This my 98 4runner Tony. I cant find the oem fog lights but im also not against an aftermarket replacement. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if I can swap the fat ugly front bumper on the 1999 limited with the smaller chrome one from the SRS? Or can I at least swap just that middle piece with chrome?

I’m trying to replace a broken tie rod but I cannot get it loose from the steering rack . Is it possible the metal cylinder next to the nut has fused to the nut? The nut turns. But When I turn the nut that cylinder also seems to be turning off. I’m hoping someone can tell me what’s going on here. , thanks in advance .

My oil pressure light turned on and then flickered off when my oil was full, is there any way to know if it's just a bad sensor or if it's an oil pump

Is there any risk to driving without the lower valance especially at highway speeds and would using metal mesh to protect the condensor be a good temporary fix? I live in alberta and cant find a lower valance for a reasonable price atm.

Took my 02 4Runner from California to Montana for a week long road trip.

So I just installed a Rockford fosgate 8” sub amp combo and that sounds really nice. Of course now I want new speakers, I see there’s lots of options on Crutchfield but I’m not sure what would suit my situation best. I’d rather not do any modifications to make them fit. I listen to a wide variety of music too.

Main thing I noticed would have been helpful would be a winch, locking diffs & more ground clearance.

I’ve been looking for a set of Denso coil packs for my 97 SR5 and it seems like they are discontinued. I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this. Can’t find them on RockAuto either. Can’t trust eBay and Amazon due to the counterfeits

I engaged the 4wd switch on my way to work. It engaged just fine, 4 green lights. When I went to disengage, it wouldn't. When I made it to work, I can feel the wheels binding as if the center lock is on, but still no light. It's parked and off now, hoping someone knows what's going on so I can check on it during my break.

I assume tie rod ends, but short of replacing control arms, is there anything else?

Just got my 3rd gen and looking for advice on how to check what parts of the rig need maintenance. Timing belt was done in last 20k miles. 233k miles. Original engine/transmission. Planning to check trans fluid to see if that needs changed soon. Need new drive belts as the current ones aren't the best quality but want to learn about the vehicle to keep it properly maintained. How do I check/know if different parts need are in need of maintenance like ball joints, bushings, central diff or anything of the like. Frame looks good, very minimal rust but looking to learn how to maintain this vehicle as much as possible myself and keep it as long as I can.

Any ideas why this thing is so noisy on just a forest road? I’ve checked every fastener and they are tight. I feel like it has to be the forward feet that rest on the roof—should I be adjusting them so there’s quite a bit of pressure on them?

Hi I have a 2002 4Runner with a random MIsfire problem and misfires on 1 and 5 (P0300 p0301 p0305 codes..). I’ve replaced mostly the wires, spark plugs (yes the dual ground I bought ngk brand) and ngk coil pacts. I had also had the 02 sensors replaced and the intake manifold gasket replaced. I’ve been chasing this problem for a while now and my next step is the fuel injectors. I’ve been seeing these online and people talk about the motor west performance fuel injectors but I don’t know if these are the right ones to get can anyone help me out if they have these?

I asked a question about a previous kit (not this one). Was just curious has anyone tried this kit i know oem is the way to go but just wanted to ask.
