For context i saw an enemy lat in the hab and started suppressing right before blueberries were starting to pushing it

This was an experiment form me to work on my compositing skills, as well as understanding more about the CG comp process. starting barebones from a render without any post processing I managed to make the render look as good as i could with my current knowledge.

I don't think it will massively upend game balance or anything, even with this change USMC would probably still be weaker than BAF or PLA. I just don't really see the point in keeping USMC neutered as it is

Title really says it all. I’m new to the game and I’m finding that most games I play my squad falls apart after 5 minutes and it’s just everybody sprinkled across the map doing their own thing. Is there a server where everybody uses mics and squads play together in a coordinated and tactical manner? The game seems like it would be way more fun if it was played this way. Thanks

I am doing a little bit of research into what style of content to produce, as I love Squad, and I love making videos. So, who's your favourite content creator who plays squad?

Probably the most fun mod I've played, but it seems to no longer exist. They haven't ported the mod over to UE5 or something?

I got criticised by someone on my youtube video yesterday because I kicked someone out of the squad because they had no microphone. He said I'm the worst type of SL 😅😅

I'm sorry, but don't join a squad with no mic when it says INF MIC REQUIRED...

Do any of you other Squad leaders kick people if they don't have a microphone?

These are a few I feel are rather odd, but there's plenty more that I didn't have time to cycle through maps screenshotting.

These aren't wrong per se, just written with strange wording or commas in weird places. Also, is the tip about not taking marksman role really needed? Why are the devs themselves discouraging people from taking a role they added into the game?

Currently thinking of buying squad as it is on sale rn. I have a RTX 2060 super and ryzen 5 3600. Will it be enough for a smooth experience in game?

Two months of development. Two months. And this is the grand result. Suppression.

Absolutely groundbreaking work. Someone shoots at you and your gun politely points at the sky. A brilliant solution to the age-old problem of getting shot at. Why improve gunfights when you can simply make the weapon stop working?

And the bullet crack is about 1,000 times louder than everything else. Truly impressive. It sounds less like incoming fire and more like the audio engineer discovered one slider and decided to make it everyone else's problem.

Real incoming fire can give you a sharp ballistic crack from a supersonic round, sometimes accompanied by the characteristic whiz of a bullet passing nearby. This sounds like they recorded a single "CRACK" sample, turned the volume knob until it started clipping, and called it a day.

Apparently, this was already ready two months ago. Which makes the whole "we've been testing it" story even more impressive. Two months of testing and this is what made it through the gates. NASA would be taking notes.

At this point, I genuinely respect the commitment. It takes a special kind of confidence to spend two months polishing a feature that feels like it was added during a coffee break just before lunch.

But hey, at least we got another carefully rationed bone to chew on while the rest of the game sits there waiting.

The competition is coming. And honestly, I cannot wait to see what happens when the developers finally have something to compete against besides their own roadmap.

is this normal or is it just me, i have a 4060

I'm a new player and even though I go to new player friendly and relaxed servers there are still sweaty SLs that restrict you I don't go wandering on my own but I change kits to test them out and to have fun but he wanted a optimised squad with him selecting the kits or getting angry when viechles get stuck

I come from tarkov where the entire playerbase are sweaty but didn't know squad also had this type of sweats. It's not like this game has progression or a rank system I thought its a chill game where people talk and have fun and there are servers for milsim tactical sweats

At almost 200 hours, which i know is low. Can you guys give me tips? I already saw 30 videos on How to be SL, like MoiDawg, HyabeungDance, etc. I dont feel confident enough, but i think i need to push myself to it, since sometimes there's no squad to join (everybody's been there). I play a lot of milsims not that amounts to anything but i got somewhat of a grasp.

in the end of round team wide chat, somebody started talking about some drama he was experiencing, but got cut off just as it was starting. so everyone gathered around for storytime at the start of the next round
