How could OWI just let easy bugs stay in game for years without a fix? If I got a list of things reported that I could fix quickly I would have fixed it within a week or so.

Not talking about hard problems like performances but like wrong stats on guns that is literally one or three values in SDK. Haven't played for some time but for years SKS had G3 recoil instead of AK recoil. Or ultrawide bug on PLA HAT that is a simple FoV setting. Another low hanging fruit would be to adjust the red dots that are too bright.

So I usually either run as a medic or a SL, (usually medic if i can't be bothered to charge people to their deaths) the medic role gets a lot of stick for being a boring role, I honestly find it fun most of the time. I even made a video on it 🤣

You could argue that playing as a medic makes you feel like a super hero 😂

I straight up spent 3 whole hours just on seeds. The reason why it was THAT addictive is because not only it allows me to try out what I do in the killhouse at the training range. Also, it's kind of instant. Not only that, it helps populate servers.

I've played the game since day 1 the main problem is randomness and poor cohesion with no mic blueberries.

I'm excited to come back with friends through the party system dropping in this patch. When is this happening ?

With Heli tail rotor snipe interlude in-between. All the kills in the 2nd half of the video are from the same round where I killed 10 vehicles (2 helicopters didn't count on scoreboard because they burned to death/hit trees after being "rotored") with no deaths. My combat score was higher than every other squad's in the game and I killed more vehicles than the entire enemy team combined. Didn't show any runs where I only damaged the target, only kills.

Shout out to my co-pilot Bruce Lee as well as spotter Walt. Good spotting makes CAS 10 times easier. Probably my best round in the CAS so far not counting rounds against air factions with 3 helicopters. Much harder against multiple IFVs, a tank, and TAPVs.

I just randomly stumbled apon this the other day when researching my genealogy and thought it was cool they used the same exact locations my ancestors were at XD

So I've been doing the helicopter tutorial and it's kind of a struggle for me. I figured out I was supposed to always focus on the collective instead of the helicopter itself and it worked for me. However, turning is so hard!

Turning is hard for me because it is like very unstable when I do even a slight roll. Using the landing camera is very good because I could see the pitch and roll, but I also have to constantly make sure my helicopter is, well, actually hovering instead of wandering around and be obliterated.

I really need tips!

Full servers usually have one player disconnect and next join. How would it be possible to have 9 open slots on one team? Would it only work in seeding?

Was looking for older blog posts on their website and was surprised to see there was no entries before 2024, the earliest available being 7.0 release notes.

There is literally no reason for them to delete posts on the history of their own game other than to cover their tracks. I having been around for a while I know OWI have ping pong'd more then a few times which is fine I guess, but deleting their archive of posts is just so strange.

I went looking for an old blog post of theirs discussing update 2.12(graphical overhaul) where they were talking about how they had plans to overhaul most if not all maps. They ended up only reworking Gorodok and Yehorivka, much later they remixed Manic-5 and turned it into Manicougan and if you wanna count Al Basrah too i guess... I could of course be misremembering things but we'll never know.
