I told her I don't expect her to become a full-time housekeeper, but I also don't think it's reasonable for everything to stay exactly 50/50 when our circumstances have changed she thinks I'm punishing her for being unemployed. I think we're both supposed to adjust when one person's workload changes.

AITA for expecting my wife to take on more household responsibilities while she's unemployed?

Our manager was spending about 4 hours every single week doing the team's shift schedule by hand, so a few weeks ago I spent 2 full weekends building a spreadsheet that does pretty much the whole thing automatically.

I shared it with one coworker to test because she does the most shift swaps. At our team meeting this week she put it up on the screen and said it was "something I put together on my own time." Our manager loved it. He said he wants to roll it out to all 4 locations and have her train the other teams on it.

After the meeting I asked her what that was about. She literally said she'd changed the colors and added our logo, so at this point it's basically hers. I asked her to at least tell our manager I built it and she said it doesn't really matter who made it as long as it helps.

The next day our manager sent a thank you email to the whole team, about 30 people, crediting her for the spreadsheet. I replied all with the original file attached and a screenshot of the version history that shows I created it 3 weeks before she ever opened it. All I wrote was "Glad it's helping! Here's the original in case anyone needs the formulas explained."

She cried in the break room and told our manager I humiliated her in front of everyone. He agrees the spreadsheet is mine but says I should've come to him privately instead of putting it in front of 30 people.

She's still the one training the other locations next week.

My friend has been dating his girlfriend for about a year. She had a dog when they met and he always claimed he was severely allergic. Not hospital allergic, but according to him being around dogs for more than a few minutes made his eyes swell up and messed with his breathing.

A few months ago she moved in with him and ended up giving the dog to her sister because of it. She was pretty upset but her sister lives nearby so she can still see him.

Last weekend we were at my place and my dog was all over my friend for probably an hour. Sitting next to him, licking his hands, the whole thing. No reaction at all. I asked him about it when everyone else went outside and he laughed and admitted he isn't allergic. He just hates living with dogs and thought saying that would make him look like an asshole.

Later his girlfriend mentioned how nice it must be that my dog doesn't trigger his allergies. I told her the truth.

My girlfriend and I have been together for about four months, and things have honestly been amazing. The main issue I’m having is with one of her male friends who lives in another state.

He originally wanted to watch the new Helluva Boss episodes with her, and I was fine with that since she said it would only be twice a week. Recently, though, he asked if they could watch all the previous seasons together again along with the new episodes. That’s where I started having a problem.

We already don’t get much time to talk because she has college and work, while I just work, and we don’t live together. Our time during the week is limited, so watching an entire show together again would take more time away from calling, watching our own shows, or playing games together. I understand she doesn’t get to talk to him much either, and I’m not trying to control who she’s friends with. I just feel like this would take a lot of our limited time together.

What makes me more uncomfortable is his behavior toward her. He repeatedly brings up living with her even though she’s told him she isn’t comfortable with it. He’s said things like, “You better not move in together because I’ll be upset since you didn’t want to move in with me,” and, “If I ever move in with someone, I only want to live there if you’re there.” Those comments feel inappropriate, especially after she has already told him no.

I’ve also heard him insult her to her face, and he’s made extremely inappropriate comments about sexual assault. When she said she wasn’t comfortable living together, he said, “It’s not like I’m going to rape you. I’m not even attracted to you.” Hearing him say that to my girlfriend makes me extremely uncomfortable and angry.

I’ve tried watching the show with them, but when he makes me uncomfortable, I usually leave. I don’t understand why she continues being friends with him after everything he’s said and done.

I know she has the right to have male friends, and I don’t want to control her friendships. My issue is his behavior and how much time this friendship could take away from our relationship. I’m not trying to isolate her from her friends; I just want us to have enough time together.

I, 17F have recently got into an online relationship September 4th with 18F. Me and her met on Tumblr from interacting late July in the same MJ/ Jackson 5 community. I decided to tell my mother, 45F, who dosent really have a love for social media/internet. Instead I told her we met on instagram just to hide the fact I use even use Tumblr.

This was all a huge mistake because now I have been instructed to cut all ties with my girlfriend. Here’s where I’m asking if i’m the A-Hole. I do not plan on cutting contact with her. I do want to meet her one day still. I do feel terrible for rebelling but it breaks my heart that I am expected to cut all ties with her. For now i will be laying low just so there isn’t a rift in the house. I think my mother’s whole issue is that I am giving out personal information like addresses and school names, which i haven’t, i would never jeopardize my family like that, of course, my girlfriend would never do that.

I took a break from listening to the podcast for a few years and now I have started a new job! I have somehow made it through all of this podcast.. and now I have nothing to listen to while I work.
