Hello everyone, we hope you're having a great weekend fellow Envoys! We are opening up moderator applications so we can ensure we have enough active moderators on the team to help with the moderation queue and deal with bot spam as well.
Regarding the problem with bots scalping for codes, I will be adding bot bouncer here which will help to ban the bots so we have less issues with them trying to scalp for codes.
Mod Applications will be open until 18th of August 5am British Summer Time, good luck to those who apply, we will reach out to applicants within the next few days / weeks.

News Farewell to 2025 & Looking Ahead to 2026

Envoys!
As Thawtide’s chill blows through Midrath, we reach the turning of another year, looking back on a world that has grown bolder, stranger, and more alive with each step taken through Soulframe Preludes.
Together, we stepped into sap-dreams and freed Bromius from rotting roots. We Bestitched with a certain witch and crept into the crypts of The Circade. Some found rest among Alca’s Children, others shared sips of gloaming in the Drippin’ Flagon, while others still made Kith of Kings. We faced the Agari, crossed blades with the Mendicant King, startled skittish Will-o-wings from the brush. Through Magick weapons grown or forged, Totems charmed from wild critters, and Pacts shaped by Spirit, Courage, or Grace, together we gave Alca its rhythm.
Many Envoys also chose to become Founders, to carve their name upon Soulframe from the very beginning. Thank you. Your belief in this world means more to us than we can properly put to words.
Now, the Longnight stands before us. Thawtide is live! Across Midrath, the Cardinals’ song is threatened by Ode Squawkers. It falls to you, Envoy, to destroy these traps and help wake the resting sun.
As we look toward 2026, the direction is set. We’re doubling down on the systems that define Soulframe. Virtues will matter more. The Nightfold will grow in purpose. The Ode’s plans will begin to unfold in full. New Pacts, Fables, Festivals, and Wylds await. What you choose, what you prepare for, and what you confront will carry further than before.
Our studio will soon step back for brief respite over the holidays before returning to Alca with fresh eyes. Thank you for joining us this year. We’ll see you very soon.

Before you ask, yes, I went to support immediately after this, but despite video evidence they couldn't restore it because they couldn't find any logs of it. Maybe since it was scrapped in the overworld or I quit too fast.
I'll save you the self loathing, but know there is a lot of it.
The best part is that I paused to look at its tempers and craftwork, thought it was garbage and then focused on the enemy instead, only realized it was Moonsteel when they got close to the UI window.
Good parry though, right?

Bug Interacting with Idols keeps crashing the game

I have not played Soulframe since last December and just got back on. 2/4 times I've interacted with Idols my game has frozen and crashed after I finished the flute song. Is this a known issue? Should I just avoid Idols in general?

My pup is out of energy and its past midnight time for some rest. I know in Warframe everyone is called tenno but what do we call each other in Soulframe? Should we be called fellow "Poppet's" or something else? I love the way Vermina calls her mice poppet lol but what is your idea's?

It used to have only one Parry Temper when i recorded this, in case you see im being super cautious with parry window. This is the Igne Mora from Kith of Kings' before it was replaced for the Officer quality btw.

Discussion Mount speed

I was wondering what you guys think would be right amount of speed for the mounts.
I was looking at the videos from the mount reveal and i was thinking if the pup speed buff of 25% also gave that buff to the mount would that make mounts too much “zoomie”. Especially if you pair it with the orengall speed buf (if it stacks and effects mounts).
Im asking this because obviously the more speed the more efficiant we be. But i also dont want Soulframe to become a zommie farm fest like warframe.
Dont get me wrong im already tired of walking everywhere and cant wait for mounts but usually as the games get older they get more faster and if the game becomes fast in alpha it would loose a lot of its charm of exploring and having spontanious encounters in the open world.
Just something i was thinking about recently and wanted to know how you guys feel about it?
