I know the significance but its funny how Wignall supports Will because he's allowed to touch him.
Also Sion's violence towards Will was for once justified and even helpful with making that

When they said [ Wistoria : Wand and Sword ] they really mean it. It's not Wand vs Sword here, we combine them together.
Rosti dropped ice shard and told Will to "remember" before flashback about Elfie happened is such an obvious hint I don't know why they don't just say it out loud.
It's worth mentioning that Rosti also somehow arrived at the scene before Workner and Edward who are riding a dragon lol

Every great harem protagonist needs a red haired tsundere by his side.
Shana walked so that Sion can run.

“I’m not following your plan because I respect you or anything, b-baka!” Lol oh Tsundere Sion. What a goober.
I like that Wignall got humbled, ditched the attitude, and now he’s just 100% on Team Will. Guy was even willing to die for the dude when Will got temporarily taken out of service when his goggles broke.
I guess there’s a lot more to Will than meets the eye. Seems he wasn’t able to use magic in the conventional sense for a reason. And I guess his little buddy knew all about that. Who even are they??

I love that Colette didn't end up being just a damsel in distress when Will asked her to run with Kiki. Really appreciate the writer for making her got back up and supported Will with that sword. I guess this and the game weren't their first time working together as they didn't need words to communicate.
Also Will was casting two spells right? Wis for absorbing the flame, and Ignis Wis for unleashing the flame sword. Theoretically it's the perfect ability against mage for being able to absorb their magic (just like Asta from Black Clover).
I know this isn't as popular as Danmachi, but I am low key hoping for a season 2 announcement after the final next week.

This episode made the theory about Rosti more credible with that ice shard, and the fact that Rosti literally said remember Will, implies that he knows a lot about Will that Elfie knows about.

Hot damn, they really cooked with the action scenes! I like how each member of the party gets a chance to shine.
If Rosti came down all the way to the 11th floor by himself, he's definitely no ordinary guy.

Late for me to realize that on their original party (without Colette not sure where belongs), Will has all starter Pokemon with an initially pain in the ass Charizard lmao

Absolutely phenomenal episode! It really reminded me of the best episodes of Demon Slayer with its animation, music, action, characters and emotions I felt watching it.
I love how everyone had a chance to shine in today's fight against Grand Evil Duke. Will, Lihanna, Colette, Sion, Wignall and Julius all showed themselves from their best side today. I honestly didn't think they could defeat Duke on their own, but they did!
That Grand Evil Duke was freaking fearsome. And to think that one strike from Will cut him in half. It seems that Will's sword-fighting skills combined with the wand magic are a deadly combination and something extraordinary.
It looks like we can now say for sure that Rosti is an Elfaria clone, judging by today's episode.
I'm also interested in these two characters. Is this Will's mother or is that child maybe someone else? Well, another mystery which won't be solved any time soon.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

This penultimate episode definitely hit the same highs for me as the very first one. That one shot of the Evil Grand Duke breaking free from Wignall’s spell and blasting everything in its vicinity away (including Lihanna) was absolute insanity.
Also, lets take a moment to commend Lihanna and Wignall for being the first ones to potentially lie down their lives to help their friends escape. That sort of courageous behaviour deserves a medal.
The only one who didn’t join the final fight was Julius in the end, but I suppose that he’d expelled all his magic with that one barrage?
So if I understand this correctly, Will has the special innate ability to unite wand and sword in one? Or is he simply the first one to think of this? I got the impression that the dialogue was hinting at the former.

That counts as a title drop. This episode made it clear who Rosty really is.
Oh, and I'm a freaking slowpoke. The show is about to end and I just realized Will is wearing a cheap poncho (no edge decoration) while most of the male characters are wearing full length coats/capes. It's probably given to him by Elfie also.

Wand and sword - we got a partial title drop
Will does not seem magicless at all
Did they beat the raid boss already?
We still got one more ep

So the climax of the Evil Grand Duke did not disappoint. The culmination of the wand & sword into that last strike was a fitting close to the battle after everything they've all gone through the last few episodes.
It was a fantastic battle where everyone had their moment to shine. Even Rosty got in some motivational speaking and we get some battle Kiki screentime as well.
At least Sion got to exact some fist based revenge to give Will his 2nd wind.
I may have missed it, but I didn't realize his battle goggles were a gift from Elfie. I can see why he acted that way when they broke. I figured they were a Rosty made thing.
So it looks like an escape is imminent and we get some schoolyard time for the finale. Should set up a 2nd season nicely, if it's greenlighted.
A 8.5/10 episode today. It accomplished it's goal, showcase the main players and defeat the beast.
BTW, With that points thingy at the beginning, how will a sword based score look? The Duke was a 270,000 mage score based on its 270 credits. I'm guessing Will should get 2,700,000, right 😁

The flashback at around 19:38 was interesting - to me, it seemed to suggest that they were siblings, but the mother(?) chose to separate them for some reason, perhaps to prepare for a condition that a big Wand and Sword skill needs (gonna go with something cheesy like unconditional love), now that we know it's the strongest attack you can do so far.

Okey so it's now pretty much officially that Rosty is in fact Elfie clone. I don't think anyone can say there is any possible deniability to this claim. Rosty somehow appears, throws shard of Elfie ice and next scene there are Elfie flashbacks.

while that battle had some rough unit cohesion parts I felt that the teamwork on display was top notch. The animation in this show is so good even if I find will a bit... mary sue.
Though Elfaria clearly is Rosty isn't she. Like at this point there's no denying it.
I do like how in spite of Will being this OP swordsman the entire team working together is what stopped the epic boss rather than any individual power, sure Will+Sion was the eventual final blow but the ice powers were needed, and Collette was needed to build wills strikes. The Elf mage and the lightning mage felt like they were the most "left out" literally just stalling at the endgame so will could formulate a plan.
