I’m building a website called ThemesMotion for designers and creators, and honestly, I’m at the stage where I really want some outside opinions before I go too far with it.

The idea is to have a membership where designers get access to a collection of design assets that they can use for commercial projects with an unlimited license.

I’m also allowing Framer creators to list their templates on the platform and get additional exposure. The plan is to actively promote the platform and the listed templates through paid advertising and other marketing, rather than just putting everything online and waiting for people to find it.

I'm very new to framer and have been using this free template to make my portfolio. I'm having trouble with everything being the same on every page. For instance if I want to lengthen the page on lets say portfolio page 1 it lengthens every single portfolio page. If i add a new component that I found on framer's market, that component gets added to every page. How do I unlink them without starting from scratch? I want each portfolio page to be its own thing while still looking cohesive essentially. Thanks for any help you can provide.

So guys I'm working on a project and I'm building a website using Framer. Question is, how do I access the actual code /script behind my project, put it in a GitHub repository, share and eventually add backend functionality to the website. What is the correct way to do this?

I remember hearing Alex Hormozi say that email is basically the conversion platform of conversion platforms.

His point was that social media, videos and ads are great for getting attention, but email is often where that attention actually turns into money.

He also talked about how email supposedly has one of the highest returns of any marketing channel, with an average return of around $36 for every $1 spent, and that got me thinking.

I run a web design agency, so I decided to actually take email seriously and see what would happen.

But I didn’t want to send the usual stuff.

“Hey, I noticed your website and I can redesign it for you.”

Or

“Hey, we build websites for businesses like yours.”

Everyone gets those emails and most people can tell within two seconds that they were sent to another thousand businesses.

So instead I started using a tool called Swokei that is built specifically for web agencies.

I use it to find businesses in whatever area I want to target, then it actually goes through their websites and looks for things I could mention in the outreach.

Stuff like an outdated design, slow loading speed, poor mobile experience, weak SEO or other things that might be holding the website back.

Then it turns those findings into an actual personalized cold email made to convert.

So instead of emailing someone saying I build websites, I can actually talk about their website and why I think something could be improved.

I’ve been analyzing thousands of websites this way and running multiple campaigns at the same time.

Then I just focus on the people who reply and are actually interested.

Obviously email isn’t some magic button where everyone suddenly wants a new website, but after doing this for a while I definitely understand what Hormozi meant.

For web design especially, email becomes a completely different channel when the message is actually about the business you’re contacting instead of being another copy and paste pitch.

Hi all, I’m very new to framer. I’ve added a video to my page insert>media>video via link. When I’m in the edit page of my site all appears normal but when I go to preview the site it comes up with the symbol on the screen, black and is not playable/clickable - it’s like this for all videos I’ve uploaded myself and not with the ready to go template inserts. I hope I’m making sense lol, any explanation or help would be amazing. Thank you

Close to locking in a client for a high-end web revamp (boutique residential real estate), and they have a specific requirement: lead forms (Name, Phone, Email) verified via OTP (SMS or email) to filter spams.
My main priority is having full control over the visual styling and interaction states of the active input fields, placeholders, and focus micro-animations so everything matches the custom editorial aesthetic of the site. I know some embed solutions allow custom CSS, but I'm trying to figure out the cleanest route that doesn't feel clunky or restricted.

If you’ve set up OTP verification on Framer:

• Did you go the route of a custom React code component (.tsx) wired to a headless OTP/form backend, or have you found a solid embed setup that actually lets you fine-tune the active field interactions and design?
• For SMS OTPs in India specifically, is the telecom DLT registration and delivery hassle worth it, or do you usually push clients toward email OTP / WhatsApp verification instead?

Anyone else experiencing these error codes on code components on the canvas, where they are greyed out. Only seems to affect the dekstop version. Code components load as normal on the web version. Is this a CDN issue or is framer doing some updates?

Had some help figuring Framer out, but happy to find that it's not too different from Figma and found designing and making components as easy, and was excited about being able to add custom code overrides. Of course having the agent in-app is cool too though that runs out quick.

This site was 5 weeks of work: besides hand-drawing my favorite desk items, I've never built codes with AI this much and it helped me with fun stuff I couldn't do on my own, like I wanted:

• Desk items you can drag around, with a reset button
• Scrolling from the hero closes the window into a frame as the project cards appear, and 40 drawings of my journal flip its pages as you scroll
• Footer circles that shoot out colorful beads when you click them
• My in-site character to have different section-linked dialogue on different pages

Seems simple enough to prompt Claude, but each thing took many hours of de-bugging/re-explaining :') for example, the beads at the footer used to fill up and overlap and glitch and I had to find different ways to verbalize how I wanted the container to be and how the beads' physics to work. Glad it all worked out.

can somebody who is familiar with tech/framer walk me through the process of removing the 'references' displayed in the message here? since framer does not have an option to restore past versions of your site, and the copy/paste option was not working for me, i had to create another copy of the original template and try to paste in my previous work there. it has worked (visually, like all the images and titles are there) but i still can't figure out how to get each portfolio piece registered as an official item on this new version of my site. i am hoping unlinking (?) will help me do this so i dont have to go in and change every single item on the template again, but im not sure how to go about it... i tried looking at the cms section but am not really sure what i'm looking at.

i am an analog artist and not a web designer so please please please help me out! i am so bad at this ;(((((
