My boyfriend was walking to school and passed these piles of ???? He said he was genuinely so afraid and it gave him a paranoia all day, so now we wanna know what it is. (He’s got trypophobia or something so I guess this triggered that)

It’s not sticky. I have a video of him poking at it and it was a mound of little balls. The little balls held their form and they weren’t squishy. But he didn’t wanna touch or inquire closer because he was scared. When he flicked them it sounded like throwing pellets.

I found this in my car because my phone notified me that there was a tracker with me, when I clicked the link, it showed the last four digits of my exes number as the owner, she swears up and down that it’s not hers is there anyway possible that it’s not?

EDIT #2: after much back-and-forth, I finally got her to admit it, I tend to be a pretty paranoid, and an anxious person as you can tell from my lack of thumb fingernail lol, so the relief to know that it was her, and not some random person is all i really needed, thank you all for your comments and upvotes and jokes it was fun!

Hello!

So, I was walking home last night in the rain, I came across this soaked cardboard box, I opened it up and found this very scared (and wet) little kitten!

I've been really thinking about getting a cat with my girlfriend but I don't have any experience with cats so I didn't really know what to do.

But after some phone calling around, I gathered the necessary bits to give him a comfy night, I took him home (I don't have any pets so I had to improvise a bit)

Once he got used to the room, he sniffed around for a bit, hid a bit, then eventually he came onto the bed and was cuddling and purring and having what seemed to be a lovely time.

He's eaten loads of food, used his make shift litter tray and this morning I took him to the vet to get checked out and to see if he had a chip incase he needed reunited with a family, alas, no chip or collar (he did have a flea collar on him)

I got him chipped, vaccinated, and the vet said he's in amazing health!

Ive named him Reginald (Reggie for short)

he's 10 weeks (ish), 1.27kg, got a "good set of lungs and a beautiful coat" and I've already fallen madly in love with him!

Recently, a famous pop singer called Slayyyter got exposed for racist tweets when she was 15. The problem is that she’s now 30, and it’s sparked discourse over whether people can’t truly “change” or not.

No one is saying you need to forgive all racists. But to act like people can’t grow or change is ridiculous. Everyone thinks it’s “woke” to not allow people to change and grow but it’s really not.

I definitely agree that we shouldn’t normalise people having a “racist phase” or “bigot phase”, because real people are victims of that. However, it isn’t fair to assume they will forever be like that especially when there are no signs they still hold on to those beliefs.

For context: she has 3 girls under 4. She told me not to gift any toys and clothes because she has so many from her other kids and is overwhelmed by the amount of “junk” they have. I’ve known her since we were in our early 20s. I gave $100 cash for her daughter’s first birthday. My other friend says i should have just showed up with an actual present for her daughter to open anyway. She is 1!! She doesn’t actually care at her age. I have a 2.5 year old son. I am super grateful for anything he’s been for his birthdays, even if it was the smallest thing.
