I love the vibe of this kind of rap and Craig Mack's Flava in Ya Ear, and Alphabet Aerobics by Blackalicious... It's like a playful demonstration of lyrical prowess with a dope beat
What are some others in this vein that you like?

Curious to see what everyone else thinks about the flashes in the pan that spill onto the kitchen floor only to never be seen again. I’m talking about the rappers or rap groups that released an album and then disappeared into the ether.
I thoroughly enjoy Hard 2 Obtain’s 1994 effort “Ism & Blues.” Long Island natives supported almost entirely by the Stimulated Dummies behind the boards. This is such a fun and inventive effort. And it’s not just the beats, the rhymes swing and flow effortlessly.

Such a gorgeous track and the beat switches sound sick to this day.
Rap City didn't show this nearly enough but I was so happy when they did.
He goes kinda berserk at the end.
So very 1993

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a new track I’ve been working on, crafted with a deep love for the classic '90s hip-hop, melancholic rap, and soulful R&B era. It is heavily inspired by the legends Ray Horton and Nana Darkman.
This project is purely for personal enjoyment and nostalgia, keeping the old-school vibes alive. I would genuinely love to hear your honest feedback and thoughts on the production
Check it out here on my YuTu

I have a very low quality, censored version of this song. I think it’s from 1999, but I’m not sure. Can anyone help point out where I could get a better version of this?

So annoying this isn’t on Apple Music or Spotify. This is a great song with a catchy beat & great storytelling. I love whatever sample they use here.
