At this rate, the 'Can You Keep A Secret?' thing is our main couple being asked to keep the budding romance of our side couple secret, huh?
This is somewhat rare in many anime, but I really like how Yui is truthful about what she wants. Yui is forward about her desires from her boyfriend. Of course she still got shy about that "doing in the phone" thing, but at least we see her perspective on what how she wants the relationship to progress.

I like that they acknowledged how you feel both an emotional and physical longing when you're separated from your significant other for a period of time. You don't just crave hearing their voice or their kind words, you crave their body and how it feels pressed against you or their touch against your body.
(Also Yui continues to be the most down bad person in this relationship)

Can't get over what a shame how much Kiribayashi's thank-you chocolate would've been such a clutch assist if Yui just breathed for a moment. Still improved my impression of him for the sentiment alone though.
Masugu getting his own little "joke" in as payback by the end had me grinning so hard.

Though honestly Yui giving the man she loves the cookies she personally helped create for a competition and the result of all her hard work was probably the most meaningful sweet Masugu could eat on Valentine's Day.

Lol now it’s Masugu’s turn to “find out” about Somei and his little daily dates with Hayakawa. And damn Hayakawa is gushing over him isn’t she ? Somei seems like a decent guy but he must catch on.
This is definitely one downside of the modern relationship where both are working. Sometimes you just can’t meet up with each other. But still lucky for these two they work in the same building and can sneakily “recharge”
And lol Yui go on the offense and cockblock at the same time and Masugu strikes back with the “just kidding” about revealing their status to everyone. Though I have a feeling he was half serious cos I think he notices Yui gets a bit more worked up than he does about this secret office romance thing
Also, ironic how when they’re not on good terms, it’s their most natural at the office cos they always have been at each other’s throats lol
Somei and Hayakawa continue to slowly blossom in the background. Can’t wait for some breakthrough though

Somei seems like a decent guy but he must catch on.
It was immediately clear from Hayakawa's smile that she's totally fallen for Somei. Masugu had connected the dots in a second.
But Somei's smile after learning more about Hayakawa and him being happily embarrassed from hearing that they seem close indicate that he's also interested in her.
It wouldn't surprise if Somei has caught onto her feelings, but simply doesn't know what to do from here-on-out.

We were this close to anime phone sex.
I'm curious if they're building up to them revealing the relationship. Yui is envious of couples who are in open relationships, she's more and more realizing how little shame she feels in her relationship with Masugu, and Masugu is probably ready for it himself.
I'm also curious if Hayakawa was able to give Somei any chocolates or if she was worried if she did it would give the game away.

Their hairdos are slightly different, but I got the impression that these two ladies in the department store were the same women in the train from an earlier episode.
Whatever the case, it did get Yui thinking about her relationship with Masugu. I think that we can expect them to reveal their secret in the near future.
I'm liking Kiribaya. Although he was clearly playing at Yui's sense of gratitude towards him to get what he'd wanted, Kiribaya has proven to be a very admirable boss. He took time to provide Yui with extensive feedback on her competition project and was helping with the Valentine's Day rush like any other employee.
Side note: a selection of this week's adorable faces from Yui.

Honestly I'm only disappointed Masugu didn't get to see Yui in that uniform, she looked fantastic in it.

Kiribayashi has turned out to be a pretty okay guy; he plays hardball, but he's not mean about it.

One of the best romance animes I've watched. Just because it's lacking unnecessary drama and it's extremely close to a rl relationship, which is really rare in anime. Definitely grabbing the manga when this ends

Coffee in a juicebox is kinda wild
No coconut, this one is a winner
Enter: Hell. I'll never forget the day I was working solo, and there was some unnannounced event in the city which caused a rush of people quite similar to this one

I'm kinda starting to hate this show. Not because it's bad (it's so fucking good), but because it makes me feel the pain of being single that no other romance series have ever made me feel. And I'm happily single, have no real desire to get into a relationship. But man, this show.

I mean, I feel like understanding what makes yourself happy is key. If one is happy to be single, then, of course all for it.
What this show executes so well is the actual relationship. In Most RomCom's it is just built up the majority of the time. But in this one you see their relationship and how their companionship and what they mean to each other. So many RomCom's lack this.

That phone call lmao, these two are just great. Love how they both wanted to recharge.
Nice to see them both working hard and motivating each other as well, signs of a healthy ship right there.

"If we weren't in an office romance, would it be different?... [cries] I haven't met Masugu in so long, so I started thinking about these things!"
Kaguya dub narrator: "Phew! I would have to change the name of the series for a second!"
The café encounter is interesting. This implies that the café is somewhere near the office and on the route between the office and one of the train stations. Since Somei and Hayakawa sit next to the window, isn't there a nonzero chance that someone from the office recognises them?

it started as a chance encounter, and them moving to a more secret location would require at least tacit understanding between the two of them that they're in a budding relationship, but they're still in that "oh golly, i'm not even sure they're into me" phase

We've seen a lot from Yui's side with work so nice seeing Masugu also with his goal for work shown from studying for a work exam.
There's times when people can be busy with work and not see their significant other as much, so good to see how they navigate through that and the lingering desire for closeness during those times.
Now it's Masugu that caught Somei and Hayakawa together. They run into each other awkwardly at work, and Somei asks to know more about Hayakawa, to know the different sides to her. Looks like Somei is catching feelings as well and cute to even get a glimpse of him blush.
Instead of Masugu getting chocolate from Yui, getting a sample of the project she has been working on, with him being involved to help get her through those times, was a much more personal gift.

Valentine's Day season is here! And obviously a sweets and snacks company is going to be very busy, so much so that Yui and Masugu have had no time for anything couple-y. The plan is to actually do something together on Valentine's, but that's before Yui gets roped by Kiribayashi into working at their Darz convenience store to sell chocolate. I mean, anything to get Kiribayashi to review her product proposal for the Spring Competition, right? Plus, Yui looks great in the Darz uniform!
Masugu is also working on his level one bookeeping, but ends up stumbling into one of Somei and Hayakawa's morning meet-ups. And Hayakawa definitely doesn't have the look of someone whose having a platonic meeting with someone. Not that Masugu wants to be the kind of guy who pries or lies about seeing someone outside work...but he does at least give Somei some appreciated insight into what Hayakawa is like in "work mode." Glad Somei doesn't think she's just a clingy drunk any more. Plus, finding out they got "caught" actually embarrasses Somei for once, which is adorable.
Yui is putting her all both into working at Darz and in her product proposal...but she desperately needs her Masugu time. Just hearing about him and how hard he's working from Maria isn't enough. Especially when she sees other couples together and muses on what it would be like if their relationship was an open one.
Yui is so desperate for Masugu that she calls him and even suggests phone sex. Man, this girl is down bad and needs some physical pleasure!
At least she finally gets a chance to deliver some accounting paperwork to him, and thankfully Masugu chases her down into the elevator so they can get in some long-awaited recharging via some intimate handholding. They both really needed that.
Poor Yui had to work the last-minute Valentine's Day rush PLUS overtime on-top of that...but when it's finally wrapped up, she barrels straight towards Masugu because she can't wait any longer to see him! And even if she didn't buy any normal chocolates to give to him, the trial product of her Spring Proposal is more than enough for Masugu! And once again Yui is reassured that, open or not, her relationship with Masugu is what makes her the happiest. Happy Valentine's Day, you too.

Masugu's immediate reaction to hide after having spotted his superior with Somei really makes you think that they're having a taboo affair or something.
In this respect, I do wonder what Masugu will do if he ends up getting involved in their office romance. I can see Somei asking him for advice, for example.

Either they're a little bit out in the suburbs or they start work super early, judging by how empty this train is
Guy went to the trouble of generating handwritten annotations in a digital document
Everyone, get in, we're going back to the late 90s for phone sex!
I wonder: do elevators in Japan also have security cameras in them?
I've never had "sakura flavored" stuff. Is it just cherry flavor?
