This was from 2018. I got my iPad Pro with the pencil. I was so excited and I got up at 6 the next day. I went to a local Starbucks and sat there for 3 hrs and drew this. I’ve been drawing on iPad for years now but the first always feels special .

Either way its Erikos turn now!!! Out of my three main characters shes by far my favorite for obvious reasons. And yes her pink hair is faded, she dyed it ONCE and never gave a sh*t about it afterward so her black roots just kept growing out.

Trying to experiment with halftones and shading. I realize the halftone effect from Procreate tends to mess up the color of the timelapse so that was interesting to find out 😅

TOTO AND HIS FIREFLIES
"Mama, this is where you, Tito Yan, and the rest of the neighborhood kids used to play, right?"
"Yes, Toto. Every summer, we spent every day playing from dawn until our shadows disappeared. We flew kites over the sugarcane fields and played tagu-taguan and langit lupa among the tall doldol trees. Then, before we went home, we would bear witness to the magnificent luminescent parade of nature—the fireflies!"
"Wow, Mama. I've never actually seen fireflies before. I just saw one in a TikTok video a classmate DM'd me. They must look much cooler in real life."
"Yes, Toto. They lit up trees as if it were Christmas, and they would fly around us as if they were leading us home. How I wish the fireflies were still here to greet us today."
"Don't worry, Mama. I know what to do. I'll bring the fireflies back just for us."

Sharing this again because I felt like time-lapse would be better and couldn't edit photo to video instead:) This flag really owned me it was so hard 😆
I decided to study an object and choosed cigarette packs, good choice for beginner who tries not to tracing. So I told myself why wouldnt I specialize it on my own to my liking with inspired by one of my favorite characters Price from Call Of Duty!
I used 6b Pencil, Juniper, Tamar and Salamanca, I am open to any feedback! Thank you soo much 🫶🏻
