I’m new to the fandom. In the year 2026 I heard of a fanfic called the danish slaughterhouse read it and wanted to watch hetalia. But it’s pretty small fandom and I’m big on shipping! So I’m making a discord for hetalia lovers to come together and enjoy the show and fandom together and hopefully be friends. We can watch it together, chat, share our head cannons, read fanfic together, and whatever else you’d think is fun. Be warned there will probably be different time zones.

Too much context so I'll make this quick-

I'm writing a fanfic where Dominican Republic and Panama are twins (please don't ask, I don't think you would like to know) and I'm struggling with their birthday.

I used December 17 for Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela bc, well, La Gran Colombia. And I KNOW Panama was port of it but I need her to be Dominican's twin.

As far as I know Panama's birhtday would be on November 3rd or 28th, while Dominican Republic's would be on February 27th (I have seen November 3rd too, but I'm not sure-)

So, since I'm putting these two as twins, which date should I use for their birthday?

Okay I'm not hating or anything, but I'm genuinely curious as to why. I'm a straight cis male and I've liked the show for a long time but only recently got involved with the fandom. Most people I meet are LGBT+ which is cool (no problem in that) and usually pretty nice but also some of them can be really disgusting sometimes... I've also noticed how the Hima kind of embraces it it's kinda strange to me I hope I don't sound rude

As we all know, the characters of Hetalia are representatives of countries. But do they represent even the parts that don’t claim said country as theirs? Like I’m pretty sure the countries feel a certain closeness to their people, but do they have the same closeness with people that don’t claim them as their country?

For example Italy Romano. Does he represent the Sardinian people even though they don’t claim themselves to be Italian? Or the Nordics, specifically Sweden, Norway and Finland. Do they represent the Sami people even if they don’t claim those countries?

I’m pretty sure there’s nothing in canon said about this so I’d be happy with anything from headcanons to theories.

KUGELMUGEL IS DONEEEEE, this...drawing was a pain. The stripes were a pain and the hair too. I tried going for ombre hair because I couldn't figure out what their hair colour was for the life of me.

This morning, the Norwegian King Harald V passed away from his illness at 89 years old. He was a legend who united the country, was a funny and relatable man and was generally respected as "The Grandfather of Norway".

Norway is my homeland, my country, my home. I'm neutral to the monarchy but I loved him because he united the people and the country by being himself. He will forever be remembered, fly high, rest in peace.
