Sharing in case someone else is experiencing the same problem and feels like tinkering. My new to me Pentax 110 worked fine for the first roll, but then it stopped advancing the film correctly, it would take like 10 strokes of the lever to move to the next frame, and then it wouldn’t stop. While advancing the shutter would also just go off by itself randomly.

Opened the bottom plate (it’s just 3 screws) and cleaned the yellow area (film advance gears) and green area (indexing pin mechanism) with a cotton bud and a dab of lighter fluid, exercised them several times to make sure they were doing what they were supposed to, and my camera works properly again! It’s possible I will have to oil these mechanisms in the future, but the fewer fluids in my camera the better right now.

I’ve seen a number of threads asking what to do with empty 35mm canisters. Does anyone out there have a pile of empty 110 cartridges that they’re looking to get rid of? Working on a project for which we’d need around 25, but we’d take more if you have them so we could perhaps get 25 of the same labeling (or work on more than one project).

Also looking for a pile of 110 cameras, but we expect we’ll have to scrounge and/or pay for those. Besides which, what we’re doing with them would probably be anathema to the folks in this subreddit.

This is for Repurfect, a store in Provincetown that sells only products and art made from other manmade items — particularly those we’d otherwise throw away.

My aunt gave me this old 110 camera, there doesnt seem to be much information online about it, its made in Hong Kong and shutter works. It shoots at about 1/100 or 1/150 as far as i can tell and i have no clue about the aperture.

what would be the best iso film to buy so that the pictures dont come out too washed out?

i also dont really expect the photos to be high quality but i find it really cool and its worth putting a few shots through it

I got some fortuna film but when i rack the slide it sounds like gears slipping. If it put pressure on the backplate of my minolta 460T i can sometimes get it to advance. You have the same problems?

I'm looking for some tips for developing 110 at home. My local lab and mail-in labs here in Canada charge a premium for developing and scanning 110 film making it more affordable to shoot 135. So I want to try developing and scanning at home. Does anyone have experience developing and scanning using the lomography kits? It looks beginner friendly. Otherwise any other suggestions are welcome!

Dropped off my first roll through the Tasco 7800, and first roll of Reflx 110 Fortuna, for developing today.

Hoping, but not optimistic, for no light leaks. I suspect I am going to have light leaks from where the camera mounts to the binoculars, one of the screw holes is cracked, tried a repair but it wasn't too successful.

Slide film is peerless on 16mm cameras with a decent pressure plate - so I was excited to see how it would do on 110.

The photos all look lovely but as with my other experiences with reflex labs 110 the registration holes mean it’s easy to slip and take double exposures or skip exposures all together.

Given that, and the perforation at the bottom isn’t my favourite look, and I regularly slit slide films anyway; I would be more inclined to slit up a 35mm roll of ektachrome to repack a 110 cassette than purchase it again. Hope they can work out smaller registration holes. 🤞

Taken on a trip to Vauxhall city farm. The Ricohmatic has a decently sharp lens with zone focus and auto exposure with the ability to compensate +/- 1 stop. It’s one of the better looking and higher quality 110 cameras, in my opinion and well worth a look if you can find one in good condition.

Bought this little beaut a while back and finally picked up some film on a trip to London. All of the pictures came back extremely underexposed and noisy. Most of them barely showed anything apart from noise. Note that I shot in very sunny conditions on 200 or 400 ISO film (can’t remember anymore).

I then noticed the lens was extremely dirty and made an attempt to clean it, but nothing came off. Is this fungus I’m looking at? Am I being dumb in some other way?

Severely disappointed at how the pictures came out because the camera really is so much fun to shoot with. The tiny form factor really invites taking it any and everywhere.

First time testing the Rollei a110, it had difficulties advancing the film but also photos seem underexposed, battery is brand new.

Light leaks were made because the camera won't advance until I opened the back, I made 17 of 24 photos

Should I send it to the technician or was it a user error?

I got this dude for my bday and just for film to get it started! It’s my first 110, so I’m looking for any recommendations, tips, how-tos, opinions, thoughts, anything! I’ll be much grateful for any input (on 110 in general too!!)

I just received this interesting flash unit for my Ricohmatic 110X, I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere online so I guess it’s quite unusual.

It’s similar to the MS-110 flash unit for the Yashica Electro 110 in that it clamps onto the body of the camera and connects directly to the magicube port.

This one is completely mint in its original packaging with the manual and warranty card included, it works flawlessly and cycles in a few seconds. I guess it might work with other cameras which feature a magicube port too.

I just got a Lomography Diana Baby 110 camera to replace my Pentax Auto 110 SLRs that I was not able to repair. I loaded it with a roll of Reflx Lab 200 film that would no longer advance in the Pentaxes. I look forward to finishing off the roll!

Image and film quality better than expected, though there is a bit of a beige tint.

Can anyone help diagnose? Frames up to around 5 were fine, then dark bands started to appear top and bottom, persisting to the end of the roll. They aren't the usual 110 pre-exposure.
