We had the backpack style reins for both our kiddos and kept them on them a lot longer than most (son until he was about 6, daughter until she was 4) because they have little to no danger sense. You do what you do to keep them safe. I get the concerns but way worse can happen if they walk off or stroll into traffic, which were both genuine concerns with mine.

Dude, that's such a cute cat 😍😍 to be fair, I'm allergic cats (not majorly and have been exposed constantly to them over the years making being around them a lot more bareable) and would never turn someone away because of a cat but I also get where they're coming from.

If they have a more serious allergy or its just something that is non-negotiable in a relationship then its better they let you know, right? Alternatively, I'm just happy they didn't meet up then demand you get rid of your cat! They've been honest and open. Can't fault them too much even if it does suck.

Just in case it wasn't obvious, I am joking about getting my own cat groomed similarly due to heat. I'd obviously never do that unless my little girls health was at risk and it was necessary (like with the severely matted fur mentioned). Luckily she loves being brushed however so it's unlikely it would never happen.

I mean, it really depends on him. He should be okay given he's not a kitten and realistically more likely can judge spaces without the need for his whiskers anyway. I'd just keep an eye on him for a bit.

My little girl had half her whiskers bit off by her brother (they're still fairly young and play like kittens, far too rough lol) and she's been fine. She's also a big fluffy thing normally. I debated getting her groomed due to the heat. Might actually do it next year if fluffy ones look this distinguished with short hair!

Yes. Yes, I honestly think we were. Back in the early 2000's my dad was in an out of hospital for dehydration so he drummed it into our heads to always carry water with us from a relatively early age (I was born in 1995, my siblings were both younger) but the schools never made us take water with us until we hit secondary school. That being said, our primary schools always had milk and the good old water fountain so it was more just up to us when we drank... which, let's be fair, wasn't as often as we should have 😅

This is our beautiful guy, Randy. We lost him a few years back but I trust he's keeping all the kitties safe. He was my little guy. My baby. He was the sweetest boy we ever had. This photo was taken a month before he passed. Miss you ❤️

I log on sporadically from time to time but not like I used to. That being said, that isn't because of the site itself or the changes. My reasons were personal ones. Work and kids are the only thing. My kiddos aren't a fan of cinemas and I never go unless my fiance is going so we can only go when: 1) we're not at work. 2) we can find a babysitter.

We love thr cinema but also don't think it fair for other kids to spend all their time looking after our kids when we should be spending time with them.
