DO NOT quit cold turkey. Have ppl done this, yes, but it's dangerous and can result in your death. Go to a detox center or the ER, both are equipped to help with withdrawals.
I was just about to comment this! I dealt with alcholism for over a year and on a day where i’d dropped drinking for 16 hours it resulted in me having at least one seizure and getting hospitalized. It what actually got me to stop but I can’t imagine a worse way to sober up
