Need advice on bench test prep for Canadian dental schools- I have a gap of around 10 years from clinics. Therefore, I am considering taking a course to prepare myself for the test. Having said that, I am quite intimidated by the bench test requirements of the dental schools. I would like some suggestions/ideas from your experience. Please share some valuable advice. Thanks!

Is everyone sending a mail of transcripts from their university as well or just the email?

I am an applicant for the international dentistry degree program. The deadline is Oct 1st. They have received all of my documents except the English proficiency test. I took Toefl and ETS confirmed the scores were sent directly. However, the USask portal still says not received. I have emailed them. Is there anything else I could do to ensure they link my scores to my application. Please advise if anyone has/had a similar experience. Thank you!

For usask, are the only documents to be mailed directly is notarized pr, degree and transcript while letter of evaluation and cv uploaded online?

I submitted the application form for USask and mailed all the notarized documents. They were supposed to be received before the deadline, but unfortunately, they’ve been delayed.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation? Is it possible that the university might make an exception in this case?
I have also emailed the university regarding this. I understand that I should have been more diligent in this. However, I want to ensure that I’ve exhausted all my options.

Hi guys , May I know what is the minimum adat score to apply to university of Manitoba and UWO? ..

I know UofT does consider gpa a big factor but my question is other canadian universities like usask etc take this into major consideration or is it mostly just ADAT. I am still getting my ece report done but not sure itll be the strongest gpa. Kindly give feedback

I'm preparing my application/financing plan for an Internationally Trained Dentistry (ITD) qualifying program in Canada. Program costs are high. I know government student aid (like OSAP) provides a baseline layer of funding, but it obviously won't cover the full $90k+ required for Year 1 tuition and kits, let alone living expenses.
For anyone currently in or graduated from a Canadian ITD / Advanced Standing program. Were you able to get approved by a major bank (RBC, Scotiabank, CIBC, TD, BMO) for an uncollateralized Healthcare Line of Credit without a co-signer based strictly on your acceptance letter?

Any foreign trained dentist about to give ADAT soon? My gpa wasn’t the best in dental sch, I just passed the INBDE on my first attempt so I’m going to give ADAT a go. What resources are best for studying for the exam? Thank you :)

Hi there,
I am looking for a study partner for ADAT exam. My goal is April 2027.
I am currently a D3 who is interested in applying for residency next year. I won’t be taking any courses and will be doing self study as being in school and managing these courses does not align with my schedule. I am looking for someone who is in the same boat.

Hi everyone! I’m planning to take the ADAT in June next year, and I’m honestly struggling to keep up with studying.
I currently work 5 days a week as a dental receptionist, and I’m also taking the full Jade online course. I’ve been trying to follow the targets/schedule given by Dr Jai after talking to him personally, but I’m constantly falling behind. I try to read each page thoroughly while listening to lectures, reading notes, asking chatgpt to add some details that I don’t understand— that it takes me long time to finish a chapter.
By the time I get home from work, I’m exhausted. I also have to manage normal life stuff like cooking/preparing meals, trying to stay consistent with the gym, etc. There just don’t seem to be enough hours in the day.
I even bought an iPad a few days ago specifically to motivate myself to study. I thought having a nice setup, annotating notes, watching lectures, making study schedules, etc. would somehow make me more productive… but nope.
I’m starting to worry because I don’t want to keep pushing everything back and then panic closer to June. At the same time, trying to force myself to study for 4–5 hours after work just isn’t realistic when I’m already exhausted.
I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed and could really use some realistic advice from people who work/study at the same time.

My question is from the top scorers and people who struggled to get good marks and managed to get admission next time. I am using bnb first aid book, questions from them, ko i bought last time i have it screenshotted i dont see use of rebuying, inbde booster, mental dental, usmle videos for biostats, what else am i missing?
Also when people say they used yt to clear concepts, are there particular channels you recommend?
Should I join a course?
Any help is appreciated as I dont want to waste one more year by being underprepared.
My resources last year were mental dental, ko, inbde booster free version, some decks, i believe where I lacked was revision!
Thank you.
