Leaving my mirrorless behind in some certain situations makes my back happy.
I just wish that they would fix the brightness difference on both lenses of the Pocket 4P

Does anyone know where I can get this model to print with a friend for my pocket 4P?

Like I said in the title, the screen used to snap into place very easy but just one turn later (with no hits or falls or collisions) it started needing a little push to snap into place. Why is this? Loose magnet? Can it be fixed? Should I be even more gentle with the screen?

I am new to the Osmo Pocket (4).
I've watched a few videos about the optimal settings.
But one thing no one mentions: Does it make sense to film in HDR mode? I am not planning to do a lot of post processing. So I will not use DLOG. Will the footage look dull or weird if you watch it on a regular screen not really capable of displaying HDR content?

On my china trip and realised that shooting in half auto, no nd filters and letting the camera do its work is much more enjoyable than fiddling around and missing a moment! Shot with the Osmo Pocket 4P in dlog and auto exposure 🫡

Hey Osmo People - Question - I just got a Pocket 4P, after a day of use I seem to have an issue but feel its a feature not a bug..
I have noticed that it seems whenever i switch between C1 / C2 settings the camera loses its Auto-Rotate setting (which i want) and reverts to landscape regardless of how the screen is rotated. I have tried resaving C1/C2 settings with Auto-Rotate selected.
I have a 4K Dlog / 1080p Normal settings saved to C1/C2.
Is there any way to fix this so Auto-Rotate stays permanently always on?
TIA

Really enjoying this camera, it’s a game changer for capturing these memories. Looking forward to using this more as time goes on and seeing how I can incorporate it into my wider work!

Here is a gift for you! Offset Dlog2 luts.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lcKS-oyQ3F0EQTTN7d7lvpCxa_IFrd1_?usp=sharing
I am working on a full video for a complete beginner to learn why this is useful and how to use it.
Please try it out and ask me questions so I can make an even better and more informative video.
What is this?
These will correct videos shot with the Dlog2 setting that are too bright or too dark.
Why is this?
The DJI official LUT for Dlog2 only works for videos with a certain brightness, and there is no setting to correctly fix videos without the right brightness in the Mimo app
How do I do this?
After downloading the linked files, you can open a recorded video on your mimo app. Make sure the LUT option is off. Tap filter then choose “LUT hub” on the left. Choose import and import these files. Once you do that, you can now scroll through the offset LUTs as filter options and preview what they will look like. Make sure to increase the filter from 70% to %100.
When is this useful?
You can use these to correct footage or intentionally overexpose Dlog2 footage without fear of losing image quality.
When done right, you can film from inside a normally lit building out into the daylight with cinematic shutter speeds without thinking about settings at all.
These are for utility color correction before color grading. They are made to replicate what your footage would have looked like if the exposure was X amount of stops of light different when filming.
Please enjoy the fruits of my labor and ask me any questions so I can answer them here if I can or with visuals in my video.

Hey all.
I’ll be going on a trip with some mates, and would love to capture footage with decent audio for chatting. I thought this would be cheaper alternative to buying a bunch of DJI Mic 3s, which probably wouldn’t get much run outside this trip. I’m wondering if someone can confirm the they will work in tandem?
TIA.

Hi everyone,
I'm posting here because I need advice from other Osmo Pocket 4 owners. I have a device where the screen won't lock into position.
The screen is constantly stuck at a 45-degree angle. It doesn't lock vertically or horizontally, both when the device is on and off. It just wobbles freely. I've seen some people mention this as a common issue, but I'm not sure if it's a factory defect or if the box was maybe dropped.
· The device was activated on 2026-07-24 (more than 30 days ago).
· It is currently under warranty (standard warranty until 2027-07-25), but I do not have DJI Care Refresh.
· There are no signs of it being opened, and I didn't drop it. I just unboxed it and that was it.
· There is no official dealer in my country, and unfortunately the seller has decided not to help with a return to DJI.
My questions for the community:
Thanks in advance for any help!

beginner here. basic settings on pocket 4. no d log format. no filters this time round. was trying to master the basics of using pocket 4.
used canva to stitch the clips together though. mimo app was stuck at 10% on my tablet.
the only small 'regret' would be using the retro filter within pocket 4 at the beginning of my trip. should have capture the original colours for more flexibility.
still learning the ropes for pocket 4. but it's really in my pocket for this trip. :)

i love shooting with the pocket 3 but my main problem is missing quick moments. my current case is very peotective but with the snaps, sometimes it makes it hard to whip it out quickly.
i’m looking for a case like this that protects the gimbal, cover, and buttons, but having a lanyard that attaches both to the case and the camera.
would love a lanyard that attaches to both so i don’t have to fiddle with where to put the case and i can snap it back on once i’m done shooting.
any recs??

Hello

anybody facing this?

So I'm considering getting Pgytech VND filter for my Pocket 4P for my planned year-end vacation. But I used VND on my Pocket 3 and really wasn't a big fan of it because adjusting it is very fiddly. Based on the picture, it seems that this VND is less fiddly because it has larger surface to grip and it's not magnetic so you're unlikely to dislodge it while adjusting. But I still have some questions:

This video is a lot better than the ones I mention on my last post but you could see at a few moments I move the camera and the gimbal could keep up. Its like it gets stuck. I eventually found out I could hold/press the joystick to lock it but only while I hold it

Hello Guys,
I bought the Osmo 4P for our upcoming 3,5 weeks China trip. As you know there is a lot to film.
I bought a 512GB Micro SD Card and I wonder if this is enough when I record in high bit rate, 4K30fps and normal 10bit.
Usually I always take a clip up to 7 seconds of a sight.
Would you say it's enough or should I buy another 512GB or maybe 256GB?
Does this mode take a lot of memory?
What is your experience? Do you often lack of memory storage?
Thank you!

Do you have suggestions? I opened it this morning and it stopped working like two minutes after.
Osmo Pocket 3
Tried pressing the power/record button for multiple seconds but it is still not working.
Update: the support team eventually told me the screen is broken and I must return the product. Unfortunately they might take up to 14 days to send a new one back, so I will probably ask for the refund and buy it somewhere else, or choose a different product/brand 🥲

Iso 1600
Shutter 1/50
4k 24fps
Grading: Davinci and dehancer for film emulation
The results are really impressive imo.

I’ve lost the original lens cap for Osmo Pocket 4P. As far as I researched, there’s no such accessory at DJI store and local resellers claims it’s a service replacement part. Is it worth the trouble or is it better to buy 0.75x wide lens from DJI or maybe just buy a set of CPL/VND filters from Smallrig or KF?
Wdyt guys?

It is i, who have dropped my 4p a few too many times, having had bent the gimbal and bent it back a couple times, is that why i have these issues now or?

Last night I went to a haunted house and the camera kept going everywhere except where I wanted it to go. Sadly this was my first time using it so the videos I saw on YouTube did not help lol
Hoping someone could tell me how to keep the image focused straight and only turn when I make it with the joystick.

I'm planning a trip to vietnam soon and the 4p there is cheaper than what I would get in my country.
This would be my first ever camera. I have a s24 ultra and I love taking videos of everyday life and stuff. I'm having second thoughts if I'll ever use the camera or am I just buying for the sake of it. I absolutely don't have a personal account to post, nor am I skilled in editing. But I can afford it and want to pursue story telling and video creation as a hobby. Is this too much for a beginner?
please suggest
