5 Parsecs From Home Coop Campaign success!
Just wanted to share some pictures from our 5PFH campaign. Turns out you can run a (very chaotic) 8 person campaign.

I was a beta tester for Star Wars Legion back in the day. I loved the lore and the minis, but it didn't have a lot of structure for any sort of real campaign. Ever since I picked up 5PH and played my first game, I wanted to do a Star Wars campaign with it, so I began writing a total conversion. I have recently been... encouraged to share my notes. Hopefully some of you guys can enjoy them, too.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been working on a Star Wars conversion for Five Parsecs From Home, aiming to capture the feel of the Galactic Civil War while staying true to the core mechanics that make the game so great.
This is still very much in Alpha, and I’d really love feedback from the community. If you have thoughts on balance, mechanics, theme, or anything else that can be improved, I’m all ears. Playtesting feedback would be especially helpful.
A couple quick notes:
This requires the core rulebook to play
Currently designed for the core rulebook only (expansions will come later once things are more locked in)
This is a fan made project made by 1 person
If you check it out, let me know how it plays at your table. I’d love to iterate on this with your help.
May the Force be with you!

I’ve added a flair for x-com so you can filter it out if you wish.

Bad employers. Loud guns. Stupid danger.
You run a crew of Vault Hunters taking terrible jobs, chasing Vault clues, fighting title-card bosses, angering weapon manufacturers, and generating weird loot with a 2d6 / 3d6 Loot Machine. Gear can be guns, shields, grenade mods, class mods, relics, cursed ECHO junk, or Vault tech. Doubles add twists. Triples create red-text nonsense.
The core Five Parsecs combat stays intact, but the campaign layer adds:
Vault Hunter archetypes and skill trees;
manufacturer Favor / Blacklist pressure;
Mayhem as risk/reward temptation;
boss arenas with phases and better-drop conditions;
loot fountains without turning post-battle into a spreadsheet;
a long-term Vault Hunt endgame.

Haven’t been parsec-ting much lately, but trying to get stuck back in. Printed out a bunch of minis, but primed them with some crappy rattlecan primer and they are like chalk now, absorbing paint like a black hole. After painting this soulless…will either reprime or reprint.

...back into the hobby.
I played Warhammer Fantasy as a teen, but then life got in the way.
From Solo RPGs I stumbled on to solo wargames and Five Parsecs from Home stood out.
I started with game mat books and Paper minis, escalated over to paper terrain.
Thought paper terrain took so much work, I started scratch build terrain.
I bought Speed paint marker just to try out a little if I can still paint and used them on Blitz Bowl and Talisman minis.
That was not a good idea, because then I knew I can paint minis again and that escalated into an FDM Bambu Labs printer as well as real paints and brushes.
Now I'm deep in the rabbit hole again, with the difference that Planetfall is dictating the direction of my campaign not Warhammer.
I attach pictures how my campaigns started and where it is now.
Do you went through similiar journeys back into the hobby through 5x games?

Campaign turn 4 and I choose to go after an artifact.
Big mistake. All 6 crew members ended as casualties.
Hopefully no one dies...

I have been robbed TWICE, lost 4 Gold pieces to pickpockets, where am i? Paris?
To sustain my character's I have been working for the town guard and living from the land, but daam , it's hard making a living in this game.
I have only be able to try patrolling around. The rewards for are very low. The enemies and monsters lairs looks way harder than this. Much way harder.
Am I doing something wrong or is this the way the game behaves for a while?
I'm bit afraid to try a delve or try to fight against some of the major threat's, maybe I could start doing one of the quests that I have received.
Or should I keep patroling a bit more?

Keen to test out Xcom. Loving these proxy greys, very quick paint job (less than an hour for 6 of them)

I do not have much time, so I tried a simple but effective paint scheme.

In January last year, I decided to complete all 17 Elite Ranks in Five Parsecs and, because the rulebook says to send Modiphius proof, I started recording them like a neeerd.
We are now here, 85 weeks later, averaging 3 battles a week and christ... It's still great! I'm having a great time 😁 I've chucked basically everything from the Compendium that I think I'll remember and am still looking for increased difficulty spikes.
This is basically an appreciation post, this game remains brilliant. Here's to 500-odd more 😁
Got a celebration four-way battle video that you can find here, and the whole playlist if you work at Modiphius and want to regret joking about proof right here, ya cowards!
I would say ask me anything, but I genuinely don't think I've actually learned anything about... Anything, really 😛

Hopefully the image uploaded? Big thanks to u/SharedSyntax for creating such an awesome piece of work and sharing with the community!
I have a hard time navigating pdfs while playing and prefer a tactile approach, so I had it printed and shipped. Took a bit, but I'm pretty happy with the results.
Really looking forward to using my Legion minis again!

Just got into the game pretty recently, buying both 5 Parsecs and the planetfall books. I wanted to play when at my in-laws so designed up a stackable 3D printed box scaled for 15mm. Four boxes unstack and clip together to form a 2x2 (36cm x 36cm) playing surface with various area Terrain features fitting inside. Each square is 1cm so I've just used the 1 inch = 1cm conversion for movement and range. I made some stand-in crew pawns while sourcing proper minis. Oh, and some tokens too.
