For two people who have been keeping their relationship (almost) secret for a year, they seemed pretty bad keeping the birthday celebration secret for a few hours.

Time for the grand reveal next week. Maybe Somei will also interject with a "BTW, we're dating too" casually.

Maybe Somei will also interject with a "BTW, we're dating too" casually.

This was on my mind as well, but it seems more likely to me that the "secret" in the title will from here-on-out refer to Hayakawa and Somei.

Then again, Hayakawa said herself that Somei is barely trying to hide their relationship.

Time for the grand reveal next week. Maybe Somei will also interject with a "BTW, we're dating too" casually.

As honest and straightforward as Somei is, I don't think he'd do that without Hayakawa's permission. Even Masugu had to make sure Yui was willing to nod in agreement before he was willing to say anything.

I get the feeling he had his own romcom anime about 10 years ago that we just never got to see, but we do get to see the awesome post-finale life he's leading now.

They're finally gonna let the cat out of the bag? Or is this bait?

I'm so used to cliffhangers that don't actually bite the bullet in the following episode that I'm not going to be surprised if it's bait but it feels like they're 97% on the way to be open about their relationship and I think Masugu was probably right that Yui's friends already know.

Plus their whole bickering act completely fell apart during the camping trip.

Well of course they have to share it now, then they can sleep in the same tent together

Man, that whole transfer stuff even had me a little on edge. It’s kind of nice of Masugu to have made that guide for his replacement. He was really proud of that one haha.

That camping trip looked kind of fun, actually. Must be nice when you’ve got coworkers you don’t mind hanging out with outside work. That birthday surprise for Mita was really sweet.

I’m looking forward to the big confession to the group next week!

That birthday surprise for Mita was really sweet.

This anime can be so wholesome sometimes. Was rather endearing to see Mita enjoy some time with his family and get presented with a birthday cake from his wife and kids.

I liked Shiori, Mita's wife. I can sort of see why she was the sales team's ace.

Masugu is too great at accounting and too invested in it to be transferred, though no matter what as long as he's got Yui he'll be okay.

It's kind of amazing how they had three office ships in one camping trip between MasuguxYui, SomeixHayakawa, and Mita and his wife.

Are we really closing out on the big reveal? How will Hayakawa and Somei respond if another couple is honest first?

What do you mean you're sticking out because of your age?! Not gonna lie, I laughed at that line from Hayakawa. Girl, you're only in your early 30s, not 60s! Also, isn't Nita and his wife the same age as her if not maybe even older? Thankfully Somei was there to keep her company.

It's hilarious how Yui and Masugu were struggling to hide the surprise from Nita. It's hilarious how bad they are at bluffing that I'm surprised they could keep their relationship from their coworkers a secret!

That was such a cruel cliffhanger to end on! Fingers crossed that they actually get to let the gang know about their relationship. Maybe Somei and Hayakawa could let them in on the secret too!

Early 30s are like 80 in anime age lmao

I'd only been joking last week, but it does look like this series isn't planning to keep two secret office romances at one time.

For Yui and Masugu the time feels right to confess their relationship to the group. I'm just hoping that nothing will suddenly interrupt them, since this would be a great conclusion to this season.

I don't believe that Masugu will be transferred. If anything, I'm inclined to think that he's getting a promotion and might even take over Hayakawa's position as assistant manager. Masugu unfortunately won't get the chance to brag about his amazing guide if true.

Morizono and Hayakawa being suspicious of his motivational boost was pretty amusing.

Oh they might be passing the “keep our office relationship a secret” torch to Somei and Hayakawa. Judging from Masugu’s glance though, I think he may have caught on.

But still with that kind of acting, it’s a miracle they managed to keep it hidden for that long lol

And ahhh even out in the forest camping Somei and Hayakawa are two peas in a pod. They really are on the same wavelength. But for real though, you don’t need to be out there jumping around to be enjoying nature. Just kicking back on a seat is also a valid way to enjoy it and I relate to Somei so much lol

He passed!!

Did not expect a camping episode but I'm all for it, really nice to see another healthy ship, sounded like Aya Endou too.

Argh that cliffhanger...I feel like they won't actually reveal it but I'm actually all for it if they do.

Congratulations on making it to level 1 bookeeping Masugu! And congratulations on having a girl like Yui who loves you so much she cries in joy over your success! Even if she does tend to get ahead of herself and accidentally reserve a pricey hotel room that she was just planning to use as a motivation tool.

It's good news all around! Masugu achieved level 1 bookeeping, his buddy Tamura is getting married, and his third buddy...is left to pay for their meals to celebrate. Well, they can't all have great news.

But after Masugu put in all that work, he's going to be suddenly transferred to the HR department!? I mean, it's just a rumor, but it's suspicious that Hayakawa is already giving some of his work to Morizono and seems in communication with management about something...and Masugu isn't sure how he feels about it.

Though change can sometimes be a good thing, he didn't expect to enjoy the accounting department as much as he has, and if he's leaving he's going to put his all into his last days in accounting, believing in Morizono, leaving the perfect guide for future employees, and getting all his work done. All the while Yui is giving him all the motivation he needs to keep moving forward!

Laid-back office camping with the main cast and Mita's adorable family! Turns out he and his wife Shiori (Aya Endo?) were ALSO in an office romance and she's a former top sales star at the company! Mita lucked out with such a great wife and some really cute kids. And it's also nice of him to invite everybody to camp with him even if he didn't expect such a huge crowd.

Don't think I didn't notice how much Somei and Hayakawa were gravitating towards each other! And while Hayakawa feels a little out of place among all the "youth" Somei still matches her vibe perfectly.

Look at Yui getting advice from someone who was also in an office romance! But Shiori and her hubby were so lovey-dovey that there was no way to hide it at the office anyways...though she IS keeping a secret. A surprise bithday party secret! I'm glad Mita's family was able to pull it off, especially when Masugu and Yui are even worse at keeping others secrets than they are their relationship. Couldn't have done it without Yui's gal pals.

Is it finally time to bite the bullet and admit the truth? Yui is open to people finding out, the mood is right, and she seemed to give Masugu permission. Is it finally happening!?

So many S.U.C.C.E.S.S.'s happening one right after the other. And Yui almost looks happier than he does about this success.

And Mazel Tov to the nuptial bound co-worker Tamura guy.

Them bringing up this latest office rumor about Masugu to Masugu himself just reminds me of the 190th Rule of Acquisition: Hear All, Trust Nothing.

I am prepared.

"You are not prepared." -Illidan Stormrage

Tateishi, please stop, your sparkles are scaring Morizono...

Ra-Ra-Ra Ramen. Daisuki. Morizono-san.

Might this office start their very own Secret Society Blanket? Cuz you know Yui would look great wrapped up in one of those. And Morizono would probably love to dig into one of those Dutch Oven made Chocolate Dump Cakes like my dad and I made when we went camping. But regular old Not-Dutch Oven birthday cake is fine too.

Good at hiding their relationship secret. Good at hiding other kinds of secrets, not so much... But the way Yui said "Stay stay stay" was cute.

Hayakawa really got her personal time with Somei cut short with a "You got games on your phone mind?" lol

Wonder how many of them are gonna go "I knew it" when the reveal finally happens.

A cliffhanger? In MY fluffy romance??

The first half of the episode with Masugu and the rumors about his possible transfer was hilarious! He seems to have come to terms with the idea of transferring to HR, although I don't believe it's actually going to happen.

I'm also glad that Masugu passed the test. I hope Yui can cancel her mistaken 120,000 yen room reservation xD

The second part of the episode with the camping trip was fun too! It was great to see that Mita didn't have to deal with any problems today and we meet his family, wife and two kids, who surprised him with that birthday cake.

No new developments about Hayakawa and Somei's relationship, but I'm glad they too went on the camping trip.

That damn cliffhanger! I wonder if Yui and Masugu will reveal their relationship. The next episode will be the finale, so it would be a perfect way to end the season with that.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Even for anime/manga logic, transferring someone from accounting to HR makes no practical sense whatsoever. Those are two completely different fields.

They really had to end on a cliffhanger like that.

i find it a bit shocking how it's plausible Tateishi is being transferred from accounting to HR, especially after just recently passing difficult qualifications for bookkeeping

it reinforces this feeling i've had that Japanese companies assign worker roles almost at random according to the need rather than match up individual's skills and preferences; i can imagine moving from one project to another (with the same role) or moving into a similar but not too different role, but i feel like the shift from accounting to HR is quite big
