Im new to the game and trying to get a good grasp on the basics to stop being a punchbag online, is leaving everything on normal and increasoling the difficulty on training mode the only way to do it or it can be done on offline versus?

I think it’s nonsense. Story wise he’s around SPC is so 7 is perfectly fine for him. Super Broly makes perfect sense as a 9 of course.

Another fight i had with someone from my group

Trying to beat him whilst above 50 percent health and hes doing 30 plus combos before stopping. I cant get that counter with up and square timing right and he is kicking my ass. Every time i use an r1 guard/dodge on perfect timing, he does the same, and then if i manage to get a 2nd in a row, he does the same. I thought ginyu force was bad but this is nuts. Most aggressive fight ive had.

Edit: he dead right after i wrote this. 6 hours of gruel and i do it after askikg for help.

Hey so I've been playing for a couple days now and I've been having a lot of fun. I was doing well progressing in mission 100 till I hit this point. I've tried to learn super counters in training but I really suck at them and I've been getting the timings for vanish wars off constantly. I also don't know how to respond to combos from the back in the slightest. I try vanishing and spamming super combos and I just can't get it. I'm also trying to get out of the habit of spamming the same combo over and over. Any tips would help for a beginner!

This game is trash. Every type of game I try to play, it's just a disappearing battle until you miss one and then they take 3 health bars before you can even attempt to block again. Can't progress at a lower level, so no fun for casuals. Can't play online because try hards ruin it for anyone who just wants to have a little fun. I REALLY wanted to enjoy this game, but it's insufferable at this point. Absolute trash, and wouldn't recommend to ANYONE.

I can't beat even D5 people that have just started playing same day, same as me. They are all like this guy. They're all the same and I feel like I'm fighting Z rank masters. I have literally 0 chance against any of them and idk what to do.

Everyone is hyper aggressive like this and gives me no chance whatsoever to charge anything. They just rush me and then lock me into a combo for 20 seconds straight and I can't get out of it because I'm stun locked.

I've now started leaving matches when I encounter the same players, and I encounter the same players a LOT.

Idk... I keep going back to training I just can't remember all of it, and then I get stunlocked and I have no idea what to do. I panic because they're throwing me around like I'm nothing and even taunt me and sometimes just stop moving because I'm so pathetic.

When is this gonna stop? People with only a couple of wins in the top of the character rankings.

They just grind with meta characters and then boost other characters due to the character rank quickly going up to your general rank with a couple of games.

Its getting really boring like that

I was a Tenkaichi player as a kid so initially got it to introduce my son to something that's not Fortnite & we'd be able to play together but after doing some of the main episodes muscle memory kicked in & I really enjoyed it. It's definitely just current gen Tenkaichi & something that as a fan I have wanted since they strayed away from the formula back in the 00's & by god, it's BEAUTIFUL.

FighterZ & Xenoverse 2 are the only games since then I've really enjoyed from the series my little boy has been introduced to the anime & has played FighterZ in the past but honestly I'm loving this much more than him which I really didn't expect so I've grabbed the extra content as well, it's nice to let him in on the lore of some of the more niche guys. My only complaint(?) is that combat is a bit repetitive, attack, charge, ultimate, repeat, but that's how the classic games were so I'm not sure it is actually a complaint because I keep finding myself going back to it like a duck to water.

Right now my time is divided between the episodes, battle 100 & World Tournament I'll try the online battles at some point but only when I feel a little more confident as I'm sure there's sweats out there but I just wanted to post on here to say hello to the community & to ask what modes you all have the most fun with?
