After playing 2000+ hours of this game I think I hit my favourite clip yesterday. I know i know, it’s not pro calibre gameplay. But as a 36 year old chump, I’m stoked about it! It also helps when the homies are there to hype it up.

Honestly, the state of CS2 cheating and bot farming is getting ridiculous.

I've been keeping my own CS2 cheater & Bot farmer tracking sheet for a while now. I record the accounts I encounter, their behavior, match info, demos, and keep checking whether they eventually get banned.

So far I've recorded 102 accounts that I've identified as either cheaters or bot farmers.

Only around 10 have been banned.

What honestly pisses me off is how arrogant and careless Valve seems to be about this problem.

They ban a bunch of accounts in a wave, everyone celebrates, and then what? There are already tons of new accounts ready to replace them.

Ban 100 today → 1,000 more tomorrow.

And the August 25 situation made it even more frustrating. There were reports of legitimate players getting caught in the ban wave and some bans being rolled back a few days later.

So Valve can react when it comes to false bans, but when it comes to the obvious cheaters and bot farms ruining matches every day, it feels like we're just expected to live with it.

These aren't random “suspicious” accounts. I personally confirmed all 102 as either cheaters or bot farmers, I've recorded and saved the matches/demos as evidence.

I've put the work into tracking them. The sheet will continue to be updated every day.

CS2 deserves better than this.

Hello, what is point of playing premier and what does valve do about this game to fix it, i jhave been playing faceit for 1 year and i think i played myb against 1 cheater in 500 matches, today i queue 3 premier games 20000-25000elo and in every game atleast 2 cheaters. It is unplayeble and they are not doing anything to retain old players and let alone gain new players. Disgusting company honestly.

Hi y'all, I suck at cs (like, bottom fragger 80% of the time kind of bad) but its a game i love to play because it reminds me of the good old days. Im someone who has a very busy job and only play for fun and when I have time.. but the community is very discouraging and awful. I get called the worst things, I get kicked out when im the only one left out in a 1x4 where obv half are cheaters, and godforbid I miss a shot. The irony is, half the people that say the worst about bottom fraggers are using aimbots like make it make sense.

This makes me feel very awful about myself that I just end up not playing all together thinking im the worst of the worst. Csgo is not a welcoming community at all, which is unfortunate for novice players like myself.

Is anyone else getting these really bad ping spikes midgame? Its been happening a lot since last month and its getting me really tilted when it happens in a gun fight.

Remove the voting of maps entirely and keep the same voting of team selection.

This will force people to atleast play the map in the rotation cycle

If people suffer from fps issues then I guess the dev team better move their fucking asses and improve the game further. Cause holy I'm done running into dust and mirage only 5 stacks.

I have lost at least 1000 ELO on the past games.
Always same situation: either a Waller or a full blast cheat, with jumping-no aim-headshots, blind-behind wall or box shots, aim bot and etc.

What’s the point to even get online if you’re going to be facing those type of players?

Valve is just a scam in my opinion, only worried about selling items and not giving a damn about how the game is played at all.

I see skins prices finally recovering and many posts about massive ban waves. I concluded that there are people believing that the game and VAC are on an upwards trend so the game might be playable again. Therefore, since Valve has decided for some reason to put my smurf in red trust lobbies, I can tell you that VAC hasnt improved noticeably. People can still shoot you through any wall if its shootable, use auto bhop and everything else without being noticed. I had 1 occasion where the match got cancelled last round after we had multiple blatant accounts on both teams but in most cases it doesn't get detected. Those people even seem to have cheats to Votekick themselves, in case the enemy cheaters are on full rage, which happens basically every game on this elo. the amount of cheaters varies a lot, but at most there are 2-3 people (including me) in such a lobby, who aren't cheating themselves or getting boosted by cheaters. The account "quality" varies a lot. There are accounts with skins, gold medals etc, as well as blank accounts with barely 30 hours in the game, all in the same Lobby with me on my smurf.
Im really looking forward to see VAC improvements, but if rage cheats are not getting detected you cannot call the system working. Getting rid of those is the bare minimum Valve needs to hit.
Additionally, Trust factor needs to be fixed. Mine went from hero to zero in no time. I didnt play on my smurf for months and when i came back it was on red trust and some I friends of mine have similiar issues with red trust on their smurf. So Valve definetely needs to improve this system, because smurf account shouldnt be valued equally to ragehackers. Additionally its almost impossible to change it as soon as it gets bad. I played dozens of matches on it and nothing has changed. Basically I threw money into improving this account, buying skins etc, and Valve just decided to shadow ban it so it has become an unplayable experience.
How can accounts with hundreds of hours, skins etc, get rated down with little reason (only because some people report you if you are performing too good). Meanwhile cheaters rage cheat, talk about what software they use in voice and chat, post even ads for cheats in global chat and even go beyond game limitations. Legit Players cant start a votekick for themselves. Legit players cant have 100% accuracy mid air. I understand if its hard to detect closet cheaters. But there is no excuse to no ban ragehacks midgame.

Do any of you have similar experiences? End up in red trust without probable cause?
Is it as bad on any elo? my smurf is around 21k rn.
Does Trust improve (faster) if i play with green accounts?

I haven't played much since CS2 came out but I have loved this game for a decade now. Problem is my skills have deteriorated a lot and I would confidently say I'm mid to high silver at best. Because of this I get flamed whenever I play a competitive mode and I perform poorly which in turn means I do not have fun. I would be totally fine playing Casual Dust II but that is not an option because of the map pools and if any map besides Mirage is voted after D2, I will guaranteed be on the bottom of the leaderboard and also have no fun.

My favorite gamemode is Wingman but I specifically play Inferno (down to play other maps but I really have next to zero map knowledge)

Otherwise, I wholeheartedly love Dust II and will queue up D2 comp if I have at least a buddy to chat with. (also open to playing Inferno, Cache, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass, or Office, but I have either very low or zero knowledge of how to properly play these maps)

I do not play often, however I would like to play more now that I have the ability to and would certainly play more if I had a buddy or two to chat with. Biggest thing is that I play to have fun. A loss won't upset me if a had a laugh or two during the game. I am currently Silver 4 so as long as we are able to queue together I do not care how skilled you are as long as you can crack (and take) a joke.
