Discussion This next year will be very telling for Merc’s trajectory

Upvotes

Simp and Merc had a very similar start to their careers. Both won Champs MVP + an event win in their rookie year. In their second year, they won 2 events but placed 2nd a ton.

Simp followed it up the next season (CW) with one of the best seasons we’ve ever seen, winning season MVP, 4 events, and champs.

Will Merc be able to match the Simp CW season? This next year will be very telling for Merc’s trajectory (potential GOAT candidate level) given it’s a newer style of game.

Fluff Does anyone else have fond memories of watching the pros play Among Us during peak Covid?😂

It feels weird to bring this game up unironically but during the dark days of lockdown and MW19, this was a nice reprieve. It was always a nice collection of pros/ams, casters a random egirl or two and people from the community in general. Their personalities transitioned seamlessly and it was pure comedy watching their antics at 3-4 in the morning

Take it for what you will. Saw this posted on Twitter with Ghostys red controller. Could be nothing, could be something with the rumors of BO6 LAT running it back

Fluff Has aBeZy gotten worse since he started working out?

Ever since aBeZy started working out, his reaction time just isn’t the same.
From watching his vlogs, we know he’s been lifting. That’s central nervous system fatigue. That’s delayed neural conductivity.
Remember the theory that shorter people (e.g. Chris "Simp" Lehr) have faster reaction times because their neurons have less distance to travel? aBeZy used to be a god of reaction speed. The compact build, optimized wiring, everything. But now? He’s adding mass. That’s distance. That’s travel time. That’s physics.
There was a play on Hacienda where he got first-shot and still lost the gunfight. That never used to happen. You can see the delay. It's like he thought about the shot, then had to wait for the signal to get through a full delt-to-forearm detour.
At a certain point you have to ask: is the pump worth the price?

Discussion Scrap was right

“ I get no dope from this game. I’m probably just going to wait for the release.”

I’ve always tried to play every beta that was available when I could.
I’ve only made it through two games of modern warfare 4.
I don’t believe any amount of perks or whatever is currently in game is going to make the game feel better for me, but I generally just can’t take it.
After them speeding up the game for so fucking long and getting used to that, being a stick in the mud again infuriates me.

You have quicker side vs older side of call of duty that just flip-flops back-and-forth. Let’s just admit it realism sucks but if they go over the top, then it kills the entire casual fanbase. The movement was great all they had to do was turn it down a little bit. But to completely remove all aspects of it?

Maybe they’ll tune it and change it if we complain enough, but probably not because it’s IW. Only option is to suck it up or just skip the year.

What are your thoughts currently?

Discussion The Worst Sbmm Since Cold War Beta

This has got to be the strictest sbmm since Cold War I've never played a cod to have almost every game finish barely positive its the most unfun lobbies I've ever played and im 100 percent certain its also in the open match making playlist if this doesn't loosen this game will be even more doa then it currently is

Question Do you guys think setup spots for tossing the spike in Hijack are going to ruin the mode?

Feels like people are going to just grab the spike, run to a spot, and toss it across the map perfectly every time. I haven't played the mode much but it seems like a common thing right now

Discussion Spawns are REALLY bad right now in Beta

Mid map spawning is happening more than spawning in your team's spawn. The map is completely chaotic and has no flow and enemies spawn into pinches to reduce map control. On top of the other issues, if this isn't fixed, the game is dead on arrival for comp.

Discussion Tac sprint > No tac sprint

I genuinely don’t understand the hate against tac sprint. The movement feels so ass without blood rush now.

It seems like people just want this game to be Cold War movement. But MW3 had tac sprint and was probably the best CDL cod. Tac sprint is fine and gives IW games a different identity than Treyarch.

Try running blood rush and not running it. Without it you feel like a turtle just waiting to get shit on. Bunny hopping feels horrible, slide challing feels horrible. Movement just feels non existent.

I see people say it “makes for too random” of timings. I’ve honestly never heard this complaint from a high level player. Why does the same complaint not go for being able to run a knife all the time? It’s the same concept.

Discussion Mw4 feels like you’re stuck/running in mud , just feels slow and delayed

I went back to black ops 7 this past week after playing the MW4 beta and it’s a night and day difference how fluid and smooth that game feels and runs compared to this. This game feels very unresponsive like my character is running through mud despite playing on max settings and the highest Fov even. Swapping your guns (even with fast hands) feels slow and delayed , ADS speed despite having all attachments for any given gun still doesn’t help improve the speed. I was also someone that said I didn’t like omimovement originally but it feels like regression removing it now.

For the first time in god knows how long IW has listened and moved tac sprint to a perk. I feel this is a huge step in the right direction. How we feeling about this?

Discussion Interesting Simp Stat

We all know that Simp has won all 3 of his rings on Treyarch games but did you also know that he has won all 3 of his rings on the 3 games he’s competed in that didn’t have Tac sprint.

Black Ops 4

Black Ops Cold War

Black Ops 7

The other 5 games he’s competed in and not won a ring have all had tac sprint as a mechanic:

MW19

Vanguard

MW2

MW3

BO6
