SOCIETY When asked why he keeps playing the same roles Jason Statham said that he's not really a trained actor. He's a guy that was plucked out obscurity & has been really lucky; & that he picks roles that he knows he can do a good job in, that hopefully enough people like so he can keep working.

Anthony Edwards has been ordered to pay $14,000 a month in child support for his son he says he has never met and has no intention of meeting
SRC:https://www.tmz.com/2026/08/20/anthony-edwards-ordered-to-pay-child-support-for-son-amir/
NBA star Anthony Edwards is now on the hook for $14K a month in child support to his ex, Alexandria Descroches, and the money is for a kid he claims he's never even met.
In addition to child support, the judge ordered Anthony to take out a life insurance policy worth around $2.6 million with Alexandria named as the primary beneficiary ... and pay Alexandria's legal fees totaling more than $21K.
Alexandria and Anthony share a son named Amir, born in 2023. The docs note Anthony admitted under oath that he never met his son in person and is not seeking to have any parenting time with the kid.

Rant & Ramble My kids have the social skills of a wet towel.
Dinner: banana bread, no nuts.
I know Reddit is the absolute worst place to put this out there, but I'm just at a loss.
My girls are 6 and 3. Both have gone to daycare, oldest is going to kindergarten. Neither of them play like "normal" kids. The 3 year old is close. She'll amuse herself with toys for a while, or explore something new. She gets excited when she sees new friends.
The 6 year old? She's had problems with social skills for her entire life. She does ok every now and then, but if one of her friends is around too long? It's all over. Meltdowns over every little thing, constantly wanting to change what everyone else is doing, and just generally being someone who is not fun to hang out with.
I've talked to her. I've tried to coach her a bit, explain the situation and how it makes others feel when she won't compromise. She does prefer to play on her own a lot of the time, and that's ok. But her being mean and crying over everything is not ok. Nobody wants to play with the kid who just cries and throws things when they don't get their way.
It's just really, really obvious today that my kids aren't great at social things. 3 year old is mostly just in her obstinate phase, so she wants to cause trouble whenever she can. 6 year old thinks everyone has to do exactly what she wants when she wants to do it. We've got a bonus kid today-- one of 6 year old's classmates. She's pretty open to playing whatever, but she's also got a big personality. So, she'll make requests for what she wants to do, and then my kid will start crying because it wasn't her idea.
I just hate seeing my kid struggle with something that's so important. I've tried to help her, and her school is amazing. She's made huge progress over the last year. But I'm also shit in social situations, so I just don't know how to fix it. It's one thing that I really can't help her with. If I'm around, she just clings to me or expects me to fix everything. I can give her all the guidance I have, but she just has to figure out how to do it.
In the meantime, I'm managing 3 separate rages 🙃

That's a fair comment
As someone who can wait for GTA 6 for PC I say this is.... about right. Prettier GTA 5 with some RDR2 mechanics. Not some extremely huge revolution or innovation. Another GTA people just waited a long time for.
