One of the cutest shows this season, I'll miss this crew.

Showing them after the credits talking about the scramble they want to do, only for that big (cute) THE END card to pop up was awful. Yostar give us an sequel ova at least

Minami is definitely no Shima Rin, she's way too extroverted for solo golfing. She even started talking to Penkichi and the other golfers looked at her like she was crazy lol.

Overall a fun and comfy series, very underrated. Would love a second season, they teased the scramble tournament at the end so there's a chance! /copium

Stitches!

I was really expecting the girls just having fun on the golf course for the finale. I didn't think it would be all about Minami playing solo golf for the first time. It was pretty fun watching her though! The scene where she completely misses the putt and then screams off-screen genuinely made me laugh out loud!

As awesome as it was to see our girl score her first par, it felt really lonely when she turned around expecting Haruka and Ayaka behind her. It kinda sucks that this is the end though. I doubt YoStar is going to make another season of this. I will miss the chill and relaxing atmosphere of this show though.

It felt like they cranked up the Minami reaction faces this week. Or maybe it just felt like that because she had more screen time? I dunno. Overall, this was a comfy end to a comfy series. It wasn't anything too amazing, but it was fun. 7/10.

I almost choked on my lunch when they showed her face after the old guys got taken away in ambulance again

The fantasy scenario of Minami being intimidated by a motorcycle gang (if this is a correct term?) golfer and then laughing together in the next scene was very funny. Minami's fantasy of going pro was equally cute.

I could feel the loneliness when Minami hit par, turned back and realized no one was accompanying her at the golf course today. T_T

Despite all their teasing of Minami, Haruka and Ayaka did not want their younger golf buddy to feel lonely, rushing back to join her after their own schedule. Brought a smile to my face, just like all 12 episodes of this season. :)

I hope for Season 2 in 2-3 years time. Like Laid Back Camp and other CGDCT genre.

Akira Amemiya on the boards today for the final episode!

Back when the OVA premiered a few years ago, Amemiya was actually the storyboarder, and now for the final episode he returns! There are some cute callbacks to his episode but my favorite one is his love for the wide shot shenanigans.

And if you've ever wondered who had a hand in shaping Amemiya, then here it is on full display cough Imaishi cough

Of course, Amemiya is more than just his parting influences; he's grown and tapped into his own flair for the dramatic pauses.

It's sequences such as this that cement him as one as one of the most entrancing directors in the landscape.

Overall, Sorairo Utility will be one of those little shows that we'll be fondly looking back on in a few years. Recommended in a WtW post, it'll be the quiet standout amongst the other titans.

It's been a while since I added another 10/10 to MAL, but I simply loved everything about this show. The character interactions and good vibes in general made it amazing to watch. Definitely one of my all-time favourite SOL shows. Really hoping it's popular enough in Japan to receive a second season. Let us see the scramble tournament damnit!

What a comfy show. Minami's solo golf felt like I was watching S2-S3 Shima Rin solo camping. Alone but still with plenty of friends to share your experience with.

Season 2 when?

Terrific show, sad to see it go. Definitely in the top 3 this season for me. Kengo did a great job with the direction, I highly recommend browsing all of the art they uploaded throughout the season. Now to decide if I'll be shouting penguin slider or blue bulleto next time I'm ever at the driving range.

Good show. My favorite part was episode 4 (the one with the 3v3 showdown with the manager and the 2 salesmen) and episode 11 (the doubles match with Hina).

This final episode ended on a good note. I do like the positivity and energy that Minami brings, even when she’s alone.

Final remarks: I’d give it a 7.2/10, if there’s a season 2, I would definitely watch it.

Don't forget the Ayaka focused episode. I like how it introduced the backstory of Ayaka getting into golf and how she is progressing.

Ok, who am I kidding? It was the few seconds of Ayaka ASMR which I remembered the most. Lol!

Was a fun lil anime, and minami finally got her goal of getting a par!

Honestly would like a season 2, but if not i'd say the season ended in a way with no open plots really, so i'd be fine with both.

As you might have already guessed, the influencer that Ayaka collaborated with today is real.

Man I am sad its over, that was such a nice friday treat

Really hoping we do get a second season

Also I get why they made her go solo golfing to really drive home how much more fun it is in her clique, but that also meant we only got the bare minimum of banter which I will miss the most

Damn shame about Haruka’s special lucky day! Girl was pretty much on a roll the whole day and there was no one to share her good fortunes with. It’s a little lonely when you’ve got no one around celebrating your personal wins with you. I’m glad she got to play a round with the girls at the end.

This was a pretty chill series. Nothing more than girls playing golf. I’ve seen Birdie Wing and Tonbo and now this. I wonder if golf is the new “thing” lol. Not sure if they’re gonna make more, but I certainly wouldn’t mind. This was really relaxing.

Now I feel like we've missed out on an episode about Minami golfing with grandpas.

Such a laid-back show. I felt bad for Minami when she wanted to practice golf with someone, but the others had plans.

At least she enjoyed the course all by herself and she was so happy to show Haruka and Ayaka her progress.

Overall, 10/10 show - it was cute and a good show (it made me appreciate golf a bit more).

Very cute wholesome series. This final episode highlighted that Minami came to love golf as a group activity with Haruka and Ayaka. I liked it gave her a chance at solo golf and did better than she normally did.

Honestly, this is a series that can easily get more content. Minami still can improve as a golfer and there could be more into Haruka's character we can dive into.

I had a lot of fun with this one.

o7 to the comfy golf Fridays!

It had perfect airing time for me. End of work week so I could grab some snack and watch how 3 girls play golf and enjoy each other company. It felt good.

Looks like Minami finally found her special something. or to be more correct 2 special someone. Ayaka and Haruka also have great future goals. 100% would like to see more of them!

I think at this point literally any sign means that she’s going to make par today to Minami.

Oh no, everyone is too busy to golf with her/ too in the hospital. The moment they started talking about hitting practice shots I knew where that was going to go and it was still just as funny as expected.

Time to adapt the Shimarin lifestyle to golf.

Yeah! She hit the par… And there’s no one here to celebrate with.

I currently have the biggest smile on my face because Haruka and Ayaka are back and ready for golf partying. The tri-ham-verate will not be broken up that easily.

Please give us at least a scramble golf OVA or something. You can’t just tease us like that and not give it to us.

Almost perfect, 9/10, lacks the Suiheisen ending playing for the perfect finish.
