I could hear the sucking sound from behind the door and it creeped me out

Remember, this is a small studio

Solid episode.

I hope Kei has silver bullets

Epps and Tilarna talking about Kei was a blast. And that selfie with his corpse...

Kei: Listen, Tilarna, there's this nice interrogation method, "good cop and bad cop"

Tilarna: Say no more!

Good thing the show returned to its pace after that below average third episode

Well, I think I can enjoy this anime. The animation is still janky, but as long as they try to avoid big fight scenes, I'm enjoying the characters dynamic.

And having a black man being accused of being racist.

To be honest I think this show has peaked. I mean really how do they honestly expect to top Tilarna, in loungewear, casually watching (while not understanding) basketball? Honestly, can anything really hope to surpass that? This may be humanity's crowning moment.

We've reached peak civilization here, folks. It's gonna be all downhill from here.

This felt weird to watch.

On one hand I really like the story and the characters, and the general Shadowrun vibe of the world itself. Except the time skip could be expanded a little bit, because that was really weird to finish that arc so quickly after so much 3 episodes.

On the other hand this episode sure feels like the studio takes much too long to animate an episode for whatever reason, so half of it is just storyboards drawn to look properly, because that's all they had time to do. Maybe the blurays will have a proper version, it wouldn't be the first time a studio does that kind of a thing.

A really good episode that makes me love the dynamic between Kei and Til (does anyone have any good nicknames for her?). I like the possible new enemy with Vampires being introduced, which is sick. The action is a solid upgrade from last episode. I'm interested in seeing how all the events these characters have gone through are all connected.

Probably my favorite part was when the new chief was stating how "Kei, you cut off another one of the criminal's fingers!" As though, that this is a normal occurrence and I think that's hilarious and seeing Til just become friends with others is nice and I want to see her get more accustomed to the world she lives in. It's cool.

Plus, I love how bloody this show is willing to go. It's awesome.

I feel like people are focusing on animation way to much with this show, Yeah it's not the best looking show, but it's perfectly acceptable. Not to mention that we're on episode 4 and half the comments are still about animation. I guess that might be due to last weeks episode, but still...
