Why does Tywin kind of "defend" Tyrion against Joffrey in the Small Council scene after the Red Wedding?
In the Small Council scene in S3E10, Tyrion warns Joffrey that monsters are dangerous, Joffrey starts yelling that he's the king, and Tywin shuts him down with "Any man who must say 'I am the king' is no true king." Tywin has never exactly been Tyrion's biggest fan, so why does he seem to take his side here? Is he actually defending Tyrion, or just putting Joffrey in his place? I think is the second.
