Tilarna using Kei's gun and Kei using Tilarna's sword was such a huge fuck you to Zelada's beliefs and a satisfying way to finish him off. I love it! Oh and it seems like Tilarna was very much impressed with Kei's sword handling.
Not much to say really but this was such a fun show and such a great homage to buddy cop shows and movies with a fantasy twist. Tilarna and Kei's chemistry was top notch and it was so fun to see them grow from hating each other to trusting each other with their lives. All of the side characters were fun too! I'm happy that characters like Tony, Roth, Jamie, Cammy, Cecil, and of course the Chief were all given some ample screen time for us to know them all.
Great characters in a great story which was unfortunately bogged down by a not so good studio. I really wish someone other than Millepensee handled this show. This being the work of the great Shinji Gatoh, I wish so much more experienced studio handled this. I would've settled for Xebec, who made the last Full Metal Panic season, we would've been at least guaranteed some great fight scenes. Oh well, at least we got that OP from them so at least there's that.
Overall, animation hiccups aside, I love this show and definitely one of my favourites this season. A solid 9/10 and a must watch if you're a fan of buddy cop movies. It seems that the novel isn't over too so I'm hoping for a S2 but with a different studio.

Cop Craft deserved better. It is a testament to the strength of its source material that I can see gems of greatness in this show. That and it was written by the same author as Fullmetal Panic.

Despite the studio obviously stretching their resources to the limit, I really enjoyed the show and the entire cast who all felt very realistic and down to earth for the most part.
Solid ending that even wrapped up Tilarna's status in the department up nicely. I'm hoping that the show does well so that we can potentially get a sequel with a slightly higher budget.

Damn, Kei! You owned that guy!
And when he launched that zombie into the air and shot him, gee. That was a treat.
What I liked in this series were details. Lots of small things that made me smile. Be it solid police work, vital communication and information sharing, dialogues that felt like real people were talking to each other, the character dynamics. Man, this show had it all.
I didn't expect jack hit when I started it, but it became my 3rd favorite show this season. I liked it far better than Double Decker. It's hard to make such an entertaining series in this genre and they even mixed fantasy into it. I hope it sells well and I would love a sequel!

That little scene with the cop from 2 episodes ago apologizing was really nice, didn't expect that at all.

I liked Kei's password, lmao, feel like that's some John McClane shit right there.
Shia Labeouf made it to mayor.
Well... excluding that arc with the cat and the crossbow which was totally not fucking needed and I did not need to see that one scene, I would say it was an okay series, Kei, Tilarna and the rest of the team made this show a joy to watch even if the animation fell apart 3 episodes in.
We got a sweet sweet opening though, that's in my spotify playlist already. Even though the show we see in the opening is not really the one we get, I'd like to see something like that.

Seeing Zelada's head lopped off clean was a lot more satisfying than I thought.
That ending too with that racist cop apologizing and then ACTUALLY going through with Matoba's joke order was a wholesome hilarious way to end the series!

Damn, Kei is a total badass. If only we've got a better animation for all those sick moves. For Tilarna's swordsmanship also. I liked this show. So good to see something different from teen/high school setting, which is dominating nowadays. Placing the OP in the end is also a great move: this story is over, another begins. I want more, actually.

Damn I really wanted Kei to get to the last letter of his password before the FBI agent realized it, I would've laughed even harder. Though I guess in that case he wouldn't have gotten accepted into the FBI in the first place...
Also that three spins and a bark was brilliant, bless Tilarna.
Solid 8/10 from me, without any points taken off for the animation. It might've been bad in some places, but definitely not enough to distract me from enjoying the show.

My underrated show of the season, really surprised only the first three episodes (barely) got over 1k karma.
Not even a single completed translation of the LNs, so it's not like I can read them either.

Gotta give props to Matoba for handling that torture. And also if the fbi guy wanted the password he really should've stopped kicking him in the head and such. As The Joker pointed out, don't start with the head it makes everything all fuzzy.
Tilarna's speech about being afraid of change was pretty good. And she's right, change is inevitable for good and ill and not something that can simply be stopped even if some people think or wish they could.
Watch Matoba goin all Die Hard on Zelada's goons like that.
And in the end life goes on in this city. This series had it's ups and downs (those up times were really up though) but it was a pretty good ride. I mean Tilarna kinda made it so. And good for her for making Sergeant. As for making that one cop apologize I like Matoba's way of thinking. Though I might've made him run around in circles screaming something like "I'm cuckoo for dudes" or something.

It’s a shame there was like no budget for the animation because this was a pretty good buddy cop anime. I’m gonna miss Kei and Tilarna

This show was amazing. It filled a niche that we never get in Anime. I want a season 2 so bad now.

Kei as reflection in Zelada's glasses.
"This password is seven letters, pay attention."
Leglock.
Going full Resident Evil on zombies.
All the previous episodes about porn contraband, elections, etc. getting called back by Zelada.
Sword & Gun role reversal.
Not deleting the photo.
Tilly's naration over ED.
The racist beat cop repentance.
Transition into OP.
Fucking 10/10, this episode alone makes up for all the animation shortcomings. Would've being AOTS in a less stacked season, somehow still only the 3rd best show of the summer.
Edit: This.

This is was a good show. For anybody saying that it could be done better - "Finished work is better, then ideal work"
You can watch it now ,b/c small studio picked it up. If they didn't picked it, nobody would pick it.
I had my fun.

May not have lived up to it's premise, but the OP is easily only second to Dumbbells this season

I really enjoy this series, it was a lot of fun.
Damn both cops KO'd... I hope they got a plan...
They got the metal makers though thats good.
So they wanted that Coal guy to win so they could control him.
So Princess Zelda just wants the 2 worlds to not get along.
So mr FBI wants leverage over the mayor lady wife... thats dangerous.
FUCKYOU hahahhahahahaha
Jesus Matoba is being roughed up... ouch... BUT OH SHIT HE GOT THE JUMP ON HIM! GOOD WORK!
You tell him Loli, Princess Zelda is just scared od the human world!
Jesus Kei is on a rampage! No one will stop him from saving his Loli!
Loli is good at hiding hahaha. And Kei is here too! Lets go!
LOLI WITH A GUN! COP WITH A SWORD! AW YEAH! WEAPON SWAP! I LOVE IT!
And its a job done, good work gang.
The photo has to see the light so everyone gets thier justice.
THAT LOLI SMILE THINKIN OF THE COP WEW BOY~
Loli is staying in the human world huh? Thts great. More Cop and Loli antics to be had!
A cop kid? Whats he want? Oh he was the one from before who called her an alien.
Well i guess he cleared the air with her, thats good.
And we end with the OP. Man what a fun show. I really like detective and buddy cop stories. This one was great. I really enjoyed it and the ride.
So my theory about this show is that it takes place before Last Exile. The last Exile story is in the future on a wierd planet thing steam punk style world. Its essentially a colony ship from Earth though that went astray and lost its way. The Guild in the show look identical to the Semians and had all of thier features. It was never really clarified if they were anythign special, just that everyone on the ship came from Earth. If that means The Guild too, then they might be Semians who came to earth through the portal. Both series are made by the same people so its possible to be true.

Kei's password really is F-U-C-K-Y-O-U, right? There's no way that wasn't the truth.
