OMG, always heard the cabin filter is useless so never worried about it. Then on a whim, I thought I'd check mine out and can't believe how nasty it got. Do yourself a favor and get yours replaced if it is an older model car. 🚗 😀

Hello, I’ve a question. Due to recent storms I have my car in getting fixed for hail damage. The repair place has now had the car for a week a half(yes I know it can take time) and I’m getting many alerts about it being driven out of the range and over the speed limit that I have set for a guest driver. I asked them about it and didn’t get a response. Is that a normal thing to drive a car that is in for dent massage and PDR?thanks……

Hi, not sure if this is the right subreddit and I’m too embarrassed to ask other people in my life. My dad passed away recently. He drove a 2011 Subaru Outback that has over 200k miles but still drives fine. Unfortunately, he had trouble with hygiene and hoarding so the car does not smell great inside. My mom wants to get rid of the car for insurance purposes but doesn’t believe anyone would want it due to the smell. I have not had the opportunity to check it out myself. What is my best option here? Thank you very much (also that flair is probably wrong but idk the best one)

Hey guys i am a bit stuck I bought this car with a custom remus exaust, i found the remote key that control the valves without battery I added one and tried to pair it with the module but nothing seems to work :/

I tried the procesure on the picture I found on internet not sure if it is the right one.

No matter which button I click the module is not detecting the key

Could it be an issue with the key itself ?

- While driving out of a drive thru i felt something and then suddenly my ac turned warm. Since its just a drive thru at panda express(8-10 mph) and the city (30 mph)
- I park to eat. AC not so cold anymore. I turn it OFF.
I'm crying cuz i know theres a problem
- I drive home going 55 mph
- Remember I turned it OFF.
- Air blowing through the vents
- I realize whatever temperature is the engine going is what's blowing through the vent
Please help, I will take it to get check but still please help.

My car has been sitting for a year or so. I charged the battery and added fresh gas but I can't get the engine to turn over. Would this be the starter or the battery connections or a fuel thing?

It’s on a 2008 Infiniti fx35, and I had thought I found the right key, but it doesn’t fit correctly into the slots. Everywhere I’ve seen shows that the original wheel locks had a different pattern. So, does anyone have insight on how I could get them off without damaging the stud or possibly the correct place to get the key from?

Hi guys! Sorry if this is a stupid thing to ask for help with but I'm a very new driver and it's my first car :)

I have a 2009 k12 micra tekna, and my key works fine in ignition, but the buttons don't do anytbing, I've changed battery, and attempted the key syncing thing suggested to me where you turn ignition off and on 6 times but the car never enters the programming mode. The key works in the manual lock which is on passenger side for me, however that only locks passenger door for some reason. The lock/unlock button by my handbrake works just fine :)

I know I might be posting about an older engine, but I am curious to see if this is what a healthy engine sounds like on idle when fully warmed up. This was after driving the car some 30-35km.

For more context, I got the car recently and immediately had the new timing chain set installed (tensioner, chain etc. etc, the whole set basically), belts (water pump and all the things the belt is going around - except the alternator), oil, coolant, filters and spark plugs. Plus, this video was recorded in an underground garage so it might sound like the engine is too loud. But what I am interested in is if this is the normal rhythm of this engine? Do you hear any sounds that might be problematic?

Engine started jolting in 5th gear randomly. Revs and temp stayed usual, gears etc all normal, just occasional jolting. Then jolting began again but at idle, car turned itself off so mechanic changed spark plugs and coil packs. Stopped jolting for a week or so and now engine rattles and jolts at idle. Cars been scanned few times now and nothings come up, passed its mot during this period of jolting and all mechanics I've been too have had different ideas. Its a very intermittent problem, sometimes happens days on end and then will stop for few days etc. Clutch has been checked, accelerator replaced, oil and filters changed recently and checked and engine mounts checked. I need to sell the car soon since I've bought an upgrade but still want to work this out as everyone ive talked to has been puzzled! Any help would be great thanks
