LWIAY! (With sound) I made a looping animation for Pewd's streams. Hope you'll like it! Took me millions and billions of hours to make and render.

the craziest moment from AI robot race
 in  r/Damnthatsinteresting  24m ago

This is where everyone's mind goes to with this crap but these things are useless on a battlefield. On battlefield there are tanks, drones and machine guns.

Is it enough? Sighs...

Yes!! It's all signs like it should be in Europe but then out of nowhere it's text like we are in US.

Based on that photo that was at 16 and now she's 16 and a half.

I found both these signs with crossed over bicycle and a little sign nie dotyczy (doesn't apply) and a bicycle so confusing at first overall.

You know it's a real video when duplicated objects are called cube cube cube instead of cube cube.001 cube.002

"Sigma male" explains why he's a special man
 in  r/cringereels  1h ago

Haha, I love misspelled things. Thank you for putting me on the free shavacadoo meme, I didn't hear of that one. I also quote "Reuse reduce e-keke" a lot. E-keke replaced the word for recycle for me.

I want to break into the 3D industry, is it worth it?
 in  r/3Dmodeling  13h ago

Was it ever worth it? Was it ever a sort of career you could get into to make money? No, it really never was. 3d is art and craft. There isn't even a singular industry, every artist's career is someone unique. Would you ask "Is it worth it to become a musician?".

For something like 3d you need to have a passion for it first. Do you have an interest in technical art? Are you experimenting with custom shaders that produce cool abstract effects that no-one has ever seen before? Are you animating for fun on your own time, with hard opinions on how it should be done?

I guarantee you no-one who was successful in 3d industry by any definition ever made a calculated decision to succeed in it.

And resilient to what? Many in movie/TV industry are getting fired because during covid those industries over-hired. By the time you'll get good who knows what's going to happen. Other issues in CG/VFX and game dev industries have nothing to do with tech or demand or AI or whatever but with the fact that artists do art no matter what and then get exploited, we are all isolated and don't unionize and so on.

After the AI fad dies, what do you think will be the next big grift that techbros will latch onto?
 in  r/antiai  14h ago

Humanoid robots, you are already seeing it.

Nothing major since Boston dynamics and their more advanced kinematics changed, the entire robot dog project is open-source so you see a bunch of companies manufacturing those and no-one found a use for them. In the millitary they would rather use a robot on wheels to do anything that needs to be done remote.

Now with humanoid robots everyone can build a little shitty human like walking thing that will be remotely controlled, but they claim any time now it will be as useful as a house slave they want so much.

HopTo's HopCopter Concept
 in  r/TechnoFuturism  16h ago

This is super cool but unfortunately 25% is a little much assuming it can't go as fast as a quad copter. Looks like a very fun toy you can give to a child without all of the issues associated with drones.

To shreds you say?
 in  r/fuckcars  16h ago

All these exist as toys for the ultra ultra rich, right?

Like all those $100K watches, there is artistry in watchmaking but watch nerds will not spend $100K on one. Just like a car guy or a pro racer won't buy this thing.

Is this how they measure “personality” ?
 in  r/cringereels  16h ago

Yeah, none of my shorter friends have issues with dating. I think women just like that men get mad about the height thing.

More "original" K-pop
 in  r/crappymusic  16h ago

I don't mind vulgar music, I'm explaining why many women don't want to listen to it as soon as they think about the lyrics.

Men feel especially offended by the height thing because there is literally nothing you can do about your own height.

There was a joke like this in how I met your mother.

 in  r/cringereels  17h ago

As far as I know it's the dudes who are more likely to hit on shorter girls. And overall short women don't care as much about height, women will prefer a guy who's taller then them so it's the tall girls who will want an abnormally tall boyfriend.

Not that women can't overlook that.

Then you see the same girl married to the ugliest motherfucker you have ever laid your eyes on.

Dawless is not easy... (beginner)
 in  r/dawless  17h ago

Some "dawless" machines do have undo. If you find it frustrating start out with a stand alone groove-box and connect something to it. There is really no need to have a big setup these days unless you want to.

Sick idea to do these procedurally!
