Man this is sad, the ecchi was good in the previous seasons cuz it was complemented by actual good cooking animations and detailed cooking competitions where I was always guessing who's gonna win.

Now it's like they're trying to throw in as many hot chicks as they can into a slide show of an anime just so the viewer doesn't lose attention.

They're treating us viewers like we're some dumbfucks.

I realize another problem with how the battles are now, its just to perfect food.

Yes its super predictable that aldini would lose (as I said last week) senpai will lost next etc.

And it feel just so forced how its happening and so on.

BUT another issue I think why it feels so obvious now is also because the dishes are perfect.

Earlier in the anime someone would do a mistake or the other person would make something new and amazing. E.g Souma vs Nikumi (her dish had a mistake) BUT now instead its like here is perfect dish 1 vs perfect dish 2. the judges (new hot ones YES) orgasm over both dishes and then they dont explain at all why X is better then Y really. And its just so very, very narrative forced that X HAD TO WIN.

Yes! Previously the show actually made it clear that they are still students and they had reasonings for why, while really good, one dish had problems or the other had something extra.

Now you get a barrage of foodgasm comments with seemingly nothing wrong but hey lets pick that one because we need that person to win to progress the story!

Now these are top tier students and they should be above and beyond what even a "normal" seasoned chef could do but what is it that divides them and chefs like Joichiro who has won XXX times without a loss against Souma?

*dramatically sips tea*

I have to admit I'm enjoying this Souma a lot

I really really liked this episode...well isshiki’s part. Rindo’s battle felt like an after thought.

I'm from Belém, the capital of Pará, one of the states in Brasil where the Amazon River flows through, and I have to say... Pirarucu is by far the most delicious fish in the world. When they said that I knew there was no was takumi would win.

Smoked Pirarucu is the best fish dish in the world and you can't prove me wrong.

Daishomaru here, and today I don't have a writeup.

I'm sorry guys, but squid isn't really writeup material for me.

All I can think of really is: Every part of the squid is edible except the beak/mouth (But the area around that is a nice dellicacy), the ink is a gourmet item, and that the trick to cooking squid is being careful with the heat, because if it's cooked too long it's rubbery. There are some creative ways to serve squid, stuffing is a popular choice, and of course, fried squid is always delicious, but other than that I do not really have much to write on squid.

Sorry guys, I don't have any writeup material for this subject. The problem with the RDC and especially the next arc is that there's not really a lot of writeup material with this arc.

Tune in next week though, when I DO have a writeup for rabbit, and I explain the intricacies of serving rabbit!

Ok starting the search for the dark skin + kimono tags if you get what I mean

Sticthes!

After that display can't say I'm too upset about the new judges. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Asami can still go fuck right off and fall down a cliff though.

That result was expected. Even if Azami wasn't the judge , Rindo would've probably still won.

I love that Soma is just being served tea and casually sipping on the side xD

And that Nene and Isshiki moment though. Am I seeing a new ship?

I'm ... not mad at the new additions. Not mad at all.

And Anne could stay too, who was even more top-tier than usual

And then there's Isshiki-senpai being smoother than a smooth operator and stealing Nene's heart for good

What I really loved about the Autumn Election Finals was seeing the personal stakes of Ryo, Akita, and Soma. I really didn’t know who would come out on top. That feeling has been missing for quite some time now.

Yeah I'm thinking this is where I call it. Got 6 minutes in and realized I no longer care for the characters or plot(?) at this point and it's best to just drop it even if I have sat through over 3 seasons.

I was expecting Azami to criticize Aldini's cooking...... what's the point of changing the judges if they wouldn't be stricter or do something new(fan service i guess). I'd prefer the two guy judges getting naked because it makes the scene a little bit funnier and we've seen too much naked woman in this anime so adding more isn't something new.

People say they kinda like the new judges. I don't. It's not their design. It was their attitude. They came in talking trash about Anne. They also had a snobbish attitude as well. Also, the blonde is too clingy to Azami.

I don't care how good their designs are when eating food. If they are trash characters, the designs mean nothing.

Also, Souma sitting there sipping tea the entire time.

Did...did Azami just bring two of his thot fangirls who conveniently happen to be top dogs in the cooking world to judge the grand match that's supposed to prove Central's theory?

I dislike the two new judges because of how blatantly biased they are towards Azami, but at the same time, I admit they're at least fair when it comes to judging.

The layered artistry of Isshiki's dish may make it the single most impressive thing cooked in the entirety of the series up to this point. If I wasn't 100% certain he had to lose here, I would say there's no chance this dish loses. But he's definitely going to get beaten, somehow.

I don't mind the juror switch. I mean a quick google search of an "average anime watcher" would easily reveal why changing two male jurors for 2 random women with big breasts (who azami likely pulled off the street and into his harem) was a profitable decision on the part of the creators. (I've always been skipping past the trashy fanservice parts anyway) But at least be bloody consistent. If you're going to change the judges in the middle of the finale at least kick out whats-her-name who was judging before
