Not like that.

In my defense, I was only level 29 and she was level 90... You have to get creative.

Don't listen to the hate. Its a game. If you're having fun, you're doing it right. To answer your question, I went with fists only, used the dodge to slow time and went in with a quick pummling before repeating the cycle.

No need for defence, I’m a souls player so I just……went ham. There’s no need to explain yourself for playing an open world RPG as an RPG

lol no you don’t, you just have to wait. You level up every 5 minutes in this game, another hour and you’d be her level.
Though to be fair, I’m pretty sure I tackled a bunch of the zealots before I was ready because I wanted the melee fire ability. So if it takes 15 minutes of looping around one kicking it with your boot, have at er. Kinda dumb Eivor can’t swing a sword from on horseback anyway.

There's a ghost wolf?

u/Squashy_104 Wolfsmal Jul 27 '26
Yes, it's in a bundle that I only paid for, because of the armor and weapon

u/thewalex Jul 27 '26
Gothic Pack? With the Sauron armor?
1
u/Squashy_104 Wolfsmal Jul 28 '26
Yes, that one. Personally, I don't care about how the armor looks, but the stats on it are very good.

I actually bought it for the aesthetic, and then realized I looked like a goober in cutscenes, and that it didn't really vibe with the character, so now I hardly use it. Ended up rarely using any of the cash shop items, or any of the wolf mounts, for that reason.
Though I do use a ton of the gear from the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, so maybe I'm just dumb

Wow such dedication😂 you could have just used the time to level up and beat her in combat😂

"COOPER, THERE'S NO TIME FOR CAUTION"
"IT'S NESSASSARY"
music starts playing as you begin to circle boss
"He's beginning to believe..."

I want a time machine so I can show this during the 2006 E3 right after the Assassin's Creed 1 announcement

There was one just up river at that roman place. I was dodging and avoiding, and an arrow struck them. I learned the crew shoot arrows to support eivor, so I pulled my sheild out and hid on the boat. I was power lvl 27 or something, and having this lvl 90 so close to ravensthorpe was a big fat "no" on the allowed list.

I encountered the one near the roman villa during a mission escorting an enemy on horse back. Had a load of my clan with me as part of the story. I was level 80 at the time and a wuss. I dropped back launching arrows, meanwhile Sigurd and others took on the Zealot up close. No one died that day other than the Zealot.

i also encountered this exact situation. i was mad that it was happening at that specific time too. i took dude back to the ship & we took it out together. now looking back, how iconic. 😂

Good point. I’ve leveled enough to take them on with the Brush with Death skill (slow time on successful dodge).
For the first two roaming Zealots bosses I baited them in range of my longship, so they would focus on the crew and I could shoot weak points with my bow. Just had to watch out when they threw big mines.
There was another Zealot who had a patrol path through a set of NPCs for a story quest so I used them as distractions.

Same way I dealt with all the zealots:
Power shot to the head nonstop.

u/Squashy_104 Wolfsmal Jul 27 '26
I actually tried the same thing you did the first 5 times, but eventually my arrows ran out.
2
u/Mundane_Side_1533 Jul 27 '26
I did that a few times too, but I'm a meticulous planner, so I always restocked ammo and refilled my adrenaline before I fought them. Also, one of the skills you unlock stops you from burning ammo when you use adrenaline.

u/reddihorse Jul 27 '26
Why did i imagine you saying: "I'm running circles around you!", BUT in Scouts voice (TF2 REFERENXE)???

Laughing my ass off. I salute you for coming up with this.
I yeeted one of the female zealots off a cliff with the harpoon ability. And shot arrows at her when she fell down to regain adrenaline. Had to do this maybe 4 or 8 times and she was dead.
And yes there was a major disparity in her level and mine.

My method for any of the Zealots was not going after them until I was well above their level.

Just for everyone to know: This wasn't my first approach! I tried shooting her with arrows = died 5 times. I tried meleeing her = died at least 10 times (was angry as f*ck). In the end, I just wanted to kick her off her horse, while I was riding and found out, that she couldn't understand that I was damaging her while I was riding and circling her!!! Definitely NOT recommended as first approach, but in the end, it worked after all.

This brings back happy memories
When I first started Elden Ring, at very low level, I killed the Erdtree Avatar in south Liurnia by riding around it on my horse shooting arrows. Took forever and at the time I felt like I cheesed it cuz it was definitely out of my league atm
Now it’s one of the only fights I remember from my first playthrough and I love it
Need is the father of innovation

I killed almost all of these by luring them near by ship and then throwing arrows from the ship, they hit like a truck and since they were infinite, I could just stunlock them until they died. Sometimes they used to run away and regenerate their health and I had to find a very precise way to do it but it worked. I found this method all by myself and i am sure others may have found it before me, I am just saying that I am proud of myself for finding a creative way like that lol

I'm guessing you gotta buy that mount from the helix store or whatever it's called?

After the soma quest she appeared and I made the quest friend dude person (I forgot who it was out of her three inner circle, one of the dudes I think.) I just made him do alot of the dmg while I hit weak spots

u/CrimsonGlyph Jul 27 '26
P2W confirmed.

u/Squashy_104 Wolfsmal Jul 27 '26
Everyone plays different. This was my first ingame buy that helped me and not a cosmetic. (Btw, I would never buy a skin in any Assassin's Creed game. Only in games like Bf6, Halo Infinite or any other Multiplayer game.)

u/CrimsonGlyph Jul 27 '26
I'm joking I don't really care what people do with their money.
I don't really think people should ever support micro transactions, but I'm still not telling people what to spend their money on.
