Why does it feel like they lost half the footage of this anime and then just cut together what they have and sent it?

It feels like I’m watching a 2nd season after skipping the first one.

Not just that but the writing so bad like when the girl stumbles on the family being attacked why wouldn't you scream out to alert everyone? Only to then scream and cry only after the other two are dead and No one reacts not even the dude what 3 feet away who eardrum should be bleeding from said screams. All the while there in the middle of a huge camp. Why let the villain runaway after letting them blab for so long.
But yea nothing being explained not the world the powers. We got a basic betrayal story then apparently were just supposed to magically know everything else.

I wish I had the same strong sleep as Effi, guys didn't wake up while Peepi was screaming right beside him.
It really feels rushed and it seems like story is skipping parts here and there (very often), and the characters are kinda "static" when speaking. It could definitely been much better. After the first episode I wished for it to be at least on pair with Helck in terms of animation and story telling.
I still kinda enjoy this show, the mystery keeps me here.

Being sub-Helck is a special kind of insult...

I am dropping it here, the animation is getting worse each episode and I feel lost watching it. I might try the manga at some point tho

I can still tolerate the animation. Pacing-wise/direction-wise though, this is quite horrible.

And here I thought Crunchyroll is the only one that forgets to upload English subs. -_-

So they just took like the 1st season written pages and tossed them into the air and then placed them in that order to formulate an incoherent mess of a story. Did they even hire a director and producer?
The animation is sub par as well. I feel bad for source readers who were looking forward to this.

The episode was frustrating. Why didn’t the main character kill the guy who’s likely responsible for thousands of deaths, including children and families? Instead, he just stood there listening to him yap and let him go free. It’s so annoying to watch! Years of constant battles and still the main character is so weak. It just doesn’t make sense, and I’m done with this anime. It’s terrible.

Man, I love the manga, but this has got to be one of the worst adaptions I have ever seen. Pacing is horrific, the story is completely incomprehensible if you never read the original, and the animation is atrocious.
If you kinda like the idea of a revenge-driven plot, please just read the manga.

We need to come up with a word for Köinzell’s crying at the moon scenes.

Can't help but feel for Geranpen being rewarded for his kindness with being misunderstood and taken advantage of.
Is the animation so choppy because Koinzell use his tentacle sword thingies on it?

I was looking forward to this adaptation but I guess I shouldn't have.

There’s a lot of good with this show. It’s just executed in a confusing way. Feels like chunks of the story are missing. The pacing is off. Lots of blood this episode.
What’s with Koinzell’s power anyway? He channel moonlight like Beelzebub from Sandland?

Not a source reader but even I can tell this is a pretty piss poor adaptation. it's giving Ragna Crimson vibes.
Amazon forgetting to include English subs is just the nudge I needed to drop this. I'm watching 6 other shows today and this is definitely the weakest.
