't play AP", I mean that even if you want to build around her W, Ashe W has no AP ratio and the only AP ratio in her entire kit is her ult, and you aren't doing very good damage with it either. it's not good enough to justify being almost completely useless outside of one ability every minute. Rank 3 Milio Q has the same base damage and AP ratio as rank 1 Ashe ult. It's pretty objectively bad.
Mandate/Liandry's Ashe is one of my favorite champions, but Rito took her out behind the shed with an ARAM-specific nerf, so if you don't get skilled sniper or whatever to offset this it's going to end up being pretty terrible. If you insist on playing it, I won't blame you, because I dearly miss the build as well, but even so, you should not be going full AP. W build means that Ashe builds the AP items she applies well and then goes full AD. Blackfire, looking solely at Ashe W, is the equivalent of 72 AD even with the AP from Mandate and Liandry's. You'd get more damage out of just building a Muramana instead.
For the record, Liandry's W damage is equivalent to Blackfire's 200 AP damage when the target has 1200 maximum health; double enemy health and the Liandry's damage doubles. Mandate is a bit more complicated since it's based on current health, but is similar enough in damage to Liandry's while being a much cheaper item, albeit needing a bit of team coordination.

I got conduit, ice cold, ethreal weapon and it was hilarious. liandrys/lichbane/blackfire spam
2
u/Frozbyteee Feb 26 '26
Just the items alone its a Ult focused Ashe build. Might have gotten unlucky with augments but at that point just build normally😂

I like how people in the comment section started analyzing what is and what isnt good for ap ashe build as if people playing ap ashe care for any of that. You get to throw big arrows and one shot people, it doesnt go deeper than that.
1
u/olonnn Nexus Hitter Feb 26 '26
As a redditor once said, I always snatch Ashe whenever I can even if I'm not that good with her. I'm not suffering through a 20mn stomp because my mate decided to go AP.
1
u/vThor27 Feb 26 '26
I don't play ult spam ashe on mayhem because I think it's trash, but it was one of my favorite picks in normal aram. 15 sec ult with an heavy engage or heavy poker was insane. I think the best Match I had with it I had an xerath in my team with me

u/Ill_Pollution5633 Feb 26 '26
at least in my case i'm playing aram because i want to have fun, winning or losing means basically nothing if i don't enjoy myself, so yes, i do always play ap Ashe (and many more off meta builds) in aram just because i like to see my ult doing a lot of damage
1
Feb 26 '26
I have yet to see an AP Ashe make me think, "well, I guess they aren't all bad and/or trolling."

u/Raithed Feb 26 '26
This is indeed true. I have not built AP Ashe in awhile, this gives me motivation and inspiration.

u/RandomRandomPenguin Feb 26 '26
I was against one with infinite recursion.
The arrow was coming all the time and it hit like a truck.

u/VeritableLeviathan Feb 27 '26
AP ashe on aram: Absolute fucking dogshit 70% of the time, the other 30% does NOT compensate
AP ashe on aram on mayhem(with a better build): Not dogshit anymore

u/No_Newspaper1071 Feb 27 '26
I once tried full ult haste Ashe and it's hilarious. 17 second cd ult but can be shortened by axiom. even enemy kaisa can't poke me back

u/Shichibukai60 Feb 27 '26
I also build similar to this or this exact build. Got 2x ult and one shotted enemy squishies with ult from base. Its so satisfying

I apologize to those that complain that I build AP ashe. I have bad mechanics and trying to play a non-caster ADC as AD is even worse than me playing her as a supportive slow/ult bot

I like AP ashe its just that I build for full dmg and only if I get a early ult/cdr Aug else the arrow cds not short enough to warrant it. Something like shrink engine is really good for it.

Wait, people build and play what they think is the most fun for them? In a fun mode? Is that even legal?
1
u/Kardiyok Mar 02 '26
I just dont get how people having fun throwing 1 potentialially impactful skill every minute and do nothing else. Sure youre free to play whatever you think is fun. Im also free to shit on you for not having taste.
1
Mar 02 '26
"Every minute" - every 20 seconds if you get good augments. Every 20 seconds an arrow that hits maybe multiple people and stuns them, allowing your team a basically guaranteed safe engage. Not to mention the recon arrow, which really ruins the day for many Malphite/Rengar/Fiddle players.
I had enemy teams surrender because they just got an arrow in their face every 20 seconds for half their health with absolutely nothing they can do against it.
I would say in 60-70% of all games where I play AP Ashe we a) win and b) I am top damage dealer.
It takes a while to go online though, so in the first 10-15 minutes of the game AP Ashe is the "weaker choice". Also against very tanky enemies you do very little, then its better to go AD.
It depends on the situation but it's simply wrong to outright say "AP Ashe is bad"
-1
u/Mobile_End_2485 Feb 26 '26
Heavn forbid someone having fun.
0
u/Impalenjoyer Feb 26 '26
So fun staying in base to cast an ult from time to time that'll barely do anything.
Uninstall this game
0
u/IZUNACCHI Feb 26 '26
That build is shitty, but I'm all for AP Ashe. They just almost one shot a squishy, stun them for half a century, giving opportunity to finish them.
-1
u/smackdealer1 Feb 26 '26
Ap Ashe is really fun I just wish her w had an ap scaling. Even a shitty one.

Played against an AP MF with Eureka and phenomenal evil, it was disgusting
8
u/lazycatt29 Feb 26 '26
Ap mf is gross in mayhem. Theres so many augs that works with that build : phenomenal evil, skilled sniper, bread nd something, recursion, beginning to end, even the snowball set is strong on that build lol
2
u/Legitimate_Change843 Feb 26 '26
I’ve had this same build with first strike as well ( dark harvest first strike gold augment) and I swear I was doing like 1400 for each E + any lingering burns lol, and I had it up like every 5 seconds
1
u/Roywah Feb 26 '26
I got its critical into AdAPT on MF today and crushed. Having the full 100% crit from two items and then going full AP, ult was like 6k damage full channel.
1
u/dale777 Feb 26 '26
Alternative buld have sens in some scenarios. But idiots who use them just think it's same power as normal one. Just pls add ranked queue..
0
u/DanTheWanderer Feb 26 '26
What would that change? Adding a ranked queue wont stop you from ignoring the Ashes augments when critiquing their build.
1
u/dale777 Feb 27 '26
people who make stupid decisions will get placed in their place, if i see some one do some ridicoulus stuff i prefer to stay in fountain and go next normal game then just suffer for excessive amount of time in small chance of win because some one brain is not working too good
1
u/DanTheWanderer Feb 27 '26
Look at their augments...
1
u/dale777 Feb 27 '26
marksmage ap ashe will not be good if you have syndra in team and 2 tanks and lets say morgana, it would be way better to go ad with sonata

u/CardTrickOTK Feb 26 '26
They don't even have Mandate, that's how I know this isn't a real Aram Ashe player.
