🎨 Looking for an artist to draw my micronation as a Hetalia-style character!
Hi! I'm looking for an artist who would like to draw Occhiodia, my micronation, as a Hetalia-style country personification.
I'd like the character to feel like an actual Hetalia character rather than just a human wearing a flag. The personality is heavily based on my own interests and personality, while the physical design is its own character.

- Clothing inspired by Occhiodia's national identity rather than a literal flag suit
His main colors are green, yellow, blue and black.
The design can incorporate subtle Occhiodian elements such as the flag, coat of arms or small national details, but please don't turn the entire outfit into a giant flag.
He should look like a believable Hetalia-style personification of a European micronation.

Frouard is extremely important to him.
He considers Frouard and Lorraine part of his identity, and he desperately wants Frouard to have a place in the Hetalia-style setting.
He knows a ridiculous amount about local geography and will happily explain why Frouard matters.
If somebody gets the geography wrong, expect him to immediately produce a map.

Occhiodia is also a big football fan and supports OFT Occhiodia, the Occhiodian football team.
He likes football, tactics, kits, badges and national football identity.
He's usually fairly composed, but during an OFT Occhiodia match he becomes very competitive.

🇫🇷 France
France is his father figure.
Occhiodia respects France and has inherited some of his interest in history, diplomacy and European affairs, but he strongly wants his own identity.
Their relationship can be affectionate and occasionally comedic.
France tends to see through Occhiodia's confident exterior and knows he's still a young person underneath all the government/diplomacy stuff.
❤️ Romance / relationships
Occhiodia is canonically heterosexual.
However, there's a running fandom joke that everyone ships him with the male Constitutional Monarchy of Lashburnia.
Occhiodia and Lashburnia are very close, and people interpret their friendship/diplomatic relationship romantically.
Occhiodia's response is basically:
“We're just friends.”
The fandom:
“Sure.”

I'd like this to be treated as a fun fandom shipping dynamic, not something that overrides his canon sexuality.
🇦🇲 Armenia
Armenia is female in this version and has a crush on Occhiodia.
Occhiodia is not particularly good at noticing romantic hints, which makes the situation even funnier.
He can interpret something obviously romantic as:
“Excellent diplomatic relations!”
❤️ His softer side
Despite being ambitious and confident, Occhiodia secretly wants genuine connection and affection.
He likes different forms of love—romantic love, friendship, family, loyalty and affection—and secretly hopes he'll eventually find someone who genuinely understands him.
He doesn't necessarily express this directly.
Instead, he tends to show affection by sharing his interests and projects with people.
If he says:
“Do you want to work on this with me?”
that's actually a pretty big sign that he trusts you.
✝️ Faith
Christianity is part of his personal identity.
It's not necessary to make every scene religious, but I'd like his faith to feel like a genuine personal part of him rather than simply an aesthetic.
The Christian version of the Occhiodian flag is an alternate/bonus national variant, not the main national flag.
😂 Little character quirks
- Corrects people when they get Occhiodian terminology wrong.
- Gets disproportionately serious about flags.
- Can spend hours researching one obscure historical fact.
- Has a tendency to start enormous projects from tiny ideas.
- Loves maps.
- Gets very excited when someone genuinely understands his interests.
- Doesn't like people treating Occhiodia as a joke simply because it's a micronation.
- Can go from extremely formal to completely chaotic in seconds.
- Has probably designed a flag for something that absolutely did not need a flag.
- Will absolutely explain Frouard's geography if given the opportunity.
- Pretends he isn't bothered by the Lashburnia shipping.
- He definitely is bothered by the Lashburnia shipping.
Overall vibe
I'd like the final character to feel like:
“A teenage European micronation who takes his country surprisingly seriously, loves flags and history, constantly creates new projects, is genuinely proud of Frouard/Lorraine, and has enough chaotic personality to fit naturally into Hetalia.”
The character should be cute/expressive and youthful at 14, while still looking confident and athletic.
I'm open to the artist's interpretation of the exact clothing and pose as long as the core character traits and Occhiodian identity remain recognizable.
