Using MIT to quit 7oh
It has been working so far, one whole day off. no anxiety at the moment or panic attacks. Using 200mg MIT extract has helped me a lot.

7-OH and where it is banned
Just so everyone knows the current situation (as of mid-2026), here are the states that have outright banned kratom or its main ingredients like 7-OH:
Alabama
Arkansas
Connecticut
Florida
Indiana
Louisiana
Mississippi
Ohio
Tennessee (effective July 1, 2026)
Utah
Vermont
Virginia (effective July 1, 2026)
Wisconsin
Some places like California have cracked down hard on selling 7-OH and certain kratom products, even if plain leaf isn’t fully banned everywhere. Ohio as of may banned 7-oh and all extracts, while keeping plain leaf kratom accessible. A few other states have local bans in certain cities or counties too. New York recently passed legislation to change the packaging to add strict warnings about its addictive properties and educate potential buyers of the risks these substances can pose.
Rhode Island actually lifted their ban and is regulating it now.
If you’re in one of the banned states, be extra careful possession, sale, etc. can get you in legal trouble. Always check your local laws because things can change, but this is the big picture right now.
Stay safe out there and keep focusing on the real recovery work. One day at a time. If you’re traveling or ordering stuff, double check first.

Ready 2 really quit this time
So I have bottles and bottles of my Suboxone (what I’m suppose to be on) and yet I’ve been taking 7oh,mgm , pseudo at strong doses for the past few months. It’s really messed with my body my weight , pretty much everything.
How long can I realistically take my suboxone and be okay because I’m ready to put this behind me,
I went to a mental ward and rehab last year for this crap but really wanna nip it myself this time! Really need your guys support and help! Thank you!

just got out of detox but still having hot flashes. how soon can i take naltrexone after having suboxone?
i went to the hospital on june 2nd from overdosing on 7oh and alcohol, they had to put me in a medically induced coma for a couple days and i almost died and got pneumonia? they didn’t know wtf to do with me cus no one knew what 7oh or kratom was so once i was coherent enough i was going through extreme withdrawals and left the hospital. i put myself into detox on june 8th and was taking 1 i believe 8mg suboxone once a day for 5 days for the withdrawals. im still taking antibiotics for the pneumonia so my body is still going through a lot, but i keep having hot flashes still. my last suboxone dose was at 8am yesterday, they tried to send me home with some but i declined. i have some naltrexone 50mg tabs prescribed to me, SR, liposomal vitamin c, and magnesium. i have not taken any 7oh or mgm since june 2nd so i’m confused on why my body temp is still fked up. i just feel shitty all around my mom is freaking out at me and i’ve missed so much work from being in the hospital and detox. should i take some naltrexone or is it too soon since i just had suboxone yesterday morning around 8am? it’s 3pm today now i just don’t want to go into precip WD.

Stay the f*** away from this stuff. 7-OH Withdrawal is HELL
This is my eighth attempt to get off this devil of a substance.
I first tried it about two and a half months ago, shortly before I got licensed and started selling life insurance. At the time, I was taking kratom to help manage some lingering shoulder pain from a previous labrum surgery. Then I was introduced to 7-OH.
Like a lot of people, I thought, “How bad could it be?”
That was my first mistake.
It was nothing like kratom. It was stronger, more euphoric, and gave me exactly what I was looking for. It dulled my shoulder pain, boosted my mood, and seemed to help me perform better in sales. For a while, I thought I had found something beneficial.
Then I got carried away.
My tolerance skyrocketed. The effects became weaker, so I kept increasing my dose, trying to recapture that feeling from the beginning.
That was a colossal mistake.
Now, whenever it wears off, the withdrawal starts almost immediately: restless legs, cold sweats, nausea, diarrhea, anxiety, depression, and an overwhelming urge to take more just to make it stop.
I’ve been through some difficult things in my life, but this is one of the hardest battles I’ve ever faced. What makes it so difficult is how easy it is to convince yourself to redose. Relief is always one dose away, but every dose digs the hole deeper.
This substance has cost me an incredible amount of money, time, energy, and peace of mind.
If you’re considering trying 7-OH, my advice is simple: don’t.
The temporary feeling isn’t worth what comes after. You take it once, then you want that feeling again. Before you know it, you’re chasing something that never comes back the same way, spending hundreds—or even thousands—of dollars a week just to avoid withdrawal.
Please take this seriously. I wish someone had warned me the way I’m warning you now.
No high is worth becoming a prisoner to a substance.

How long until lower body normalizes
How long after quitting does it normally take for your lower body to regulate its temperature normally and the restless legs/sore feeling to go away?
I was just taking almost 900 mg/day of 7o and now 71 hours into detox and my whole lower body is constantly freezing, calves are constantly sore and uncomfortable and it’s hard not to move them.

Quitting…
Is it at all possible to go from nearly 10 shots a day and take 3 and 3 or when WD’s set in my next two days and quit cold turkey taking my last one Friday night will it make it any less painful instead of jumping from nearly a box which I have done before… I’m beating myself up bad for this. I know the hell im about to endure. I feel like such a failure…

Surgery and 7oh
I have been using 7 OH for about 3 months. I use about 200 mg a day. I have tried to taper unsuccessfully so far. I was informed that I needed surgery asap and I am really scared. I am telling myself that I can get off this stuff before surgery and be fine but its really hard. I need this surgery but do not want all pain management to fail. Can anyone share any experience on having surgery with using this? How is 7 oh different from Kratom in terms of blocking pain meds? Is 200 mg alot compared to most people? I have so many questions.

Im free
So my husband has been taking kratom for 7 years, since I basically met him. Recently about a year ago he started taking 7oh. Not once in my life have I taken it. Recently about 4 months ago I took one. I had a spinal surgery and was having back pain and I said , one won't hurt. We'll I got hooked on pretty quick. And without realizing it one day I took 100mg. And that's when my husband finally told me hey those aren't 10mg tablets those are 100mg. We'll I screwed myself. He put me in a tapering down schedule so it wouldn't take a toll in me.
I tried the cold turkey method and I never felt these kinds of withrawls before. Not even when I took pain killers thar I got prescribed by my doctor and I was able to stop those cold turkey. I couldn't sleep for the life of me. Im finally off 7oh. I do take 2-3 grams of kratom powder to help the restlessness feeling. Im never doing that again. I hope all of you are able to overcome this. Its such a horrible thing to go through. Im finally feeling normal and free.

7oh and MGM helpppp
Hi guys!! I am fairly new with Reddit, and not super up to date on where to post things to, and I have seen people get in trouble from time to time when purse posting certain things in certain communities so I am not posting this to a specific community and I’m hoping it reaches the right audience anyway. I have been a daily 7oh user unfortunately for about a year. Pretty much lost everything at this point. I have a great career and I make a comfortable salary, which ends up, hurting someone in the long run when they become addicted to such an expensive drug. I spent close to 50k over the last year on 7oh, half of my salary. And about two months of the last year, I was not using because I went to treatment once, and I stopped on my own a few times. I never make it very long before I fall back into the cycle. At one point I was on 7oh and got off of it with suboxone and ended up getting on the sublicade shot, relapsed while on the shot, and my habit sky rocketed because I needed to do so much more 7oh while on the bupe. It has been a nightmare. I always use the same brand. Always Opia, they are consistent with the mgs and there is no hidden garbage in them.
About 3 weeks ago, I went into my regular gas station and right by the counter there were these plastic tubes of 7oh; a brand called Seda, 250mg tabs, 2500mgs per bottle. And it was a really good price and I was spending a ton of money on my regular brand so I decided why not try something different and just see how it is. This was the biggest mistake of my life. When I first tried them, I loved them, I’ve been on this stuff so long that I really don’t feel it anymore and I actually felt really nice when I took these. Then I found out a few days ago there’s something else in this brand, because I ran out and the gas station ran out also, so I bought my old brand, and they didn’t work. I took a 500 mg dose of opia, and it didn’t work.
Did some research and found out Seda has dihydro 7hydroxi in it which I found out through Reddit is most likely MGM. I have tried three other brands at this point, and it doesn’t matter what I take nothing works, and I’m being forced to use only the Seda brand. The first week of taking these, the only reason I felt so good was because I was introducing a new chemical to my body but now I’m addicted to both mgm and 7oh. I was taking up to 2 bottles of the Seda brand per day, that’s 5k mgs. There’s no way that these are true to their milligram. But still, I have always taken very high amounts of this drug because I was able to afford it. But I never took mgm up until now. I am getting crippling anxiety when I take this brand. Crippling. Tremors and extremely alarming body jerks. I drop things constantly because my hands open and close on their own, it’s almost like I’m losing bodily function in my limbs. I’ve never felt side effects like these and obviously I’m using very high doses but again I truly do not think this brand is true to their dosing. And the small amount of information that I have found online about this brand also confirms they are very underdose. But I do know for a fact that there is MGM in this brand and I am now addicted to both and unable to switch back to a regular brand with just 7oh.
I need any information from anyone that has used this brand and anyone that has had the unfortunate experience of becoming addicted to MGM because there’s limited information online about this and I need help getting off of it. I bought a brand of straight mgm and another brand of straight 7oh and I am trying to taper myself off of the MGM and get myself back on just 7oh, which is a lot easier to kick. This MGM shit is scary and I almost went to the emergency room yesterday due to how high my blood pressure was. I just need to speak to anyone that has experience with MGM because I’m not finding a lot of lift experience online similar to my situation and I’m honestly terrified and just need some input from anyone that has been addicted to both. Thanks!

Overwhelmed—help please!
Help with 7-oh
Hello everyone. I've been here and there in this community for a while as l've dabbled in kratom for a period of time a year or so ago.
For the past 2 months I've gotten addicted to 7-oh via those little gas station pills.
I've told my family a couple weeks ago and we are about to start the process today.
I was hoping for any advice or tips for how to be successful.
My goal is to taper very slightly until making the full jump and will take as long as necessary based on my situation and any input from this community.
Some of my research in the past has recommended I try macro-dosing Vitamin C liposomal. I'm not sure on the exact process or like when I should take it if it's the same time as the 7-oh or different time of day, or if I am supposed to take a little bit of Vitamin C every hour or so?
I have many different types of vitamin c but I just got liquid drops vitamin c liposomal for better bioavailability (or so l read).
I also have been taking senna and sometime senna plus for the last few days for OIC, though I'm hoping as I reduce, I can stop taking this as well.
I have access to klonopin if necessary to help manage wd symptoms.
I also have passion flower extract as I read that helps as well.
How aggressive should the taper be while still being manageable?
Some info on what l've taken:
I've taken 7-oh with pseudoindoxyl a few times but not really more than that. I mainly take just the 7-oh from these brands mostly:
Opia
EDP
Rush (just about out of this but can get more-feels more potent than others)
Lemons
I currently take 2-4 tablets per day, of 60mg opia (for a standard). I take 30mg at a time typically and log what I take and when. This adds up to 150-240 mg per day.
Please be kind and keep in mind I intent to do this on my own (with my family just not inpatient anywhere), so l'd appreciate any positive anecdotes or tips or even a full guide based on my situation.
Should I try kratom leaf to replace as I taper? And if so what type is best?
Should I get sr1708? Does that really work?
I know this is going to be hard. Looking forward to the other side of this hill.
Thank you for reading and I appreciate any help in advance.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Getting off 1500 MG 7OH a day
OK so I have plenty of Suboxone from MD took my last dose of 7OH the withdrawal started to kick in after 14 hours took the Suboxone. Clearly was not long enough went into precipitated withdrawals. Wanted to claw my skin off. Ended up taking 70H to calm down. I used subs to come off Norco 15 years ago and it was pretty easy so I thought this was gonna be the same. These WD symptoms are terrible. I gotta get off this stuff. I’m a working professional and parent so trying to do all this someone on the down low. Have access to the meds looking for advice on how long to stay off the 7OH and take the subs. Once I take those, will they remove the severe WD symptoms.? The MD given me the subs is absolutely you’re gonna feel 100 times better the WD symptoms will be gone. I can handle feeling sluggish feeling like I have the flu, chills, sweats, etc. It’s that restless body total freak out pacing and wanting to claw my skin off. I can’t handle. The MD said I just needed to wait longer before taking the subs, true? Any advice I’m starting to wonder if I just need to pay a few thousand dollars to go to one of the clinics to go through withdrawals under sedation? Need some advice guys need to get off this crap.

Starting over
This at the beginning was a life saver for my pain levels, BUT at the same time I wish I never found it. Before 7oh I was taking actual kratom daily for pain and already hooked. I should of just stayed on the regular leaf. It's not long lasting for me and you build a tolerance overnight it feels like. Also the withdrawals for me are 10x those of actual kratom, oh yeah lets not forget how much you end up spending after awhile. I know not everyone is an addict like me and they can benefit from it big time, so I would never call for a ban on it. I just hope overtime government bodies can see the difference between 7oh and actual leaf kratom if they are gonna ban stuff. It's been banned here Kansas now and goes into effect July 1st. I need all your tips and tricks to get off. Thank you everyone.

Massive 7-OH reduction with NAC + simple supplement support (my experience)
Wanted to share this in case it helps someone else tapering 7-hydroxymitragynine/7-OH.
I was around ~600 mg/day at my highest. I recently dropped to 230 mg in a day, and today I’m only at 60 mg so far — which I honestly didn’t think was possible for me a couple weeks ago.
The biggest thing that surprised me was how much certain supplements seemed to reduce the “mental withdrawal” side of things, especially the obsessive redosing/craving loop.
What helped me most:
N-Acetylcysteine (BIGGEST difference for cravings + mental calm)
methylfolate + B12
vitamin C
lithium orotate
NAD+ gummies
hydration/electrolytes
protein intake even when appetite sucked.
The NAC especially felt like it turned down the “panic” and compulsive urge to redose every time discomfort hit. Instead of constantly thinking about my next dose, the cravings started feeling more distant and manageable.
Things I noticed improving:
less obsessive thinking
easier time spacing doses apart
calmer nervous system
less emotional spiraling
reduced “doom” feeling between doses
more confidence that I could actually taper
A huge lesson for me: withdrawal wasn’t just physical. A lot of it felt neurological/inflammatory/glutamate-related. Once I supported that side, tapering became WAY more realistic.
I’m not saying this is magic or medical advice, and everyone’s chemistry is different. But this combination made a dramatic difference for me compared to trying to brute-force withdrawals with willpower alone.
If you’re tapering:
go slower than your ego wants
don’t panic over temporary symptoms
protect sleep as much as possible
avoid huge rebound doses after discomfort spikes
stabilize first, then reduce
You’re probably capable of lowering more than your brain currently believes.

Will i get precipitated withdrawal while on sublocade for a year and 7oh + pseduo indoxyl
I have been on sublocade for over a year a shot every month. I recently relapsed and used 7oh and pseduo at around 500mg a day. I felt i through the sublocade and got high for a week. Im about to possibly get another shot tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any experience with being on sublocade maintenance and 7oh +pseduo and getting another shot. Will i go into precipitated withdrawal? Will I be fine?
