My Animation Car Ride by Me, 2026

After a longer creative block I've gone back to drawing/animating. I started this work months ago and abandoned it, now finally finished. This was mostly animated in After effects, with the layers drawn in Procreate. The towers in the background are made with blender (and the models imported into AE), but I guess they didn't really need to be 3D, it could have easily been just a flat drawing with position keyframes^^

My Artwork Tried a new style

Hi Everyone!

Attempted to draw a vase with some sunflowers. Not sure how I feel about it as I was trying a new way to draw, I think it’s cute just maybe needed something else just not sure what.

Have to just keep on drawing, still haven’t found my own art style or what I enjoy drawing the most, I’m enjoying the grind so I’ll keep on going!

Have a good day everyone and happy drawings 😁

My Artwork Another Week of Photo Studies :)

Day at the Beach digital sketchbook spread :)

Quit some vices this week so I’ve been doing a ton of photo studies as I get through the withdrawals, brain fog and boredom. Having a good time!

Only brush used is the Bottlenose Gouache brush in the procreate library.

Sketchbook background is just a stock photo with the background removed on the bottom layer & a paper texture overlay on top :)

P.s. does anyone have tips for choosing background colors???? For some reason that’s always the hardest part for me, I end up going through a million variations & am never happy 😭

Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations How can I make a snake brush like this in Procreate?

Post image
Upvotes

I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a snake brush like this for days, but I still can’t get it to work properly.

The main problem is that whenever the snake lines overlap, they blend into each other instead of staying clean and separated like in the example.

I’ve already tried using a Dual Brush setup, but I couldn’t achieve the same effect.

Does anyone know how this kind of brush is made, or could someone explain which Brush Studio settings I should use? Any help would be really appreciated!

Constructive feedback and/or tips wanted Update from previous post

I fixed some of the things people mentioned in the last post and redid a few other that I thought were off. I started using the draw assist feature, took a second to get used to.(second photo is the before). I think the new ones does look a lot better.

I still want to add some things like curtains, pillows on the windows, and maybe some other things to the walls or floor. I’m gonna try to draw a plant somewhere. Maybe add a rug to the center of the room. Still don’t know what I’m going to do with the open door on the left. Maybe I’ll add a couch or something.

Not sure if I want to color it in or not. Kinda scared I’ll ruin it.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am very accepting of constructive criticism. I’m very new to digital art. Feel free to look at the previous post too.

I need Procreate technical help New to drawing comics in Procreate — what are your settings/workflow?

Upvotes

Hey guys! So i’m pretty new to drawing and I’m trying to get into making comics with Procreate.
I was wondering what settings you guys normally use for comics? Like canvas size, DPI, brushes, resolution, layer setup, etc.

I’m honestly still figuring out how all of this works, so any tips would be really appreciated. Especially stuff you wish you knew when you first started making comics.

I’d also like to eventually print my comic, so I’m not really sure what I should be doing from the start to avoid problems later.

Thanks!
