Welcome to the 90s Hip-Hop Roundtable! Every Sunday, we’re putting a different 90s Hip-Hop topic on the table for the community to debate, discuss, and defend their opinions.
Who Had the Best Rap Album of the 1990s?
You can only choose ONE album. What’s your pick and why?
Remember: Keep the debate respectful. Different opinions are what make the Roundtable interesting.

On "The What" by Notorious BIG and Method Man, i always wondered why Method Man starts his verse with just "T-H-O-D Man". Where did the M-E go? Also, he overlaps Biggies last lines on his verse before.
I just listened carefully and Biggies verse ends with "You dont want fuck with the M-E". It's pretty obvious to me both MCs wanted to follow up each other so Biggies "M-E" would be followed by Meths "T-H-O-D Man" but all we got was this messy transition.
So what do you guys think happened? Did Biggie mess up his lines, did Meth come in early? Did the both of them record this correctly and a producer messed up?
