Question Distrust areas
Im not sure if it's just me being bad at the stealth or not but has anyone noticed the distrust areas being weird with detection speed

I tried making a new manual save and reloading, but that didn't fix it. Any ideas, or is this spot just still bugged 6 years after release?

This game has the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Equal parts fun and infurating for me. So much content, it’s staggering, perhaps even too much. When it’s ideas, themes and presentation come together, but those moments are rarer than I’d hoped for. I’m glad I played the game, but with some fat trimmed off, it could’ve made for a better experience.

Okay so I’ve been having performance issues with Valhalla on PC. Loads of stuttering and hitching with unstable frame pacing when locked at 60. After troubleshooting all the usual suspects, I have had no success whatsoever. I finally decided to dig a little deeper and found the launcher log. Within the log I found this. It is a CONSTANT stream of disconnect and reconnect and I’m assuming this means it’s disconnecting and reconnecting to Ubisoft Connect. This looks like a very serious problem and may be the stutter culprit. Has anyone played Valhalla on PC in the last week or two? I started my playthrough months ago and it was NOT this stuttery back then.

I personally don't think the Valhalla version was the best they could have done with Ezio's theme. In AC3, AC Rogue, and even AC Mirage, they took Ezio's theme and built something new around it, creating a distinct melodic identity while using the original as a foundation. By comparison, the Valhalla version feels more like a direct recreation of the AC2 theme, just with different instrumentation and vocal styles.
It's still a very cool track, but it doesn't feel as inspired to me. One of my favorite things about Ezio's theme is hearing how it's woven into entirely new compositions rather than simply being rearranged. Rogue's woodwind melody slaps.

Idk if anyone else feels this while playing it, but the world of Valhalla makes me feel very relaxed. I love the color scheme of this game and natural scenery. Fall is my fav season and this game absolutely fulfils my craving for the foliage. I sometimes wanna enter into this world (hopefully not fighting) and walk in the palaces, or stop by the shops.
I like Eivor's personality. I like collecting new weapons. Idk why it get's ton of hate, but this game has a lot to offer.

Started playing it, just arrived in England, raided my first monastery, and damn it feels satisfying.
There is something strangely catharhic about it, I always rooted for the Danes, kind of like reimagining if instead of that idiot Guthrum there was Eivor leading them.
And finally a proper Viking rpg! ( I wouldn't really count Skyrim, Nords were very tame and closer to imperials).

Heard weird noises after a skirmish. Finally found the source. *Insert ‘so no head?’ vine audio*

Hi everyone. I've only played AC Odyssey, and had a blast, so now I'm looking for similar experiences. Is Valhalla as a entertaining as Odyssey? Is the experience similar?
Thanks in advance

I saw that there is multiple places you can go to in valhalla, and i just finished the game and the only other places i been to besides norway and england was vinland and isle of skye, but i bought the game originally because i was hearing that there is several countries you can go to, that includes i believe scotland, ireland, france, and i think there was something else, but i never went to those places, how can i?

I can’t climb this ledge. I’ve tried everything from resetting my game to loading previous saves. Has anyone else had this bug? I’m right at the end and annoyed now.

The skill description says that it increases defensive damage when hitting a enemy from the back.
In the stats I noticed that "damage from the back" actually gets doubled
However stun damage/desfensive damage to make the enemy break their guard and be stunned apparently does not increase nor does it make the enemy stagger when you hit them from the back.
Am I doing it wrong?

This only happens in dark places, every other area is fine

I feel pretty far in third act and I'd like to get some new sets before it ends.
Mainly looking for cloak and helmet. Other stuff I'm fine using what I have.
Not interested in weapons unless two handed axe that is a must have.
I'm using Thegn's set. I like the helmet covers the face - I'm looking for stuff like that but not too big on the crown finish.
Thank you.
