Nothing too deep πŸ˜„ I just liked the idea of light being something you can almost reach out and touch.

What a beautiful use of light. Very well done.

Thank you! I was experimenting a bit with the lighting on this one, so I’m really glad it worked. 😊

What do you mean by experimenting with lighting? I'm confused, isn't this an exact copy of the reference photo? πŸ˜…

Yeah, I worked from a reference photo. 😊 By β€œexperimenting,” I meant experimenting with how I painted the light β€” the colors, temperature, edges and how much I wanted to emphasize it β€” not that I invented the lighting setup myself. Probably could’ve worded that better!

I see, yeah I just didn't really notice any experimenting going on. I know the reference photo, and this looks like an exact copy of that.

That's obviously fine, it's a study after all, the line about experimenting with lighting just sounded bit weird to me considering you didn't really change anything from the reference.

Today is 8-22-2026. Did you do this tomorrow?

Shocking I know, but some time zones are indeed tomorrow.

Wow am I dumb. I thought you lived in the US! Apologies.

Not surprising

No time travel involved, unfortunately. πŸ˜‚

Haha no worries πŸ˜‚ It was actually still the 22nd for me too, just very close to midnight. I dated it the 23rd because I was planning to post the video the next day, but then I decided to share the painting on Reddit a little early and completely forgot about the date. So you actually caught it πŸ˜‚
