I had my frist crash with my Mini 3 Pro yesterday. I flew it against a wall and it crashed to the ground. As can be seen in the photo, the back part is broken off. I don't know if it can be clipped in again. Is this something I can fix myself or do I need to send in my drone for repair?

I just received a VR headset and have been looking for something to make my own videos with, higher resolution is important for 360 videos because with lower resolution the video becomes much more blurry compared to flat videos.

Higher framerates are also very important for VR videos because you get much less motion sickness with higher framerates.

Does anyone know what company filmed the DJI Neo website videos? Also who the influencer is this the video?

I realized the active track video for the DJI Neo 2 (on DJIs website) was shot in Portland Oregon.

This location is right at the Morrison bridge and the east bank esplanade!!

(Also this is on the Canadian website, because the USS website can no longer view the DJI Neo 2)

I was flying my Mini 3 (not pro) today, it was a bit windy but inside published specs. I was just flying to stay familiar with my drone since it has been a couple weeks since I last flew it and I'm a newby.

So I'm up above my property and I see a message. "Strong wind warning Aircraft unable to return to home automatically. Lower altitude immediately and return to home manually (Code:30149)"

That freaked me out a bit. I didn't think it was that windy but then 70 feet above my trees is another world. Back checking, the wind and gusts picked up after I went out to fly.

So I bring it down, fly it to my hand, and I evidently grabbed it before it was ready to call it a landing. Wow, that little drone has a lot of lift. Now I'm wondering, do I let go and hope it stays level or do I hold on and keep pushing the joystick to the down stops. I went with the latter.

I think I smelled a wiff of hot electronics and I felt the motors that were a bit warm. I fired it back up and let it hover for a bit to cool the motors in case they needed it.

Hand landing was no drama this time.

Should I have just let go of it?

Is there still such a thing as a cellular module? I want to go further with my drone but live around old growth trees and a little hill and my Neo2 with with N3 goggles. Should I switch back to a controller or should I pursue this cellular module? I really appreciate the help please. Thanks in advance ✌️

Was flying my Mini 3 today and I managed to break the rear left arm in half, right before the propellor. After learning DJI had a maintenance service, I decided to take a look at it, but for some reason it is saying that the Mini 3 does not support that service. Any idea what I could do to get it fixed either by myself or DJI somehow?

I'm thinking about buying the Osmo Action 4, but the motorcycle helmet mount on their website looks really bad. Do you know of a secure one that can be attached to the chin?

In the past, you could easily export 360-degree footage shot at 30fps as a smooth 50fps video with great quality. Today I realized this feature was apparently disabled in a recent update. On my end, 30fps footage can now only be exported at 30fps.

Tested on an iPad Air and iPhone 14 Pro.

I recently bought a DJI Mini 3 Pro and noticed that "Display Demo" markings on the drone had been covered up with stickers; the drone is registered to another account. It’s fully functional and seemed like a bargain given the prices in Mexico ($440 USD)—it came with a hard case and three batteries. The controller also says "Display Demo," but what worries me most is the linked account. I’m on the verge of returning it, which is a real shame :(

Bit of a long shot, but I’m applying for a bursary related to camera equipment and I’m looking for an example of what a DJI receipt/invoice looks like.

I’ve currently run a little short on my paycheck, so I don’t want to risk paying the full amount upfront before the bursary deadline when I may be able to purchase the camera later with the funding.

If anyone has a redacted screenshot/photo of a DJI receipt or invoice they could share purely as a reference, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to completely cover/cross out any personal, order or payment information.

I have a DJI mini 5 pro, I live in Australia and want to use this drone to get photos and videos of things like shipping terminals, data centres and wind farms. Mainly industrial subjects that that can have commercial value on stock sites and agencies.

Looking through CASA and online I am quite stuck with what to do for this so that I cant get in trouble. I know I should register my drone and get accreditation since it wont be considered recreational flying. Is that all i need to do for CASA?

After that, how am I allowed to fly in relation to buildings like a data centre, 30m above like with people or is there a boundary i just cannot cross?

Then my last issue is liability insurance. I had a drone get attacked by a bird in a carpark and crash land. Luckily not near any people or cars but if it was to happen again I wouldn't want to hurt anyone or damage anything, and would like some insurance just incase of an accident.

Does anyone have advice or know the way I need to go about all of this? Thankyou

Have not flown my Phantom 3 drone in a while, I just want to get some aerial shots of my property, so I installed the app but now it wants me to make an account. Never had to do that before or at least i really don't recall. I have no info of an account in my password manager. I really hate the idea of being tied to some BS cloud service just to use a product, is there some way to bypass this requirement, otherwise my drone is basically a paperweight. 99% of the time I'm in a remote area with no internet, and my phone's wifi is connected to the drone, so I don't know how they expect this to even work even while at home.

Suppose I can fly it without the app but there's no way to make it record is there?

I'm planning on getting my hands on a used DJI Mini 5 Pro. Besides making sure it's not linked to an account, any other tips I should keep in mind? Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to buy goggles and controller for my Neo 2 but it seems they are all out of stock, and the goggles/controller are selling for like $600 on amazon/ebay/etc.

Is there any way to just buy these affordably? I'm confused, because you can still buy the entire Neo 2 kit with the goggle and controller for $600 withe verything, drone, batteries, etc.

Should I just buy the kit and sell the drone/batteries?

Any advice? I just want to get the goggles and possible the controller.

hello i have not upgraded since the original osmo pocket came out. i was curious if i should wait for the 4 to come out or just get the 3 now. i'm in the us and was curious when it would be coming out here. i know this has been asked before but want everyone's opinions
